“Jessica was such a great find. She was so good with my Ziggy. Kept me very informed thru out the evening. Came home to a very content puppy. Definitely will be using her again.”

“Geri was amazing with our two babies! Very punctual and cared for them at all times,we received pictures day and night. We felt very comfortable having Geri house sitting and taking care of our babies.”

“MNicky was beyond awesome with my fur babies. I was gone for 8 days. My 12 year old chihuahua has allergies and is super sensitive to touch. Nicky was wonderful with him, making sure the leash didn’t touch him etc. My 2 cats are young and hide from strangers. When I got home, all 3 babies were looking to her for attention and pettings and ignoring me. A great sign of what an awesome job she did. Nicky stayed in my home with my babies. My home was cleaner when I got home then it was when I left. She cleaned the inside of my microwave, a job I hate. What a great surprise when I opened the door to a sparkling interior. I would definitely use Nicky again.”

“Ari was great with Tyson and I felt very secure with leaving him in her care. She had great communication and sent lots of pictures. Even better that Tyson absolutely loves her! I’ll definitely be booking her again… and I know Tyson will be ecstatic 🤩”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’ve raised and puppy-trained dogs, have experience with exotic animals, and understand that every pet is different. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I’m free all day Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Tuesdays and Fridays, I only work a short evening shift, and on weekends I work until about 4:30pm. That leaves me with lots of time to make sure your pet gets the attention, walks, and care they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My apartment community has a fenced dog park for safe outdoor play, along with plenty of sidewalks and green spaces for walks. While my apartment is on the smaller side, your pet will have lots of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and one on attention during their stay.

“Kaylee was awesome with my babies. All 3 are not the easiest to handle but she did it with confidence and ease. I had a peace of mind on my trip knowing she was spoiling my babies rotten. Thanks again Kaylee, I look forward to booking you again soon!”

“Kathleen was amazing. Highly recommend her. Very professional and treated Charlie as if ihe was her own dog. Very knowledgeable and made sure she understood my needs and Charlie’s. She’s the best!”

About: As someone who lives an active lifestyle, I love keeping dogs engaged, exercised, and mentally stimulated. I’m reliable, disciplined, and detail-oriented, and I treat every dog like family. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or sticking to a specific feeding schedule, I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m active and structured with my time. I build my day around walks, exercise, and being present, so your dog will get plenty of attention and activity. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding, and I’m flexible with mornings, afternoons, and weekends. I prioritize consistency and reliability so your pet’s routine stays on track. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I maintain a clean, calm, and structured environment where dogs can feel secure. I closely supervise playtime, follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, and stick to your dog’s normal routine. If needed, I can crate your dog and separate pets to ensure everyone is comfortable. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family.
“Michelle’s service goes above and beyond the normal pet sitting duties. She moved around other duties so she could make sure to be available to spend quality time with my dog during her stay at our place. She updates multiple times a day with photos and stories and details, and leaves the house better than she found it. If you are an anxious pet owner when youre away from your baby, she will put you at ease and allow you to enjoy your vacation, easily.”
“My 5 year old definitely has separation anxiety. When my family booked a vacation elsewhere than our planned my house, instead of hauling him off to boarding in his presidential suite, I decided to let him have the joy of staying in his bed with his toys and in the comfort of his home. Ashley agreed to come meet my pup so they could become acquainted before we booked and they hit it off immediately! Day 1 of be being gone, I received several photos helping ease my stress of my sweet pup. By day 2, he was cuddling with her on the couch! I definitely found my pup sitter from now on! I would also like to add, I had the sitter stay in my home while I was away, and I walked into my house finding it cleaner than I had left it. Thank you Ashley for taking such great care of my pup!!”

“Amber was fantastic! She was so attentive to our puppy and made us feel at ease with her amazing communication, updates, photos and videos. She truly cared about our puppy and he had the best time playing with her.”

“Ruah was very communicative and reliable during her stay with our kitties. She left the place immaculate and we came home to two happy, healthy fur babies. Would work with Ruah again!”

Great sitter! Took very good care of our dog and cat while we were away so we could enjoy our vacation without worrying about them! Good communication and sent photos with updates for ease of mind. Went above and beyond to deal with our apartment management’s unit inspection and helped us with a last minute request for house care.

Beth was amazing with my dogs! She was kind, reliable, and made me feel completely at ease while they were in her care. She kept me updated, treated them like her own, and it was obvious they were happy and well cared for. I really appreciated her communication and attention to detail. I would absolutely book with Beth again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring dog sitter!

This was our second time using Karren -- this time we had her stay with our pup in our home for 2 nights. Karren was very caring with our dog during thunderstorms and also was very helpful with making sure our home was secure during it. We appreciate her partnership!

Camila was absolutely wonderful with our cat, Star. From the moment we connected, she was kind, communicative, and clearly a true animal lover. She took such great care of Star for the day and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Camila kept us updated, was attentive to Star’s needs, and treated her like her own. It means so much to know your pet is in good hands, and Camila exceeded our expectations. We’re so grateful for her help and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. Highly recommend! 🐾✨

Jonathan and Giannina were wonderful with Mister MacDuffin. They were attentive, communicative and it was clear that he was comfortable and happy in their care. This was my first trip away from him using Rover, and they truly put me at ease. I would gladly book with them again for in house sitting, boarding or daycare. Thank you both so much!

Manda is the best!! My kitties always have such a happy and peaceful time with her. One of them is very anxious and he is always calm and happy with her. He even packed himself into her bag last time! lol I highly recommend Manda, she is professional, clean, and dependable. You will always feel at ease when she is caring for your pets.

Jennifer did an amazing job! I came home to a very clean house and my dog and rabbit were very well taken care of. Jennifer sent me a lot of great pictures and updates. Her response rate was also on point. I will definitely use her again. A very great experience, I could tell in her picks my rabbit and our little dog were happy!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred South Palm Beach walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in South Palm Beach maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in South Palm Beach choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
