About: Hi, I’m a dog and I highly recommend my human. He’s the best. Seriously. He gives the best belly rubs, knows exactly how I like my treats, and never forgets my favorite toy. He has professional experience taking care of pups like me and not just the easy ones. He’s worked with puppies who chew everything (including his shoelaces), and senior dogs who need a little extra love, patience, and help getting around including his dog Bobby, who is 13 years old. He’s calm when I’m nervous, fun when I’m full of zoomies, and always makes sure I feel safe and loved when my people are away. I’ve seen him work his magic on other pets too, cats, dogs, you name it. They all seem to like him. (Even the grumpy cat across the street.) So if you’re looking for someone to take care of your furry family member like they’re his own, he’s your human. Trust me. I’d give him four paws up if I could. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, so it’s a natural part of my day to day life. I structure my schedule around making sure pets get the time, attention, and care they need, whether that’s early morning walks, mid day play sessions, or evening snuggles on the couch. I am a student, which means I’m able to give pets plenty of love and attention throughout the day. Walks, feedings, potty breaks, medication—whatever your pet needs, I can work it into my routine without a problem. I love starting and ending my day with tail wags, purrs, and happy paws. Being around animals helps keep me happy, so pet care isn’t just something I do, it’s something I look forward to every single day. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m coming to your home, my goal is always the same, to make them feel safe, loved, and totally comfortable. In my home, pets have a cozy, pet friendly space to relax, play, and be part of the family. I make sure they have a consistent routine with plenty of potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles. I’m mindful of feeding schedules, any special instructions, and making sure your pet feels right at home. If they have a favorite bed, toy, or blanket, I always encourage bringing it along! In your home, I aim to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible by having same walk times, same feeding routine, and all the little things that make them feel at ease. I’ll treat your home with care and respect, and make sure you get regular updates and photos so you know your pet is in good hands. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or a walk, I do everything I can to keep tails wagging and stress levels low (for both you and your pet!).
“Jess was amazing. She is very responsible. She sent me videos and pictures and let me know if my dog had any medical issues. Jess was also very flexible in solving any problem that would arise. 5 stars across the board!”

“I always know that Asher will be SO well cared for by Mackenzie. It’s such a relief when I am out of town to know that my girl is in good hands! Thanks, again, Mackenzie!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was young and always loved giving them attention and care. I have two cats and a dog of my own right now. I love taking my dog on walks and seeing how much she enjoys it! I’m currently completing my Level II fieldwork for school. I’m at my fieldwork placement Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays until around 6 PM, so I’m generally available in the evenings on those days. Tuesdays and Thursdays are much more open, giving me more flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and pet care throughout the day. My schedule can occasionally vary, so I’m always happy to communicate and work around your pet’s needs! I’ll make sure to read all instructions carefully and follow everything properly. I respect my clients’ homes and will only be in areas where I’m allowed to be while caring for your pet.
“Malynda was great with our clan!!! She checked in a lot, sent photos and went above and beyond for our pets. I know it was a successful and great week for my pets and she sent me photos of the timid cats getting pets from her and treats!! I highly recommend her.”

“Jennifer was great! She watched my dog for a week over Christmas. She communicated regularly and took great care of him. She cleaned and left the place in great condition. Would definitely recommend!”

“Susana was a delight and we couldn’t be more grateful for the way she cared for and loved on our sweet boy. She was respectful, responsive, and sent so many pix/videos. Highly recommend!”

“Maria is a joy. She’s dedicated, punctual and loves animals. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog who was having tummy issues with Maria. She was very attentive to his needs and gave us frequent updates and pictures. We will definitely be hiring Maria again.”

“Roberta has been absolutely fantastic! You can tell she is a true dog lover from the first moment she met our pups. She has been a perfect fit for helping us during a busy time—always professional and consistently on time. We especially love that she sends regular updates and videos, which gives us such peace of mind. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and highly recommend booking her!”

About: I have the biggest heart for animals. I grew up with a golden retriever and 3 cats, but have been surrounded by friends and family’s animals my whole life. Many people in my town back home will have me walk their pups, stop in and let them out, and trust me to stay with their furry friends for days at a time. I have a very open class schedule so I am able to be very flexible and all over the place when it comes to to pet care I am still working on a solution to how I can keep pets in my apartment. But I am happy to stay as long as needed in homes to keep their pup company. I can so quick drop in visits or stay for a lengthy amount of time. I’d love to bring these dogs to the beach or on a walk on some trails!
About: I’ve taken care of my daughters dogs when they travel and I really like enjoy doing it. We have a good connection I love playing and feeding them. I am an energetic person who is very active in my free time, I love going on walks, exploring new areas and making new furry friends! I am very flexible as I am retired and can arrange my schedule to fit your needs. I make sure they are safe at all times. I monitor them for any behavioral changes, ensure there is nothing harmful in their vicinity, and just overall make sure the pet is relaxed and happy. I would never leave a pet in a distressed state.

About: Hello, my name is Leila Woods and I am currently in my senior year at FAU. I was raised in a quiet beach town, but in a rather noisy house. For furry friends we have had multiple dogs, cats and fish, as well as some bearded dragons! I have been pet sitting for nearly five years now, as I began in high school with watching my neighbors pets. I love being able to spend my time adoring and caring for animals, especially now that I’m away at college with no pets of my own… so your pets will get extra love and attention! I am currently a senior in mostly remote classes and work an online job, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends! As I don’t have animals of my own I will have extra love and attention for your pets! I treat any animal I work with as my own, being sure to care for its every need. As I care for your pets, I will also care for your home, ensuring all food and toys are where they belong.
About: As someone who lives an active lifestyle, I love keeping dogs engaged, exercised, and mentally stimulated. I’m reliable, disciplined, and detail-oriented, and I treat every dog like family. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or sticking to a specific feeding schedule, I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m active and structured with my time. I build my day around walks, exercise, and being present, so your dog will get plenty of attention and activity. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding, and I’m flexible with mornings, afternoons, and weekends. I prioritize consistency and reliability so your pet’s routine stays on track. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I maintain a clean, calm, and structured environment where dogs can feel secure. I closely supervise playtime, follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, and stick to your dog’s normal routine. If needed, I can crate your dog and separate pets to ensure everyone is comfortable. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family.
“Kathleen was the most wonderful pet sitter ever! Not only did my 2 dogs and cat love her but so did we! She stayed at my house for 2 weeks while we were in Spain and cooked for them and even watered our plants and took care of our house. My babies were so well taken care of and loved! ❤️ I definitely will be using her every time! I recommend you do too!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Boynton Beach
I truly cannot recommend Eduardo enough! If I could give him more than five stars, I absolutely would. I’ve actually been a dog sitter myself for many dogs over the years, so I know what I look for in someone caring for mine. This was my first time leaving my 14-year-old and 4-year-old dogs with someone who wasn’t a friend or family member, and I was also traveling internationally, so I was definitely a little nervous going into it. The second I met Eduardo, though, I immediately felt at ease. My dogs took to him right away, and from the very beginning it was obvious how attentive and detail-oriented he is. He asked thoughtful, specific questions about each dog—their routines, personalities, quirks, preferences, and what makes them comfortable. He genuinely cared about keeping their normal schedule and making their time with him feel as familiar and stress-free as possible. Our dogs are relatively easy, but one does have some anxiety, especially during storms, and Eduardo handled him wonderfully. What impressed me most was how well he seemed to understand both of their individual personalities in such a short amount of time. He didn’t just make sure they were fed, walked, and taken care of—he genuinely spent time with them, engaged with them, and made them feel comfortable and loved. And the updates were AMAZING. They were detailed, thoughtful, funny, and came with the best pictures. With every update, I felt like I was getting a little glimpse into their day rather than just receiving the standard “dogs are good!” message. You could genuinely see how happy and relaxed they were in every photo. He picked up on all of their little nuances and personality traits, and somehow managed to capture them perfectly. Even while I was thousands of miles away, I still felt completely connected to what they were doing and how they were feeling. Funny enough, my husband and I were on two separate trips that weekend, and both of our groups had friends who also had dogs at home with pet sitters. We were each sharing Eduardo’s updates with our respective groups, and EVERYONE was blown away by him—especially compared with the updates they were receiving from their own sitters! By the end of the weekend, Eduardo had basically developed a fan club of people who had never even met him. 😂 He was also incredibly respectful of our home. We came back to everything exactly as we had left it and, most importantly, to two very happy, relaxed dogs who clearly had an amazing weekend themselves. There is such a huge difference between finding someone who will simply take care of your pets and finding someone who makes you feel completely comfortable being away from them. Eduardo is absolutely the latter. The peace of mind he gave us was invaluable, and I never once worried about whether our dogs were safe, happy, or getting enough attention. I would recommend Eduardo 100 times over. He is attentive, trustworthy, communicative, responsible, kind, and clearly genuinely loves the animals he cares for. We feel incredibly lucky to have found him and will absolutely be booking him again. Anyone who gets Eduardo as their sitter—and any pet who gets to spend time with him—is incredibly lucky!

Maria was absolutely wonderful! She house sat for us for four days and took such great care of our cat, Star. She was incredibly attentive, reliable, and caring, and kept us updated with messages and photos throughout our trip, which we really appreciated. It was such a comfort knowing that Star was happy, comfortable, and being so well cared for in his own home. We came home to a very happy Star and our house exactly as we left it. We completely trusted Maria in our home and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely have her watch Star again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, responsible, and trustworthy sitter. Thank you so much, Maria!

I can't recommend Emily highly enough. She stayed at my house and watched my maltipoo for over two weeks, and she did an absolutely amazing job. I'd never met her before, so naturally I had some nerves about handing over my home and my dog to someone new, but those disappeared fast. She earned my complete trust. She took wonderful care of the house and even better care of Baxter, who was clearly happy and well looked after the whole time. On top of that, she kept me updated regularly, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. Emily was an incredible find, and I'd welcome her back in a heartbeat. If you're looking for someone reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely caring, she's the one.

Erika was absolutely amazing with my fur babies. She stayed with them at my apartment for several days. My Lhasa Apso is a subborn pain in the butt that isn’t comfortable with being left with strangers. But Erica won him over!! My other baby is a pug mix with diabetes. She lost her site due to the diabetes as well. She gets insulin injections twice per day along with a couple diff eye drops. It’s crucial that she gets her medication’s at exactly 12 hours apart every single day. She can’t be late and she can’t miss a dosage. She made sure to stay on top of it every single day. She sent me pictures and videos several times a day. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of my babies than Erika. I have been in Florida for 5 1/2 years and I finally found someone to take care of them when I want to leave to see my kids out of state and not feel stressed or worried about their care 💕🙌 I highly recommend

This was our second time using Karren -- this time we had her stay with our pup in our home for 2 nights. Karren was very caring with our dog during thunderstorms and also was very helpful with making sure our home was secure during it. We appreciate her partnership!

Antonette did an amazing job caring for my 2 cats and 2 dogs. Communication was excellent with quick updates, photos, and always easy to reach. You can tell she genuinely cares and my pets were relaxed and happy when I got back. She’s reliable, attentive, and very trustworthy. I’d absolutely book again!

Shay was a pleasure to meet. Very personable and friendly from the moment I met her. I have two dogs that can be a bit timid, and nervous with new people. She has a nice calming spirit about her and they both took to her quickly. I appreciate all the pictures and detailed updates she sent. She left the house, looking great and emptied the trash and made sure the boys had water. Everything was perfect! I will definitely book with her again whenever she’s available. She was very responsive from when I first contacted her through the whole booking. Thank you the boys loved you!

Kelly is an amazing dog sitter. This is the second time I’ve used her for overnight stays, and she continues to do a fantastic job. She keeps in touch consistently, sends updates, and I genuinely feel that she cares about my dog. I always feel confident leaving him in her care. I’m also very grateful for how helpful and accommodating she has been whenever I’ve needed support. I highly recommend Kelly

Manda is the best!! My kitties always have such a happy and peaceful time with her. One of them is very anxious and he is always calm and happy with her. He even packed himself into her bag last time! lol I highly recommend Manda, she is professional, clean, and dependable. You will always feel at ease when she is caring for your pets.

Lauren was absolutely amazing! She stayed for a long weekend to look after our pup. She took great care of our dog, communicated throughout the stay with photos and videos, and left our house spotless! We definitely will be booking with her again in the future!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Boynton Beach walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Boynton Beach maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Boynton Beach choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Boynton Beach. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
