About: I've always had dogs in my life, typically owning my own. In the past 10 years it's been very serious with working with shelters, being trained, babysitting and housesitting, and fostering. I have recommendations, references and all of the passion in the world for pets, especially dogs. I work from home and am readily available and flexible. I take breaks any time. About: I have been rescuing dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, going back to my early childhood in Ukraine. It is the one constant that never changed in my life, and that is my unwavering love for animals. I have volunteered as a veterinary assistant at holistic practice in Tampa, and ran my own 501c3 animal rescue, saving and rehoming 165 cats and dogs in the process. I earned my masters from UF in ecology and wildlife conservation, and had my graduate research sited in Journal of Veterinary Medicine - focused on pain bio markers as potential evidence that would help resolve animal abuse cases. I do have experience caring for elderly dogs and cats, medicating, monitoring, potty training, as well as caring for newborn kittens and puppies. If I could spend the rest of my life in the company of animals - I would be living my dream life. So I have decided to start moving in that direction - the direction of my soul’s joy. I have rearranged my work schedule in such a way that ensures my continued availability for animal care opportunities.
