Everyone loves coming to camp :o)Greenacres, FL

I currently offer doggy daycare (in addition to overnight boarding)! We would be happy to keep your pup entertained while you are away for the day.

We live in a modest 4 bedroom, single family home with pool (surrounded by a baby gate) on a lake with a decent sized, unfenced back yard. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part... nestled away from any major highways. Our vet is two streets over from our home and we recommend them highly.

All critters who come to stay or visit adhere to pack rules easily. They stay in the backyard without transgressing boundaries. By all means, when needed (and for most guests) we can put on a tethered leash while outside and or walk with them in the yard.

Unless you state otherwise, they are allowed on furniture here... microfiber was made for pet lovers. Your pet can sleep wherever he or she wants. If you don't want them on the furniture, please let us know. Feel free to bring their dog beds (&/or crates, if necessary) as well for their comfort, familiarity and security sake. All beds need to be washable as on occasion, we have a pup that likes to make things smell like his or her own. LOL

July 4th of 2012, we lost the matriarch of the pack, our beloved 16 & 3/4-year-old terrier mix, Khodee. She has always been a blessing in our lives and now looks after us as our true Angel. Sheis on Facebook under Khodee Carter. Her Doxie sister, Nxyx (Facebook: Nyxy Carter), passed 6 months prior and also watches over things now from afar.

We were babysitting an 11+-year-old, male American Eskimo named Skylar, one of my GodDogs. (Facebook: Skylar Erickson) His parents were out of the country on an extended visit. Unfortunately, he passed mid-2014 due to bladder cancer. He is sorely missed.

And we were also watching a 9+-year-old lab mix named Hayley, my other GodDog, (Facebook: Hayley Hayle) whose parents moved into a place they could not have her. She stayed with us hoping her parents would find new digs. We lost her in April of 2015 due to bloat and an emergency vet that did not operate in time. :( Over her stay here she had become the new matriarch and supported me in keeping everyone in line. How I miss her being the first to greet new guests outside. She had become a great friend and I would even say, business partner.

There were 2 female cats as well:

Funny Face- (born 1997)

We just lost her in April of 2018, just one month shy of her 21st birthday.

(Facebook: Funny Face Carter)

WysPurr is our only girl kitty now- (born 2008)

(Facebook: WysPurr Carter)

And now one male cat:

PepPurr- (born 5/31/2014)

(Facebook: PepPurr Cat)

WysPurr thinks she is an aloof and agile dog, keeping everything on her terms. PepPurr is an absolute love and either thinks he is a dog or possibly a human. They have their own room and can be kept separated if necessary.

Each dog has their own specific food, so please bring your food (and food bowl) for your pet and let us know if there's a challenge with any treats as we do have a few from time to time. Everyone will eat separately so that we can ensure they are eating, not stealing or having food stolen and for safety to ensure that there is not any unexpected food aggression.

Our water is hydrogen-enriched for health benefits and bowls are kept full all over the house on a regular basis. No need to bring a water bowl specifically.

We are flea and tick FREE and Only treat the yard with a mild insecticide every other month. It is imperative, that your kids be free from these pests. We understand the fewer chemicals and poisons they are exposed to, the better and everyone gets to be kept safe and healthy. Up-to-date vaccinations and worming is also a must.

Dogs prone to unruliness or slight aggressions could be welcome but ONLY upon a meet and greet to decide if this is the best option for all concerned. Poor behavior is not tolerated. This household generates a peaceful, loving, fun and copacetic environment. All creatures adapt and are treated fairly always. We context for all creatures and our home exudes a certain canine tranquility that makes everything go smoothly.

About this sitter:

Gotta love the fur kids. :)

I have always had pets since I was a child. I love sitting because if I were to go out of town, I would want ME to watch my pets. No breed preferences. They are not walked as much as they are let out in the backyard and monitored. We run tethers to the fence from the patio so those that have a tendency to wander can stay in the yard with the others who do not.

If medication is needed, let's talk. Oral is one thing, shots are another.

We have a full toybox of ropes, balls, and other chew toys. We no longer buy stuffed toys for safety reasons. There really is no need to bring any toys unless your pet is just really attached and of course, Not aggressive about it.

I work from home for the most part. And... that's not to say things do not get in the way of me being home from time to time. Meetings and errands play a part of regular life as well.

I also have a team of people: dog trainers, vet techs, pet psychologists, my family, friends and/or other sitters who are also available to support at any given time and could even be staying with me during any stay. We have a few favorite Rover sitters who pop in from time to time, Leah who is just moving down from Georgia. She likes to visit with the kiddos and help me out. Eddie, Zach, Joy, Shane, Mark, Marta, Irene, Grace, Nicole, Sean, Wendy, my beau (Kevin), and my Mom (Sandy) are always on call as needed. We also have another Leah, Becca, Crystal, Ashley, and Keri who are local and do their own drop in or house sitting services. Keri is also my assistant and helps me in the office too. I always make sure all fur kids can be accommodated, be immensely loved and have excellent care regardless of my schedule. I do not like them going for longer than 4 hours without human attention. :)

Any further questions, please ask!

Please if you make a request and then make other arrangements, Please... let me know as well. I do my best to support people on a first come, first serve basis... when you inquire, I hold a space if applicable.

I am often scheduling meet and greets or staggering drop offs and pick ups. Please note the time of drop off and pick up when you book your stay and be timely or be in communication so that I can accommodate you accordingly. It's greatly appreciated and allows me to handle your furry loved one with dedicated focus and attention. PLEASE... Only knock as a last resort.

Oh... we have 2 great groomers within a short distance of the home... TnT and Fur Crazy. Happy to drop off and pick up if you want to make an appointment for the days we have them. Just add a $5 round trip charge to the visit and let us know in advance to ensure we are available for those times. :)

Lastly... I have a Facebook page for all of the petsitting we do here although I only book through this service. I generally will upload photos and videos from every stay to that page as well as send you photos. If you would like your pet to have their own Facebook, please let me know and add an additional $20 to the stay. I'll be happy to set up the page, make you admins and tag your fur child in all of the pictures. :) Currently, the page is named Manifest Manor Critter Care. Look us up and "like". :)

Why I love dog sitting

I have always had pets since I was a child. I have fostered two sets of Mama dogs with their pups. 1 with 5 pups and, 1 with 9 puppies from the day after they opened their eyes. All were named and easily identified (much to everyone else's amazement) and adopted out. The first Mama dog lived out her days across the street from me.

Growing up, there was rarely a time when we had less than 5 dogs. All were cared for into their golden years.

I've watched dogs, cats, bird, bunny rabbits, hamsters, and gerbils to date. I'm open to any well-behaved creature.

Meet my pets

Luke is my roommate's dog. He's a Redbone Coonhound mix. Gets along with most although often wants the sanctuary of his own room where he can rest in peace and quiet.

There are 3 cats as well as mentioned above.

About my yard

We have a decent sized back yard surrounding pool area (with baby gate around pool). Unfenced yard. Lots of grass, on a lake (or what Floridians call a lake). We run tethers to the fence from the patio so those that have a tendency to wander can stay in the yard with the others who easily stay close.

My experience administering medication

Yes... and let's talk if it's necessary. Oral is one thing, shots are another.

FEEDBACK

I believe that feedback is one of the best ways to improve and grow. I am always open to respectful upfront feedback... the good and the bad and all in between. Please be sure to leave a review after each stay, and... should there Ever be any kind of concern whatsoever, please reach out to me via the site or in person. I am somewhat of an altruist by nature and I go out of my way for a pleasant experience for all. Still, we are ALL human. If something ever seems off, Please bring it to my attention. That will give me the opportunity to course correct, apologize &/or explain if needed. This two-way communication is essential. Certainly, I thank you for your understanding and your presupposed agreement to this from now onward. :) My commitment to you is to love and care for your pup as if he, she or they were very my own.

Pampered Paws of BocaBoca Raton, FL

I absolutely adore pets! I've had many dogs in the past including my beautiful golden retriever, Thunder, who recently passed away. I also have a big maine coon cat. I am an experienced dog watcher. I have watched small, medium, and large dogs of varying breeds. I am a widow and am home almost 24/7 except for occasionally going to the gym, grocery store, etc. All the dogs are treated as my own. If they sleep in your bed, they are welcome in my large king-size bed. I have a very large screen enclosure with a huge pool that dogs can swim in along with dog pool toys. I also have a big yard (not fenced) for dogs to play around on leash. I can take them on long walks around my neighborhood. I would love to snuggle your pets!

I take tremendous pride in the work I do caring for your doggies. My goal is to exceed your expectations and trust while your dogs are with me. I only have a few rules, and I am sure you will agree, that are important to ensure the most enjoyable and safe stay while your pooches are here with me in my home.

It is required that we have an in-person meet and greet, accompanied with your dog, for all first time boarders. I work very hard keeping my home clean to provide a wonderful and comfortable environment for your dogs, and I love a clean home, too! I will watch as many as six dogs at a time (and upon occasion, with approval from Rover I have had more than six), and at our meet and greet we can determine that all parties are a good fit. I want you to be comfortable with me, and I want to meet you and your dog so we all understand each other's mutual expectations.

As there are times there are six dogs staying with me (and as you can see in my profile, I also own a cat. A very cool cat. His name is Scout. And he truly is ultra cool!) So with this in mind, I do not board aggressive dogs. All dogs staying with me must be socialized. While I realize I am watching dogs, and I watch them very, very closely, and an occasional (very rare) flare up can occur, I have learned from experience that aggressive dogs are just not a good fit in my setting, and for my personality.

I also require that all dogs are current with all immunizations, as well as flea and tick treatments. I also require that all dogs are either spayed or neutered. It is also very important that your dog is housebroken. I do understand there are occasional accidents. But, please know that your dogs are walked constantly while I am caring for them, so it is important for me to know their potty habits. At our meet and greet I will provide a form for you to complete that will provide to me anything that may be specific about your dog that you will want me to know. Special diet, any medications, any allergies, is your dog a chewer, a barker... And I will answer any questions you may have for me when we meet.

When you book please list times for drop off and pick up.

And finally as an attendance note: drop off for your day of arrival is any time after 7am, and all pick ups must be done by 9 pm. I also ask that you do the best job communicating with me that you can, if for some reason you are unable to make a scheduled time with me. I'm very aware that things come up in these busy lives we live, and there are times adjustments to the schedule must be made. I always try to answer my phone so we can speak live. But if I don't pick up, please leave a text for me, and I will get back with you as soon as possible to change our arrangements.

Thank you.

Jill

We own and love dogs!Lake Worth, FL

My wife and I live in beautiful downtown Lake Worth in a single family home with a big back yard for the dogs to run and play. Your dogs can roam about our entire property without any restrictions. We take multiple walks every day to provide the necessary exercise all dogs want. I work mostly from home while my wife travels on a very limited basis. This means that at least one of us will be home almost all of the time to make sure our guests have company.

We are happy to accommodate any special requests your dog needs.

About this sitter:

We reside in a lovely single family home located just north of downtown Lake Worth. We have a large fenced in backyard for your dog to play and roam in with our dog. If you would rather we come to your home to take care of your dog(s), we can certainly accommodate you. Either way, your dog(s) will be well taken care of. We always stay in touch to make sure you are informed. We have several dog parks near by plus Bryant Park at the Intracoastal Waterway which is always visited by many friendly dogs.

Between my wife and I, we have a combined 55 years of experience owning dogs. We owned every size dog. From a 150 lb Great Dane to a 15 lb Lhasa Apso.

Why I love dog sitting

My wife and I both had dogs during our childhood. We both have a combined experience with dogs for over 55 years. We love any breed or size dog.

Meet my pets

We used to own a Great Dane (Trudi) which passed away in 2012. We adopted 'Roadie' the following April. He is a super friendly Lhasa Apso who loves all dogs and people. He is just a bundle of joy to be around and never stops making us laugh.

About my yard

We have a generous size backyard with plenty of space for dogs to play and roam. The entire backyard is fenced in by a newly constructed 6 foot high fence. There is no way a dog can get out unless he can jump over a 6 foot fence.

Clean and safe home for your pupLake Worth, FL

Hello and Welcome! :) Dog owner and lover since my first pet Daisy at age 6. I come from a long line of dog lovers. Both my parents trained dogs and encouraged me to spread love to our furry companions all my life. I know how important these family members are and also just how important it is to you, the owner, that your furry friend is well taken care of and provided for while you are away. I will make sure I take care of your baby(ies) the same loving way I take care of my own.

Whether inside or out, dogs will enjoy their time while staying with me. I have a LARGE fenced in backyard where dogs can run, play fetch and socialize with other guests. Meanwhile our guests inside will be spoiled with pets, cuddles, attention, and plenty of interaction. It is my experience that owners inform me that all their pets could do is sleep after leaving! Whether an abundance of energy or prefers to lounge in the cool A/C...I make sure to match your pups energy and ensure their stay with me is nothing shy of amazing! This is the perfect place to send your dog while you are away and want peace of mind. For dogs who require separate walks or one-on-one time in the yard, we can certainly accommodate. Your pets are in charge here. I am one of those overly obsessive dog owners that allows the dog to sleep in bed with me and run my life...so if you are looking for your baby to be loved...I'm the right sitter for you.

Some things I like to learn ahead of time:

Is your dog up to date on vaccines/flea and tick treatment?

Is your dog friendly with other dogs?

Does your dog have any medical conditions or allergies?

Does your dog have any food/treat preferences? Diet?

Does your dog exhibit any sort of food aggression or destructive behavior?

Just so you know, I'm comfortable working with ALL breeds of dogs!

All clients are urged to be as honest as possible with any bad behaviors that their dog may have. I'm more than happy to accommodate the specific needs of your dogs, it will help me to prepare and prevent any incidents by knowing in advance.

When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs!!!

Your dog will be happy at my placeBoynton Beach, FL

I have always had a passion and an intuition for dogs and I have helped my friends with their dog 'problems' all my life. A few years ago I took on the study of dog psychology at a college in Switzerland and now I am a certified dog behaviorist. I have a great ease around dogs of all sizes and character. I would love to take care of your dog in my house and my fenced in backyard. Should you want it, I can train your dog for you. I can take them to the dog park. Or they can just hang and play in my big fenced in backyard and get walked twice a day.

I will treat your baby like my own!Boca Raton, FL

I am so happy to announce that I am now a full time sitter!

I am a true animal lover with 20+ years experience volunteering in local animal shelters. Some would say I live for doggies :)

Approximately four years ago my life changed for the better when I rescued the love of my life, a one year old (at the time), six pound of pure heart Maltese named Polo. Polo is sweet, gentle, playful, and generous with his home and toys. He loves making new friends. We play when it's time to play and snuggle when it's time to snuggle with our pals.

We have a large fully fenced in yard for the pups to play freely while always supervised. Dogs are taken out frequently throughout the day. All guests are properly vetted (no pun intended) for compatibility prior to stay. Nutritional regimens are followed to the T. Photo updates will be sent out daily, sometimes hourly, so you won't go into puppy withdrawal. Atmosphere is clean and loving with primary focus on affection and safety. Polo and I look forward to meeting you and your best friend while forging a lifelong relationship based on trust and our common love for our furry friends.

It's a dog house, I just live in itLake Worth, FL

I grew up with dogs all my life, I was trained to train dogs. My father trained dogs for K9 and was a Military contractor. Training dogs runs deep in my bloodline. I have trained many of dogs myself and all of that I've owned. So you can rest assure any overly ALPHAISH dogs won't put the little pooches in harm. I always socialize all my guests dogs under my supervision. I also have zones to separate dogs spaciously.

My last dog of my own was a Champion Warlock Doberman from Kimbertal kennels and during his life he served me as a Stud and Guard dog. As a breeder I would accommodate female dogs for sometimes up to 2 weeks, so that is what kind of segwayed me into this pet sitting thing.

A dog trainer, A breeder, and now a dog sitter, there is no question of the love I have for mans best friend. There is no question of the level of care your family member will receive in my hands. Most well behaved dogs in my care enjoy an organic experience, for example full range of my home no crates for the most well behaved of guests. Even if there not well behaved or socialized, they will have the chance to with me and other guest dogs I have over. I will also provide a safe environment for those of which need to be separated, and those zones can accommodate them spaciously. I have a single family home with a very dog friendly yard, a pool and fenced yard where dogs can play mingle and keep cool at the sametime.

Understanding the dog is understanding the wolf, how the wolf socializes. The wolf is my favorite animal. Having a pack mentality, being the Alpha of this constantly revolving pack is something that comes very naturally to me. So much so, that during this latest hurricane Irma, I helped the community by taking and boarding 14 dogs safely under my care, along with 2 cats, and made it look easy. This is the kind of professionalism I bring to the table. This is the kind of care I would want for my family member.

The difference between my Dog Hotel and the dog hotel, is human interaction, the love they receive, and the openness. They will have friends, kids, and plenty of toys. Further training where needed, and tips provided to the owners.

I'm a regular Dog whisperer.

It's a dog house I just live in it.

Dogs Love Me!!Lake Worth, FL

I have always had dogs around me - since my first puppy I named "Lucky" when I was five. Now I have an adorable lab, Donnie, who is a constant source of fun and amusement! He gets along well with other dogs and loves to play and run with them in the backyard - He will definitely tire your pets out with play.

I am well versed in canine behaviour and you can be sure your pup will be a happy dog when you return to your home. I make my own dog treats - highly desirable beef jerky .... a wonderful training aid.

I am recently retired so your pup will always be supervised and will definitely not be bored, lonely or anxious while in my care.

I had a cocker spaniel for many years, Sammy, who eventually lost sight in both eyes due to glaucoma - then later she had a stroke which made her very unsteady as you can imagine. However Sammy, my other dogs and I got along just fine following her stroke till she peacefully passed away years later .... so if your pup is infirmed or injured in any way I believe I can handle him or her with tenderness and compassion.... just like little Sammy.

Pick up and drop off hours are:

Monday through Friday 7 AM to 7 PM, Saturday and Sunday 9 AM to 5 PM.

Holidays by appointment. Special arrangements are always available.
