“Kathleen was the most wonderful pet sitter ever! Not only did my 2 dogs and cat love her but so did we! She stayed at my house for 2 weeks while we were in Spain and cooked for them and even watered our plants and took care of our house. My babies were so well taken care of and loved! ❤️ I definitely will be using her every time! I recommend you do too!”

“Theresa was absolutely fantastic watching our dog Skye and our cats while we were away. Leaving Skye for the first time caused me a lot of anxiety, but Theresa made the entire experience so much easier and more comfortable. She was incredibly responsive, communicative, and thoughtful throughout the stay. She sent frequent updates and lots of pictures, which truly helped ease my stress and allowed me to actually relax knowing my pets were in great hands. It was very clear that she genuinely cared for Skye and the cats like they were her own. On top of that, she left our house spotless and well cared for when we returned. I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, caring, professional, and attentive, I would highly recommend Theresa without hesitation. We will absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Highly recommend Cassandra! We were out of the country and had no worries at all! She took great care of our babies with regular updates & photos, made our hearts so happy to be so at peace knowing they were well loved while we were away! Great with communication and making arrangements, this was our first time using this app& it was just so easy and care free! They are our babies so it means the world to us to know that they were in the best care while we were gone :)”

About: I’ve been a dog owner on and off for over 20 years. I have rescued two pit bulls one of which I spent a considerable amount of time and money getting trained. I picked up a few tricks along the way. I’m currently working full time but have enough free time and miss having a dog to walk. While I’m not ready for the commitment of a new pet I am ready to take good care of yours when you need someone to. I will care for your pet according to your specifications. I have had dogs all my adult life and know how specific we can be in how we care for our animals.

“Kaylee truly went above and beyond for house sitting our two dogs. She even provided enrichment to stimulate their minds and was able to care for our hurt dog with ease. Our house was kept clean and she arrived promptly and timely. Thank you for everything again!”

“Mackenzie did another successful stay with my sassy cat! She sent pictures all week, and I was constantly relieved knowing that Asher was in good hands. 5 stars, again!”

About: I've always had a passion for animals in my life, typically having my own. In the past 10 years I've been very serious with working with animal shelters, training, petsitting, and fostering. I have recommendations, references and all of the passion in the world for pets, especially dogs, but very much enjoy all 🥰 I work from home and am readily available and flexible. I take breaks any time necessary. Your pet will have my full attention. I also allow furniture and bed access, if that's allowed by you. I can care at a moments notice. I rarely leave town or am too busy. My rates as per my profile are negotiable especially when there are multiple pets, in which I have had quite a bit of experience. I have a spacious apartment and provide many walks, as well as parks and fulfilling, peaceful walk access. I keep a clean environment and attend to any special needs. I live alone so any pet would just have access to me. I take heed on all needs and wants for your pet. I have supplies, such as toys, leashes, water bowls, etc. I basically provide doggy spa days, as my friends and clients call them. However, I am accustomed to and am happy about housesitting for the fur babies.
“Gwendolyn was amazing with our 9 month-old golden retriever! She stayed at our place for a long weekend, kept everything so clean, and sent tons of updates and pictures which gave us so much peace of mind. We came home to a happy pup and spotless apartment—couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: I’ve had English Springer Spaniels my entire life, so being around dogs has always been second nature to me. Growing up with energetic, affectionate dogs taught me how important exercise, attention, patience, and play are for keeping dogs happy and healthy I currently work at a marina during weekdays but work at my own schedule. I am happy to drop everything and anything I need in order to take care of your pup. I provide attentive, reliable in-home pet care to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their own environment. I follow your pet’s normal routine closely including walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention while treating your home and pets with the same care and respect I would my own

“Jessica was super attentive to our 100 pound baby. He is 4 but gets anxious and does not like thunder. Jessica made sure he got lots of walks and ball playing to help balance his energy. We feel lucky that we found someone that can keep him company and happy!”
“Jessica was highly attentive and in constant clear communication while watching our corgi and Pomeranian. She made us feel at ease while we were on our trip! Afterall they are our fur babies!”

“Heather was so wonderful with our pets. She was very communicative and always let us know how things were going while we were away. She was so good with our senior dog and his medication‘s and special needs. I would love for her to come back and stay with our critters again!”
“Maria did a great job watching Teddy overnight. We had a meet and greet before she spent the night with Teddy. Very responsive and sent several pictures that night and the next day. She can certainly be counted on to take good care of your fur baby.”

About: I've taken care of both dogs and cats for many different people since I was about 14. I love animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them and It bring me comfort knowing that they don't have to be alone while their owner is away. I work as a sports instructor for preschoolers which gives me an incredibly flexible schedule allowing me to go hangout with the animals and check on them very frequently if needed making sure all of their needs are easily met. When I watch a pet in their own home, I will make sure they are fed, played with, and get frequent potty breaks. I will also make sure to keep the space clean and will pick up any messes made while I am watching the pet.

Jess was exceptional and I will definitely use her again. She is responsive, reliable, trustworthy, and caring. I felt completely comfortable leaving for the weekend. She took great care of my house and my 90-pound Akita. I give her my highest recommendation.
Aline took wonderful care of our cat, Star, while we were away for a week, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. She was attentive, reliable, and followed all of Star's detailed feeding and supplement routines perfectly. We especially appreciated the daily updates and photos, which gave us great peace of mind while traveling. Star looked happy, comfortable, and well cared for while we were away. It's clear that Aline genuinely loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. We are incredibly grateful for her kindness and professionalism and would not hesitate to book her again. Highly recommended!

5 stars isn’t enough to express the care that my babies received. Eric was highly communicative and also mindful of quirky requests that I made regarding food and sleeping arrangements for my old bestie. My pups were literally on vacation while I was out of town and that is an awesome experience all around.
Camila was absolutely wonderful with our cat, Star. From the moment we connected, she was kind, communicative, and clearly a true animal lover. She took such great care of Star for the day and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Camila kept us updated, was attentive to Star’s needs, and treated her like her own. It means so much to know your pet is in good hands, and Camila exceeded our expectations. We’re so grateful for her help and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. Highly recommend! 🐾✨

Jonathan and Giannina were wonderful with Mister MacDuffin. They were attentive, communicative and it was clear that he was comfortable and happy in their care. This was my first trip away from him using Rover, and they truly put me at ease. I would gladly book with them again for in house sitting, boarding or daycare. Thank you both so much!

Rosy was awesome. My babies loved her and were very well cared for. I loved being able to hear they were doing great. I appreciated very much when Zeus was not feeling well and looked for options to make him feel better. Thank you Rosy for caring for my babies.

Caleigh is the absolute best when it comes to looking after our two cats any time we are away. Truly could not ask for someone better, as she gives daily updates and spends plenty of time with the boys throughout her stay. They’re both a handful, but she handles their shenanigans with love and care. Thank you, as always!

Isabella was amazing with my Lola. She played with her and kept up with Lola’s high energy. She also communicated w my everyday and sent pictures as well. I would highly recommend Isabella to anyone who is worried leaving their dog for the first time, bc Isabella will take great care of them
Liany was truly a pleasure to have! I cannot say enough great things about how my dogs were loved and cared for . Liany also did an amazing job keeping me up to date with cute pictures too. To top it all off when I got home Liany had cleaned the floor too. Above and beyond is all I have to say and Wow!

FAQs for House Sitting - Lake Worth Corridor
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Lake Worth Corridor on Rover is $38.85 per night (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of June 2026, there are 2,611 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Lake Worth Corridor. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Lake Worth Corridor walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Lake Worth Corridor maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Lake Worth Corridor choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
