“Vicky was amazing with my dog. I need a walker last minute and she was not only willing to come she was excited to walk my dog. She was attentive, responsible, and truly cared about her work. She also took pictures along the way to show me his walk. Will be rebooking again.”

About: I'm an all animal loving former veterinary technician who recently came into a lot of free time. I would love to watch/walk/play with your furry friends and keep your mind at ease when you can't! I'm currently in between jobs so I have full daily/ nightly availability. I can likely come by for whatever preference you have. Super flexible! I'm very much obsessed with animals and treat them with the utmost respect. Animals tend to love me as well. I was a former Vet Tech and I have experience with administering medicine.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’ve raised and puppy-trained dogs, have experience with exotic animals, and understand that every pet is different. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I’m free all day Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Tuesdays and Fridays, I only work a short evening shift, and on weekends I work until about 4:30pm. That leaves me with lots of time to make sure your pet gets the attention, walks, and care they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My apartment community has a fenced dog park for safe outdoor play, along with plenty of sidewalks and green spaces for walks. While my apartment is on the smaller side, your pet will have lots of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and one on attention during their stay.
“Amazing working with Nana. Was very communicative and attentive. Was very responsible and responsive. Very kind and understanding of the needs of Celie and mine. I will definitely be using Nana again!”

“Andrea was very helpful and accommodating. We left our puppy with her while we did a couple's photo shoot, and she brought the dog back whenever we needed the dog in a photo with us. It went great!”

“Skyla is awesome! You can tell she truly cares about animals. She really put our minds at ease when we were out of town for the day, knowing our dogs would get a visit and a walk.”

“Auriel is so great- she is very communicative. I’m so glad I booked her, I trusted her fully with Moon, in my home. She’s so sweet , keeps me updated- will def book her again. Thanks so much Auriel.”

About: Hi friends! My name is Angelika 🤗 I've had an extensive amount of time with animals since I was a kid. Caring for my own family pets including snakes, lizards, cats, dogs and hamsters. I've always been happily willing to foster kittens and puppies who have been abandoned even at a very young age. All of which, have gone on to live healthy happy lives. As I've gotten older I've continued to foster any animal in need and more professionally take on pet sitting. While continuing to add my touch of love and compassion with each pet in my care. I'm currently working part time remotely so I have plenty of time to have engaging one on one time with your pet. This flexibility also allows me the opportunity to take same day requests. Pet care can vary per household and animal needs. I'm happy to follow any detailed directions provided to make sure I can guarantee a safe environment for the pet or pets. Taking special caution in entering and exiting homes, making sure all unsafe items for your pet are not accessible and generally keeping a comfortable environment for your pet(s).
About: Hi! I’m Stephanie, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, our home was always filled with dogs and cats, starting with my first pup, a Chihuahua, Spikey. Today, my best buddy is Cooper, my loyal sidekick who joins me on life’s adventures. I also help care for my family’s two senior dogs, Bentley and Petunia, along with our 20-year-old cat, Malfoy. Caring for pets through every stage of life—from playful puppies to senior companions—has taught me that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, giving medications when needed, and making sure your pets stay on their normal routine while you’re away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone else, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I own and manage a small business and work primarily from home, which gives me flexibility in my schedule and allows me to communicate quickly. My goal is simple: to treat every pet as if they were my own. Because I work predominantly from home, I enjoy getting outside for walks and love incorporating pet visits into my day. Whether your pet needs a midday potty break, an afternoon walk, or extra attention while you’re away, I’ll do my best to keep them on their normal routine. I value punctuality, communication, and making sure both you and your pet feel comfortable every step of the way. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, walking routines, and any special needs. During every visit, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh water, plenty of attention, and the care they’re used to receiving. I’ll also send photo updates if you would like and let you know how the visit went.
About: I have around 20 years of experience taking care of dogs and cats of all ages, including dogs with conditions such as dementia, incontinence, and semi-blindness. I have raised kittens and care for adult/senior cats. I understand that our fur babies are our family! My schedule is very flexible since I work part time in the hospitality industry. Weekdays and weekend availability, including daytime and nighttime. Regular or intermittent. I will go to client homes as my adult cats don't do well with new friends in our home. As I am part of a law enforcement family, rest assured there isn't a concern for your safety/trust, and I take my own safety/security very seriously.

I look forward to further discussing how to meet your pets needs. Being a kindergarten teacher, I have the ease and flexibility of weekends and all major holidays off. About: I’ve been a professional pet sitter for 8 years. I’ve taken care of dogs/cats of various size and medical conditions. I can administer various medications including fluids and insulin. I treat any animal with the same loving care I provide my own animals. I also bring in your mail/packages and can water any plants if needed. I’m available for you and your animal/animals 24/7 including holidays! I do work at a dog daycare part time but my schedule is flexible depending on your needs. I will follow any and all instructions regarding your home and animal/animals. I will provide a fun and loving visit while keeping safety in mind.
“Have no fear, the Jon Snow of dog walking is here. (For people who don’t know game of thrones, I’m saying Patrick is amazing.) This was the first and definitely not the last time I’ll use Patrick to watch Moon and Jeter. The amount of photos I received was enough to start my dog’s modeling portfolio. This man can also pivot like Dwayne Wade. The wife and I had some minor alterations to our trip and when I informed Patrick, he compensated beautifully and made everything work. If they ever start a dog walking hall of fame, Patrick has my vote!”

About: I’ve owned various animals almost my entire life, and have always jumped to help out family and friends when needed on their days out. Truly spending time with animals is a big joy of mine :)) I currently work full time during the week, but i’m free on weekends for over night sittings or just regular walks. Week night walks are great for me too :) I understand dogs can get a little rowdy sometimes but I will be very careful when playing, and keep my best to have them entertained and well fed :) I’ve always grown up with pets, one of my own being 18 years old and still kicking today! He is blind now but he’s still thriving and running around as if he were a baby. He truly is a big part of why i’m so fond of taking care of animals as he was my very first fur baby!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lake Worth Corridor
Eric was amazing with our two dogs - one large and small. We didn't know he had so much experience with dogs, including also being a dog handler! I guess I would call him a dog expert, as I learned more about dog behavior chatting with him even briefly!!! He knew exactly how to interact with our dogs each having their own personality. He was also great with our large dog who has a tendency to get anxious. Our dogs loved Eric and he was great with them! He walked, and played with them and I could see from the pictures they were happy and having fun!!! I will defiantly be booking him again. I highly recommend Eric for anyone wanting their dogs to be cared for well and to have peace of mind!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
