“I had an excellent experience with Christina! She sent me photos of my baby throughout the day so I would know he was alright. She and her husband were very kind to my dog and took the time to pet and comfort him. She has 2 very cute fur babies of her own to keep your dog company. I will definitely use Christina again in the future.”

About: Taking care of pups is one thing I could do forever. Where it’s my own or a family friend’s, they bring so much joy to my life. I take care of them, do walks, cuddle, bathe and swim with them. Basically anything I can do to spend time with them and make sure they know that they are loved. As a sitter, you will have peace of mind knowing that they are being loved and taken care of and I pride myself on that. I’ve had so many different experiences with all types of puppies and every single one lives in my heart. With that being said, their safety is extremely important to me and it’s my top priority over everything. Their impact in my life has always been so significant and I’ll always be grateful to have them around and I would love to meet new pups and create more memories. Currently I have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m available Monday through Thursday to play with your pups! Saturdays would be occasionally but I always try to make it work! I live in a safe neighborhood and my house is yard fenced! I have a 2 acres backyard where pups can have so much fun. I have a pup of my own name Archie who is a labradoodle. He’s super friendly and so playful so pups that enter into my home will have an extra furry friend!
About: I work from home so your pet will never be without attention. I have a big fenced in back yard and salt water pool that dogs love!! I live close to parks and walking trails, so it’s like sending your pup to summer camp 🏕️ I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, and I love getting to know each one. I spend time playing, watching, and listening, because every dog communicates differently. I’m quick to pick up on what they need. I’m loyal, consistent, and fully present. I work with puppies on basic training and pool safety, helping them build confidence early on. I also do water therapy for older dogs who need low-impact movement and have had great success helping manage and decrease their pain. Whether it’s training, playing, exercise, or just company, I focus on what’s best for each dog. My constant interaction and attentiveness toward each dogs individual needs sets me apart from others. I am willing to work with any and all requirements your dog may need. No request is too much, my goal is a sense of comfort and trust for all owners. I care for all animals as if they were my own, and I prioritize owners feeling confident that their pet is receiving the same care they would at home. Experience with senior dogs, rescue dogs, dog reactive dogs, and restricted breeds like pit bulls. I love having them all! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or additional needs/specific requirements! Working remote, I have the luxury of being home to focus on pet care. It is a part of my daily life, it's never something I squeeze in, it’s something I show up for. I plan my days around the animals I’m caring for and have no problem giving the time, attention, and consistency they need. Whether it’s early morning walks, mid-day play, consistent training, or quiet evening check-ins, I’m flexible and fully committed to their routine. I treat every home and every pet with care and respect. I follow the wishes of the owners and the pet’s routine closely so both you and your pet feel safe and secure, whether I’m staying in their space or welcoming them into mine. I keep environments calm, clean, and pet-proofed, and I’m adept at staying tuned to their body language and energy. I build trust by being present, consistent, and patient. Their safety and comfort come first, always.

“My puppies first Rover experience (& mine) was amazing! Will Anna & Irina were amazing! Updates throughout the day, I picked up Token and he was exhausted so you know he was kept busy and active all day! He’s been a lot more well behaved since I brought him home as well! He also smelt amazing 😂”

About: I’ve had pets in my life for multiple years! I’ve fostered both cats and dogs, as well as had my own dogs for many years. I’m experienced with senior dogs, and love any pet no matter activity level. PLEASE BE AWARE I do not currently drive or have access to a personal vehicle. As a result, I carefully limit my service area to locations I can consistently and reliably reach. I value clear communication and transparency, and I want pet owners to be aware of this when considering me for their pet care needs. I’m extremely detail oriented and will follow instructions to a T! I will make sure they have the best time with me. I am currently not working and always available so I will be able to give your dog all the care they need and give my full attention! I’m extremely detail oriented and follow instructions exactly. I’ll make sure that your pet gets optimal care and attention. Whether it’s administering medication, giving baths, or getting exercise, I do it all!
About: I have taken care of animals for 30+ years. My mother has always rescued and fostered so I began helping her at a young age. I have raise all types of animals with different needs and personalities and I love them all. Comfortable with cats dogs and exotic pets. I raised a pitbull for 14+ years who had prey drive. Trying to find a pet sitter for her was a nightmare. A lot of times I could not leave town because there was no one who I trusted enough to handle her. I worked with professional trainers to learn how to control her on walks, so I am comfortable watching pets with behavioral issues. I have experience with senior animals and those with health conditions that need extra love care and attention. I work part time and it’s only a few days a week. My shifts are flexible so if your pet has specific needs that require me to be with them for an extended amount of time I can accommodate that. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your pet to run and play. I have a pool if your pet likes to swim. I also have a fence around the pool to block your pet off if your pet is not a swimmer. All beds and couches are pet friendly in my house :) I keep all furniture covered with clean sheets which I usually change daily. I have 2 cats and a very friendly 18 year old dog named Marshall. If your pet is not friendly with others I have the means to safely separate the animals and rotate walks and playtime.

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and caring for them. I currently have a small senior dog, my sweet little baby (a Yorkie/Maltese mix), so I’m very familiar with daily care, patience, and paying attention to a pets individual needs. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and happy. I also helped care for another pet for about a month, where I kept the owner updated daily with photos and messages so they felt reassured their pet was safe and well cared for. They were very happy with the care and even asked me to watch their pet again. I enjoy going on walks and spending quality time playing with pets, but I also understand the importance of being gentle and patient - especially with older or more sensitive animals. I’m committed to treating every pet like family and providing a safe, loving, and reliable environment. Im generally available every day, including evenings and weekends (except Sunday 5-8pm), with most of my time open for walks, playtime, and pet care. I work part-time, but i always comunícate promptly to make sure your pets are cared for reliably. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable enviroment for all pets, whether in my home or theirs. Pets in my care are always supervised, given plenty of attention, and kept on their regular routines for feeding, walks, and playtime. I maintain a clean, safe enviroment and supervise pet closely to prevent them from getting into anything harmful. My own small senior dog has a sensitive stomach, so im used to keeping floors and accessible áreas free of any food or objects that could be dangreous. My goal is to make every pet feel loved, secure, and happy while they’re in my care.

About: My whole life there’s always been a furry member of my family. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. I’ve given medication when needed also very careful with reactive/timid dogs. I work part time so I’m free a majority of the time. Rover will be a fun addition to my schedule. My work allows me to adjust my schedule with any future bookings I may have. Si hablo español también 😌 The community I live in is fenced off from the main road. There is a dog friendly play area in my community as well which is where I plan to do any off leash activities, I like to make sure the play area is empty (usually is). I also have 2 small children in my home but they’ve been around dogs their whole lives so they know how to act with animals and how to treat them with respect

5-Star Review Yaniuska was absolutely amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My event ran late, and she was so kind and accommodating. I could tell my dog was genuinely happy and comfortable in her care—he would actually run to the door to see her, which he has never done before! 🥹❤️ They pampered him, treated him with so much kindness, and made him feel right at home. I’m so grateful to have found someone who cares for him so well. I cannot wait to book with Yaniuska again. Highly recommend! 🐾💕

Christina and her husband loved Andy like a member of their own family. They and their pups played with him a lot and he obviously had a great time, as evidenced by the photos and video that Christina sent. I’m so glad to have found such a caring person to care for Andy and I plan on bringing him for doggy day care again ! She has my highest recommendation.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Lake Worth Corridor commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
