“She’s excellent, very communicative, very passionate, friendly and she really seems to love what she does. I would definitely recommend her to family & friends !”

About: I am a dog owner for the last 7 years (female rescue, 50lbs, lab/retriever.) Before her, I had cats my whole life. My pup is a part of my family and I would treat yours with the same care and compassion. I work from home, live in a duplex and I have a backyard that is mostly fenced (your dog would stay on a leash back there), and I live right next to Dreher Park where we could go for walks 1-2 times/day. Let's do a meet and greet! I work full time from home, and have lots of flexibility for walks and pets. In the evening, we take walks in Dreher Park right next door. Life is quiet around here. No smoking. I'll be here with them all day and can take them to the backyard or for walks in the park. I have a 50lb rescue that has been described by boarders as an alpha female, so she may get barky at first but it ends there.
“Jonathan was always excellent with my dog! I got lots of pictures and videos throughout the day. Bella absolutely loved going and would run full speed into doggy day care. Thank so much for taking such great care of her!”

About: I have 2 years of experience as a dog walker and pet sitter in New York City, caring for dog of various breeds, I am experienced with daily walks, feeding routine, potty break, and providing calm, reliable care. I am also a former cat owner and I have care d for parrots. Since I was young, I have also cared for small animals such as birds, rabbits, hamsters, and turtles. This early experience helped me become comfortable and confident around animals and taught me responsibility and gentle handling from an early age. I genuinely love animals and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being while they are in my care. I currently work remotely, which allows me to provide flexible care throughout day and night. I am available for boarding, day care in a safe and calm environment. Clients are responsible for drop off and pick up at my home ;) I live in a safe HOA managed neighborhood with a quiet and clean home environment. I have a small fenced backyard and no children, creating a calm and secure space for pet.

“My dog enjoyed his stay with Martin and Susie, he had a lot of space to roam around both outside and inside and he had other doggies to play with that the day flew by for him! He slept on the entire drive home! I also loved the photo updates throughout the day! Thank you!”

“Alexandra is the best I mean the best dog sitter I have ever met in my life , I will definitely recommend her to anyone with a puppy . For the week she took care of my dog , has been a blessing and if I ever need her services again , 1000% I will be using her services she is amazing”

About: have lifelong experience caring for dogs, starting with growing up alongside a yellow Labrador, where I learned daily responsibilities like feeding, walking, bathing, and exercise routines. In addition, I’ve taken care of my girlfriend’s dog many times, including walks, feeding, and overnight care. This has helped me become comfortable with different personalities and behaviors, as well as following specific owner instructions closely. While I may not have professional kennel experience, I bring real, hands-on, consistent care experience that comes from years of personal responsibility with dogs. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give your dog consistent attention throughout the day. Because I live right on the intercoastal, I’m able to take frequent walks in a safe, scenic environment and easily incorporate regular outdoor time into my routine. Your dog won’t be left alone, and I’m able to adjust my day around their needs—whether that means extra walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or just companionship. I focus on making sure each dog feels comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away. I also provide updates so you can stay informed and at ease knowing your pet is in good hands I live in a large one bedroom apartment so your pet has plenty of room to roam and a very comfy couch to lay out on
“Lissette was fabulous. She has a wonderful shaded fenced in yard and a sweet dog for Levi to play with. After one play date, Levi will be back again. Thank you for sharing your home and positive energy with us. Cassandra & Levi”

“I am extremely grateful for Yamille! 🥹 At first I was worried having someone new take care of my puppy, Milo but after the first booking my worries went away. Yamille sent me a few videos of Milo and even took him on a walk, which reassured me since he seemed happy and relaxed with her. After a couple more bookings, Milo was even excited to see her! 😄 Thank you Yamille, I appreciate you 🩷”

About: My whole life there’s always been a furry member of my family. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. I’ve given medication when needed also very careful with reactive/timid dogs. I work part time so I’m free a majority of the time. Rover will be a fun addition to my schedule. My work allows me to adjust my schedule with any future bookings I may have. Si hablo español también 😌 The community I live in is fenced off from the main road. There is a dog friendly play area in my community as well which is where I plan to do any off leash activities, I like to make sure the play area is empty (usually is). I also have 2 small children in my home but they’ve been around dogs their whole lives so they know how to act with animals and how to treat them with respect
About: Ive trained my own dog since he was a puppy without assistance from trainers or family for the last 6 years, i also have plenty of experience being around large dogs such as german shepards or great danes, and helping friends by taking care of their pets Im free to be scheduled anytime, i typically keep my days free doing small odd jobs so im always available even for long stretches of time Within my own home i typically keep food readily available in case my dog is hungry due to his high activity nature. I feed pets based off their activiy for the day and letting them use their instincts to gauge how much they eat, i also keep everthing scheduled and at a minimum i walk my own dog 3 times a day with regular bathroom breaks in my backyard. In a clients home i am flexible to do things as they are set up to be
“It's our first time to send our golden, Mochi, to daycare and I was pleased during her stay with Nathalia. Nathalia made an effort to get to know Mochi. Mochi's a puppy so Nathalia knows the energy that Mochi requires and the amount of rest that she needed after her play. Nathalia has a good amount of space where Mochi can run around too. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be availing her services again :=)”

About: I work from home so your pet will never be without attention. I have a big fenced in back yard and salt water pool that dogs love!! I live close to parks and walking trails, so it’s like sending your pup to summer camp 🏕️ I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, and I love getting to know each one. I spend time playing, watching, and listening, because every dog communicates differently. I’m quick to pick up on what they need. I’m loyal, consistent, and fully present. I work with puppies on basic training and pool safety, helping them build confidence early on. I also do water therapy for older dogs who need low-impact movement and have had great success helping manage and decrease their pain. Whether it’s training, playing, exercise, or just company, I focus on what’s best for each dog. My constant interaction and attentiveness toward each dogs individual needs sets me apart from others. I am willing to work with any and all requirements your dog may need. No request is too much, my goal is a sense of comfort and trust for all owners. I care for all animals as if they were my own, and I prioritize owners feeling confident that their pet is receiving the same care they would at home. Experience with senior dogs, rescue dogs, dog reactive dogs, and restricted breeds like pit bulls. I love having them all! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or additional needs/specific requirements! Working remote, I have the luxury of being home to focus on pet care. It is a part of my daily life, it's never something I squeeze in, it’s something I show up for. I plan my days around the animals I’m caring for and have no problem giving the time, attention, and consistency they need. Whether it’s early morning walks, mid-day play, consistent training, or quiet evening check-ins, I’m flexible and fully committed to their routine. I treat every home and every pet with care and respect. I follow the wishes of the owners and the pet’s routine closely so both you and your pet feel safe and secure, whether I’m staying in their space or welcoming them into mine. Their safety and comfort come first, always.

5-Star Review Yaniuska was absolutely amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My event ran late, and she was so kind and accommodating. I could tell my dog was genuinely happy and comfortable in her care—he would actually run to the door to see her, which he has never done before! 🥹❤️ They pampered him, treated him with so much kindness, and made him feel right at home. I’m so grateful to have found someone who cares for him so well. I cannot wait to book with Yaniuska again. Highly recommend! 🐾💕

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
