I have a young Australian Shepherd who needs a lot of exercise and stimulation and he loved his stay at Camp Caitlin! She was very thorough in understanding his needs and routines in order to keep him safe and happy during his stay and keep the transition as low-stress as possible. We also did a meet and greet ahead of booking so I could see where my pup would be staying which was very comforting. She sent pictures and communicated with me everyday and truly treated my dog as her own. 10/10 would book with her again, for long stays, daycare, walks and everything in between. About: I’ve owned various animals almost my entire life, and have always jumped to help out family and friends when needed on their days out. Truly spending time with animals is a big joy of mine :)) I currently work full time during the week, but i’m free on weekends for over night sittings or just regular walks. I have owned dogs that were extremely abused and were aggressive. I am able to respect their boundaries and create an environment that is supportive and nurturing. I also have experience with medically needy dogs. I have no issues administering medication, whether orally or with injections. One of my senior rescues that recently passed required medication every 8 hours and eye drops multiple times daily. She was aggressive and never took them without a fight but I found a way to ensure she got the care she needed to live a long and comfortable life. My current two Shih Tzus are younger. I have taken them to training and worked extensively on socializing them. I work from home so I am always available to take care of dogs. I can offer plenty of play time, potty breaks and constant supervision. I have a fenced yard. Dogs are always supervised when they go outside. I have rescued for many years. I have extensive experience with medically needy dogs and dogs with behavioral issues. Keeping the dogs safe is my number one priority. My schedule gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I’m free all day Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Tuesdays and Fridays, I only work a short evening shift, and on weekends I work until about 4:30pm. That leaves me with lots of time to make sure your pet gets the attention, walks, and care they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My apartment community has a fenced dog park for safe outdoor play, along with plenty of sidewalks and green spaces for walks. While my apartment is on the smaller side, your pet will have lots of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and one on attention during their stay.

About: I grew up with cats, dogs, birds, bearded dragons, and snakes in my home, along with random outdoor critters that my mom would find and nurture back to health! I love spending time with almost all animals (sorry fish, not you), and I am on this app to connect with local animal lovers and help out the community while I work from home! I feel bad for animals that have to stay home alone all day while their human goes to work, I'd rather they be my coworkers! At least their drama is related to sniffing butts, scratching stuff, and treats, not office politics and squabbles. I work from home 4-5 days per week and love when I can take a break and snuggle with a furball or go for a stroll with a doggo! Nothing better for stress relief than that! Including for the four legged friend! At my place I have a good fenced in yard with a pool. If at your place, it's pretty much the same drill - I'll work for a couple hours at a time and take a break to spend time with the little guy/girl. I'm a fan of pets and playtime with treats (if permissable), a way for me and the buds to stretch our legs and our minds. It's not good for anyone to be cooped up for too long! A little fresh air goes a long way! I even carry my cat out to the patio at least once a day to squint at the sun and scout for lizards/leaves/wind blowing

I have a young Australian Shepherd who needs a lot of exercise and stimulation and he loved his stay at Camp Caitlin! She was very thorough in understanding his needs and routines in order to keep him safe and happy during his stay and keep the transition as low-stress as possible. We also did a meet and greet ahead of booking so I could see where my pup would be staying which was very comforting. She sent pictures and communicated with me everyday and truly treated my dog as her own. 10/10 would book with her again, for long stays, daycare, walks and everything in between.
