Longtime dog mom with lots of love
I was a dog mom to my sweet pup for nearly 17 years, so I have experience caring for dogs through every stage of life—from energetic younger years to the extra patience and attention that comes with being a senior. As he got older, I became especially comfortable with senior-dog care, including administering medications (and getting creative when someone decided he was suddenly an expert at finding pills hidden in treats!). After almost 17 years together, losing him was incredibly hard, and I decided I wasn’t ready to have another dog of my own. But I absolutely still love being around them. Pet sitting gives me the chance to get my dog fix, give lots of love and attention, and then happily return your baby back to you. ❤️ As a pet parent myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else. I’ll treat your pup with the same care, patience and affection I gave my own—and I’m happy to follow their normal routines so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away.

De’Andra is such a loving and compassionate person. I saw firsthand her genuine compassion for pups, and she has always cared for my Luna as if she were her own. I had the pleasure of knowing her prior to her pup’s passing, and I saw how much joy they brought each other over the many years they shared. I know she’ll care for my pup with that same love, patience, and dedication. There is no one I trust more, and I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work from home full time, so your pup will have plenty of company throughout the day! My schedule allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, attention and walks based on your dog’s normal routine. I’m happy to adjust to what they’re used to at home—whether that means several short outings, longer walks or plenty of time relaxing nearby while I work.

My home has tile flooring downstairs and a fully fenced backyard, giving pups plenty of space for safe potty breaks and outdoor time. I also live in a gated community with lots of room for walks and a small neighborhood dog park. Most importantly, your pup will be treated like a member of the family while they’re here. ❤️
A typical day
Since I work from home full time, your pup will have plenty of company throughout the day! A typical day includes morning, lunchtime, afternoon and evening walks or potty breaks, with additional outings anytime they need them. Between walks, there’s plenty of time for play, backyard breaks, naps and attention while I work. My husband is also a dog lover and is happy to help with walks, playtime or running around with pups who have a little more energy to burn. We have a fenced backyard, and our gated community has lots of space for longer walks and exploring. I’m also happy to adjust our day around your dog’s usual schedule—I want their stay to feel as much like home as possible.

- Tell me anything that will help me get to know your pup! I’d especially like to know their normal routine, personality, favorite things, feeding schedule, medications, triggers or fears, and how they typically do around other dogs and people. I’d also appreciate knowing if your dog tends to be especially vocal or bark frequently. It’s not a deal breaker at all—I work from home, so it’s just helpful to know ahead of time. And of course, tell me all their little quirks! The more I know about what makes your pup happy and comfortable, the better. 🐾
