We will love your dog like our own!
My husband, Steve, and I have had 19 cats and dogs in our 42 years of marriage. We have loved each and everyone as our pet children. We lost our last rescue Dachshund, Bella 9/2025. We have two cats, Happy and Peanut, who we raised from day one, when their feral mom left them outside. We do not walk your dog because we live on 1/4 acre fully fenced yard where your dog is free to run around like in a dog park. We are conveniently located 5 minutes from PBIA. We keep our furniture covered so the pets can sit next to us, and they are allowed on the bed. We donate 5% of the money we make each year to Dezzy's Second Chance Dog Rescue where we adopted our latest pet, Fudge from.

Cinnamon was so happy with Heidi and Steve. I enjoyed looking at the pictures and I was happy to hear he ate all is food.
Heidi and Steve have a great yard for dogs - large and fully fenced. We always loved seeing the photos they would provide daily of our dog in the yard and around the house. They were very accommodating with drop off and pick up times and seemed to really understand the needs of the different dogs. Our dog, Little, seemed very happy with her home away from home. We highly recommend Heidi and Steve.
my dog was very happy. He got lots of snuggle time and got to play out in the yard with the other dogs. Would definitely use them again. They were great with communication and sending photos.
Heidi and Steve are the best! They send great photo and video updates and treat my dog like their own. I know he is going to be well cared for when he is there and it makes my trips easier because I don’t have to worry!
Very happy with Heidi and Steve caring for Fiona. They have a beautiful house and fenced property with beautiful greenery and a lanai like patio that the dogs can hang out in. Heidi is very conscientious with sending me photos, updates and replied to my texts promptly. I believe that Fiona had a wonderful stay with Heidi and Steve and will not hesitate to book them again
It was a pleasure leaving Lex with Heidi & Steve. They're kind enough to send photos every day and Lex looked happy & calm in each photo. I had no anxiety whatsoever leaving Lex with Heidi & Steve for 10 days and I'm confident that if he could talk, he'd only have the best things to say about Heidi & Steve. I've had many dog sitters over the years. Heidi & Steve are the best. I highly recommend them.

Schedule
Steve and I are both retired from AT&T. One of us is always home, unless we have a doctor appointment or when we go to Church once a week. My brother, Scott, also lives in our cottage and he is always willing to watch the doggies if we have to go out. We never leave our pets out in our fenced yard alone and we keep the gates locked. My husband is a movie buff so he is always available to hold down the couch with a buddy sitting next to him!

Steve and I live in Vista Encanto which is one mile from downtown WPB and 5 minutes from PBIA. We live on a 1/4 acre fenced in lot on a cul-de-sac. We have crates available if you want your doggy crated at night, otherwise they are welcome to sleep in our bed or their own bed.
Pets
A typical day
I wake up and give our pets their medications and then feed them. Then it is outside to pee and poop and run about under guidance. Then Steve or I spend the day playing or sitting with our pets and yours.
