“Bri was absolutely incredible caring for my sweet girl Molly. She took her in for a month and a half on very short notice, she was always reachable by phone throughout Molly’s stay, and went above and beyond when Molly sustained a slight injury, picking up liquid bandage and some pain medication. I returned home to a very happy dog and Bri gave me some photos to take with me. I would definitely book with her again and 10/10 recommend her.”

“I cannot sing Priscilla’s praises enough. She was absolutely amazing with my pup. Keep me updated on everything while I was on vacation. Literally treated my dog as if she was family. Priscilla is absolutely amazing and I will be booking her again when I go on my next trip. Highly recommend!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets of all kinds since I was very young. Growing up in a family that always had a dog around, and taking care of family and neighbors pets while they were on vacation has given me a lot of experience. As an adult, I’ve always had pets of my own. I currently work full time as a teacher, and I will take dogs for a walk in the morning before leaving to work. I am usually home at 3:15 pm, easily providing them another break as soon as I get home. During the summer and on holidays, I am home all day. I live in a townhouse without a fenced yard, but I provide walks to the animals I am carrying for every 2-3 hours. I can also accommodate small pets that are used to using a wee wee pad. I have plenty of room inside for pets to play.
“Incredibly kind, professional, and efficient! Liannis's communication has been amazing and her pictures are so sweet and thoughtful. I wouldn't hesitate to have my dog stay with her again.”

“If I could give Carolina 10 stars I would! she cared for my precious Frank wonderfully, amazing is an understatement. she updated me with pictures, videos and let me know how he was doing, he was so loved and I felt so relaxed knowing he was in great hands. I will use her service again 100%.”
“Jennafer took excellent care of our extremely rambunctious husky and our special needs dog. I have never felt more comfortable with a pet sitter for this high maintenance duo. I highly recommend Jennafer and we will be back as much as possible. She sends great pictures too!”

“THE SWEETEST FAMILY. Ranya and her family were INCREDIBLE with our 2 furry babies. She was communicative, sent photos and videos, kept me updated daily, and the best of all she was SO SWEET AND LOVING TO THEM! I could easily see her love for them! 💞 She also took them to the groomers for me as I requested. Her son played with them and my dogs got along with her sweet dog. I felt super safe and confident in them taking care of my babies as we traveled. This was an amazing 1st experience with Ranya and we will go back to her for sure. Thank you so so so much for your care and love with our dogs!”

About: I have worked with and been around all kinds of pets my entire life. I have owned many different kinds of dogs including high energy breeds. My father uses cocker spaniels, brittanys, and labradors to hunt. When he wasn't hunting with them, I trained and took care of them. We even bred out labradors. I also have a good amount of experience with cats and a great deal of experience with horses. I know horses have nothing to do with this, BUT if I can take care of a half ton heard animal I can definitely handle your high energy doodle! At the moment, I am very free to take care of your pet everyday. Once a day tues-sun i have to go to the barn to ride my horses. I wont be gone more than 4 hours to do that. My days will get busier around fall and I am occasionally away at horse shows. I live in a cozy yet spacious apartment. Kept organized and clean. Perfect for cats or the mild energy dog. I dont have a fenced yard so if your dog needs free range that is something i cant provide day to day. But I can always bring them to dog parks or sniff spots if that is something you would like. I can provide twice daily walks or more if needed. *********IMPORTANT: My dog (Luca) is susceptible to parasites, especially giardia. He is on preventative and has all his vaccinations , but I cannot allow or take on UNVACCINATED or UNPROTECTED pets. I can’t take a dog that is showing any signs or symptoms of a parasite or other illness. If your dog is vomiting or has loose stool and diarrhea, please contact your vet because they could be a great danger to others they may encounter. Please make sure your dog is perfectly healthy before requesting any kind of boarding. Please be responsible, truthful, and honorable when booking sitting or boarding for your dog. Thank you! ***********
“This is my second time having Ella board with Maritza and I am never worried about her wellbeing. Ella came back brushed, in her pictures and videos she always looked happy. With work travel, it gives me great comfort knowing Ella is always in great hands. Thank you!”

“I could not have found a more perfect for both myself and my dog. While on a very arduous trip away, any concerns I may have usually had regarding him being boarded, were alleviated by the nurturing and care he received during his stay. He enjoyed his “new family” so much, I worried he may not have wanted to leave to go home! My boy will be returning to hang out with his buddies before too long!”

“Ms. Deysi has been so caring to my pet. I booked her for 3 days during my stay at Florida. She has been very very cooperative on timing, sharing the time to time status and all other things if there is any concern. She is very easy going person. I will always book her for my pet when I visit that place again. I will recommend her to everyone who needs a good care of their pets. Thanks..”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and especially love dogs. I have a friendly shih-tzu/maltese mix 4 year old dog who loves having guests over! I have been dog sitting for family pets for over 5 years as well and cannot wait to meet yours! In my house is me, my husband & toddler son who also love having pets in the house Working from home and having a dog means I already have a routine for walking my dog 3 times a day and letting him out to play or potty in the backyard 2 times a day. It also gives me flexibility to adjust my routine as needed for other visiting pets. I am happy to accommodate with the pet parent to make the pet as comfortable a possible and keep their routine. I have a big backyard with a closed in fence and will never leave your pet unattended. My pup will make sure to keep yours company as well. I have extra dog beds around the house and an happy to keep them in my office while working so they feel safe.
“Amazing service provided. The daily pictures and updates that Ms.Sheree provided was proof that my dog was super comfortable and extremely happy with her.”

“Mary was the best dog sitter I have ever had. I went out of the country for a week and she updated me pictures or my dog the whole time. I now am friends with her, she is an angel! Please book Mary!”

“Rachel took great care of our dogs and was patient with their specific needs. She had great communication and regularly send us updates and pictures. Definitely recommend.”

“As usual our babies had a great time with their second mother Rose. This time they were there for an extend period of time as we traveled through Europe. They were so well taken care of and always so happy to go on their own awesome vacation. Thank you Rose again for taking such good care of them!”

“My dog stayed with Caitlin in her home for almost 10 days and she did a wonderful job. I have a young Australian Shepherd who needs a lot of exercise and stimulation and he loved his stay at Camp Caitlin! She was very thorough in understanding his needs and routines in order to keep him safe and happy during his stay and keep the transition as low-stress as possible. We also did a meet and greet ahead of booking so I could see where my pup would be staying which was very comforting. She sent pictures and communicated with me everyday and truly treated my dog as her own. 10/10 would book with her again, for long stays, daycare, walks and everything in between. As a very attached dog -mom, I would always recommend!!”

We scheduled with Tamara on short notice for boarding. Tamara did such an amazing job being attentive to our English bulldog, making every effort to ensure he was comfortable, fed, and loved. We are so grateful for Tamara’s attention to detail and dedication. We are 100% using her again. This was a special experience! Thank you Tamara!!

Sucel took such wonderful care of our Goose while we were away. She treated him like her own, and we came home to a happy, well-loved pup. We are so grateful for her kindness and care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pet. Thank you, Sucel! ❤️

As always, Franklin takes wonderful care of our Joey and treats him as a member of his family while we are away. He sends frequent photos and videos so that we know Joey is having fun and is not stressed. Joey is taken on walks including off-lease dog park time and also sleeps on Franklin's bed, allowing time for lots of snuggles. Joey definitely has a home away from home when he stays with Franklin and we appreciate it so very much!

Highly recommend Renee! I was nervous about leaving my pup for a few days, but she was incredibly attentive and kept me updated with constant videos and pictures. She even took him out for exercise and watched a movie with him. I went on a trip, and honestly, I think my dog had a better time than I did 😂. I'll definitely be booking with her again!

Isabella was a pleasure to work with! She sent me pictures and videos updates daily while my Doberman boarded with her. She handles the medication / care instructions really well, she’s a great communicator and very responsive. I would highly recommend booking with Isabella and I certainly entrust her with the care of my dogs moving forward!

Carolina took exceptional care of my two dogs! My fur babies are very different, with one being a puppy and the other of advanced years. She stayed in contact with exploring what the dogs like and sent pictures a couple of times per day! She addressed the issue of one not eating and even cooked her meals she liked! Her home is lovely and accommodates all types of 4 legged fur babies!!! I know my dogs enjoyed theirs visit and I know they look forward to spending time with her again!!!
We had such a great experience with Koda’s stay! Angeles cared for him in her home for a few days, and I truly appreciated the level of attention and communication she provided. Her communication was truly top tier: responsive, thoughtful, and consistent from start to finish. I loved receiving daily pictures along with updates, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was safe, happy, and being well looked after. Koda seemed comfortable and well cared for when I picked him up, which says everything. I would absolutely trust her to watch him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful sitter.

Bri was wonderful boarding our 2 month old kitten, Milo, in her home. She sent pictures, videos and updates several times a day. Leaving him was so hard because we had never been away from him since we found him at 8 days old in a box by a dumpster. She followed all of our instructions and alleviated our concerns about leaving him. Milo warmed up to his new environment and enjoyed playing with her kitties and doggies. I would definitely use Bri again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
