“I cannot recommend Laritza enough. We were in an incredibly stressful situation when our dog suddenly started a severe back pain crisis just days before our trip. He suffers from intermittent episodes that can cause him to lose mobility in his back legs, and unfortunately his condition worsened after we had already left the country. Our original sitter requested that he be transferred on the second day while we were already overseas, and we were extremely worried and heartbroken. Thankfully, Laritza stepped in and accepted him on very short notice — and from that moment on, she treated him like her own baby. She was patient, compassionate, attentive, and gave him the care, comfort, and love he needed during a very vulnerable time. She kept us updated, made us feel reassured despite being far away, and truly went above and beyond. When we picked him up, not only was he happy and comfortable, but he had already started recovering mobility in his back legs, which meant the world to us. About: I’ve taken care of pets of all kinds since I was very young. Growing up in a family that always had a dog around, and taking care of family and neighbors pets while they were on vacation has given me a lot of experience. As an adult, I’ve always had pets of my own. I currently work full time as a teacher, and I will take dogs for a walk in the morning before leaving to work. I am usually home at 3:15 pm, easily providing them another break as soon as I get home. During the summer and on holidays, I am home all day. I live in a townhouse without a fenced yard, but I provide walks to the animals I am carrying for every 2-3 hours. I can also accommodate small pets that are used to using a wee wee pad. “Bri was wonderful boarding our 2 month old kitten, Milo, in her home. She sent pictures, videos and updates several times a day. Leaving him was so hard because we had never been away from him since we found him at 8 days old in a box by a dumpster. I live in a townhouse without a fenced yard, but I provide walks to the animals I am carrying for every 2-3 hours. I can also accommodate small pets that are used to using a wee wee pad. I have plenty of room inside for pets to play.

“I cannot recommend Laritza enough. We were in an incredibly stressful situation when our dog suddenly started a severe back pain crisis just days before our trip. He suffers from intermittent episodes that can cause him to lose mobility in his back legs, and unfortunately his condition worsened after we had already left the country. Our original sitter requested that he be transferred on the second day while we were already overseas, and we were extremely worried and heartbroken. Thankfully, Laritza stepped in and accepted him on very short notice — and from that moment on, she treated him like her own baby. She was patient, compassionate, attentive, and gave him the care, comfort, and love he needed during a very vulnerable time. She kept us updated, made us feel reassured despite being far away, and truly went above and beyond. When we picked him up, not only was he happy and comfortable, but he had already started recovering mobility in his back legs, which meant the world to us. “Maritza is number 1! I've tried about 5 sitters locally on Rover now. All had rave, five-star ratings. For our Athena, Maritza's home is by far the best. Maritza is caring, detail oriented, loves dogs immensely and I could go on for page after page. One absolutely unique factor is the large, well-tended and park-like lawn. I should correct that actually. Many dog parks around here are smaller than her lawn. If your dog likes space to run and play, I can't imagine there are many, if any, better options. Bottom line? We will no longer board Athena anywhere else if Maritza is available. Stop looking and choose her.”
About: I have worked with and been around all kinds of pets my entire life. I have owned many different kinds of dogs including high energy breeds. My father uses cocker spaniels, brittanys, and labradors to hunt. When he wasn't hunting with them, I trained and took care of them. We even bred out labradors. I also have a good amount of experience with cats and a great deal of experience with horses. I know horses have nothing to do with this, BUT if I can take care of a half ton heard animal I can definitely handle your high energy doodle! At the moment, I am very free to take care of your pet everyday. Once a day tues-sun i have to go to the barn to ride my horses. I wont be gone more than 4 hours to do that. My days will get busier around fall and I am occasionally away at horse shows. I live in a cozy yet spacious apartment. Kept organized and clean. Perfect for cats or the mild energy dog. I dont have a fenced yard so if your dog needs free range that is something i cant provide day to day. But I can always bring them to dog parks or sniff spots if that is something you would like. I can provide twice daily walks or more if needed. *********IMPORTANT: My dog (Luca) is susceptible to parasites, especially giardia. He is on preventative and has all his vaccinations , but I cannot allow or take on UNVACCINATED or UNPROTECTED pets. I can’t take a dog that is showing any signs or symptoms of a parasite or other illness. If your dog is vomiting or has loose stool and diarrhea, please contact your vet because they could be a great danger to others they may encounter.
