I love BIG dogs and specialize in big dog care! What sets me apart is the depth of my experience and the level of care I provide especially to larger breeds that often have special accommodation needs. I’ve spent over 25 years caring for pets of all kinds — from neonatal pups, to playful puppies to senior dogs with special needs. I’m comfortable with administering medications, maintaining consistent routines, and giving extra patience and attention where it’s needed most. Feel free to book your Danes and other big pups with me because they are my faves and will have a fabulous and curated experience. Because of my background, I treat each pet like family, not just a client. I know how important it is for you to feel your pets are safe, loved, and cared for just as you would. Whether it’s daily walks, cuddle time, or keeping to a specific feeding or medication schedule, I bring reliability, compassion, and a calm presence that helps pets feel secure while you’re away. **Please note: This is a private home and I currently have no pets. I do not have any crates or kennels as visiting dogs typically free roam my home like our own would. If you prefer a crate for your pup to sleep in, please bring one for your Pup's stay. **Please also note: - I cannot care for cats due to a severe cat allergy - Same-day bookings may incur a minimum $30 fee. - Doggy Daycare requests with earlier than 8a dropoff and/or later than 6p pickup may incur extended hours fees. (For Boardings): - Certain breeds who shed a lot I may ask permission to brush in our yard during the stay. - Heavy shedders may incur a $35 fee towards cleanup.

Gema has a nice home and furnishings for dog boarding and day care. Wrigley was the only dog under Gema's care today and he obviously had a nice time with her. We would us Gema for future engagements.
Gema took amazing care of my dog Nori for a long weekend. Highly recommend! Very communicative the entire time and made nori feel right at home.

We were very pleased with how Gema took care of Luca (95 lb. Lab). Gema cared for Luca during the holiday week and had a toy for him. I’ll definitely use Gema again for our dog boarding and highly recommend Gema for boarding or house sitting your dog.

Schedule
I work from home and am available daily for client needs. Message me for scheduling details and or special availability requests. I am happy to accommodate. For the stay please provide: - Pup's favorite or usual food - Pup's bowls - Pup's bedding or blanket - Pup's favorite toy Please note there may be a $30+ fee applied per pet for same day bookings.

I have a private, fenced yard for free play as well and a very dog-friendly, safe home with designated pup play areas! I do not have any pets of my own in-home so your precious pooch or pups will rule the roost!
A typical day
I love tailoring activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. I have an appropriate adventure for every puo! For dogs who enjoy the outdoors, I’ll take them on safe neighborhood walks, play fetch or run in the yard, or have fun with toys that keep them active and engaged. For senior pets or more mellow companions, I make sure they get gentle exercise, plenty of cuddle time, and mental stimulation through enrichment games. I also enjoy incorporating basic training reinforcement (like sit, stay, or leash manners) into playtime if that’s something you’d like. My goal is to keep pets happy, active, and relaxed — and to send you lots of picture updates so you can see how much fun they’re having! Also let me know if your pets is or isn't allowed at dog parks or beaches, happy to take them on an adventure of they're amenable!
