I am laid up with a fractured knee, and Jeff has been taking my 82 pound golden retriever Mia on a rigorous, very long walk every afternoon. Mia is getting such good exercise, and wags her tail excitedly every time she sees Jeff coming down the front walk. I am so grateful Jeff is a dog walker!

About: I work from home with a flexible schedule. My experience fostering dogs, along with raising service dog puppies, means I’m well-versed in handling different breeds and temperaments, plus obedience and socialization. When I’m not fostering, I will board in my home. However I will only board one dog at a time — so yours gets my full attention, constant supervision, and lots of companionship. Also, I just really love dogs! With a flexible work-from-home schedule, I can easily fit in walks or drop-in visits whenever needed. When boarding, your pup gets frequent potty breaks and plenty of playtime throughout the day — never left waiting too long When I board, your pup joins a comfortable, consistent routine — feeding, walks, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. I also have two playful dogs of my own and a fully fenced backyard, so your pup will have friendly playmates and plenty of safe space to run and burn off energy. For walks and drop-in visits, I can come to your home and work around your dog’s normal routine, making sure they get the exercise, attention, and potty breaks they need while you’re away.

About: I provide loving, personal care for your pet. I love animals of all kinds, and have had them all my life. I love to play and walk dogs, and treat them as if they are my own. I have a safe, fenced large yard and only take dogs on flea and tick control , non aggressive, and up to date on their shots, for the safety of my dog and others I care for. I can take dogs up to 25 pounds. I have been dog sitting for many years and can provide excellent references if needed. I require a meet and greet, to get to know your dog and for your personal assurance that I am the sitter for your needs. I also can accomodate dogs with special needs and other pets. A nightly stay is a 24 hour period, late pickups over an hour will incur a day fee for that day. This is so i can stay on a schedule for other appointments. Hope to meet your furry family member soon!!

About: Hi, I am currently a nursing student at UNR! I have had dogs my whole life so I understand the commitment and responsibility it takes to have a dog. I have a small dog currently who I rescued about 5 years ago. She was abandoned at a dog boarding place :,(. I will respect any training regimens you have in place! I love dogs and understand them so dogsitting is truly enjoyable for me. I can provide recommendations as needed! I understand it can be hard to trust people with your precious pets so let me know if there’s anything I can do to ease your mind! I am a student at Orvis nursing school, UNR which means I have classes and a 13 hr clinical shift on Fridays. I try not to schedule on Fridays unless owners are aware of my schedule. I will be fully upfront with you about my availability and how it interacts with your pet’s needs! Message me for clarification or questions! I have a fenced yard with lots of squirrels to chase and pet safe plants! I have a little dog who is friendly but not always energetic. I’ve never had any issues with pet sitting other dogs with her but if they interact, I’d like for them to meet beforehand. At your home I will of course respect any rules you have for me or your dogs. My dog does not need to come with me. I have raised dogs and understand the importance to maintain training regimens so I can do that. However, it is not my place to enforce these if you have not asked, I will respect the way you raise your fur baby!

About: I am that girl at the party who will gravitate towards the dog/cat in the room. I come from an animal loving family and grew up with dogs since I was an infant. I am a mama to a Yorkshire terrier and German Shepherd but I know how to cater to all breeds. I have cared for Golden, Labrador & Nova Scotian Duck Tolling Retrievers, Poodles, Doodles, American Staffordshire, Terriers, Pug, Dachshund, Husky, Maltese to name a few, American Shorthair, Ragdoll, and Tabby cats, along with their home, while they are away. I make sure dogs get their daily walk, daily ball and daily meals. I also keep up with their cleanliness, brushing and wiping them down. For cats, I will ensure a clean and full litter box, fresh water and food. In the home, I'll make sure to grab your mail, take out the trash, wash dishes I've used, vacuum, water plants, and start a load of bedding before I go. Please consider me to take care of your furry friend's needs! I work from home part time which allows me to dedicate more time to one of my passions, animal care. I will usually go home on weekdays at lunch time to grab a bite and let out my dogs. I will make it seem as though you are still in the room, giving your pet the love and attention they need...no matter how slobbery they are.

About: Currently only accepting bookings within Jupiter and nearby areas. Thank you for understanding! 💛 I’ve cared for animals my whole life, dogs, cats, puppies, seniors, and even pets with special needs. I’ve adopted and rescued over 10 animals, including many strays in vulnerable conditions, so I’m very familiar with different temperaments, behaviors, and medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, keeping up with feeding routines, and giving each pet the individual care they need to feel safe and loved. What sets me apart is the genuine bond I create with animals, I treat every pet like they’re my own!! Right now I’m not working full-time, so pet care fits beautifully into my current routine. I’m home most of the day and genuinely enjoy the company of animals, they bring me joy, comfort, and a sense of purpose. Taking care of pets isn’t just something I do for extra income. It’s something I truly care about and take seriously. I treat every pet as if they were my own, always prioritizing their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being. I’m mindful of routines, feeding instructions, and any special needs, and I take the time to make them feel safe and relaxed. I’m respectful of the space and always follow instructions closely to ensure both the pet and their parents feel at ease.

About: Hi there! I’m a proud dog parent to a sweet female Cocker Spaniel who’s been part of my family since June 2025. She’s playful, affectionate, and full of personality, caring for her has taught me so much about patience, consistency, and how to make dogs feel happy and secure. I also dog-sit my in-laws’ Maltese-Shih Tzu from time to time, so I’m comfortable with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Whether it’s a social butterfly or a more laid-back pup, I always adjust to what makes each dog feel most at ease. I currently work from home most of the time, which means I’m around throughout the day to give your pup plenty of attention, supervision, and walks. My community has lots of grassy areas that are perfect for quick potty breaks, strolls, or playtime. It’s a calm, pet-friendly environment where dogs can feel relaxed and safe. (I live in a two-level townhouse, which allows me to separate dogs if needed, whether for feeding, rest time, or just to help a shy pup feel comfortable.)

About: Provide attentive, compassionate care for dogs and cats, including walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and in-home visits. Focused on creating a safe, calm, and positive experience for both pets and owners through reliable communication and personalized care. As a pet owner myself to Piper the cat and Sawyer, my Golden Retriever, I understand how important trust, consistency, and genuine care are when choosing someone to look after your pets. I provide dependable, personalized care for dogs and cats through overnight stays, drop-in visits, and dog walks. Whether your pet needs a walk, a feeding visit, playtime, or overnight care, I strive to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. For overnight stays, care includes evening and morning feeding and walks, and overnight supervision. Please note that overnight care does not include 24-hour constant presence, as I leave during the day for personal errands, appointments, or other scheduled pet care visits. Additional drop-in visits or midday walks can be arranged if your pet requires extra attention during the day. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of trust, communication, and reliable care. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and to provide you with peace of mind through regular updates and communication.

Chiara was wonderful! She was flexible, always punctual and my Chloe loved her. Chiara didn't just come to give Chloe a "walk" and then leave. She was genuinely concerned for Chloe's comfort - like if it was hot outside, she would make sure they had plenty of shade so that Chloe's paws didn't get burned. And Chiara always made Chloe take a water break on every walk. I highly recommend Chiara and will use her again!

Jeff has been a life-saver for me. I just had foot surgery and needed to stay off of my foot. I didn't know what to do with my very shy and protective dog who pulls when walking. I found Jeff on Rover and he connected with my dog, Francie, in such a beautiful way! Jeff is calm and peaceful and Francie goes right to him. Jeff IS ALWAYS on time, and always shows up with a smile, ready for a nice walk. Additionally, Jeff helped me navigate through "Rover" app as I am a first-time user. I HIGHLY recommend Jeff - and so does my dog, Francie!

Long review but I promise it’s worth the read. Iv had my dogs for over 15 years and I frequently drove 150 miles one way for boarding because once I find someone I trust with my dogs I don’t want to make changes. Unfortunately that dog sitter moved to South Carolina and I did drive there once for a longer stay but it just wasn’t feasible in the long run. So when I moved to Jupiter 18 months ago I found Bill and we aren’t letting go of him either. Bill is an exceptional dog walker who goes far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. He truly sees each dog’s personality, reads them, and meets them exactly where they are. My Lily is notoriously human-selective, and Bill earned her trust with patience, intuition, and genuine respect for her boundaries. He is reliable, punctual, and deeply attentive to my dogs’ individual needs, and he even brings his own well-researched, healthy treats. When he noticed my gate needed fixing, he didn’t just point it out — he fixed it. When my dog Emma was battling cancer and struggling with the threshold, Bill helped me make my house more accessible so she could move comfortably. His care extends far beyond walks; he asked to be there when I had to put Emma to sleep so he could hold my second dog and allow me to focus fully on Emma. That level of compassion is rare and unforgettable. Bill also volunteers with dog rescues and has rescued several dogs himself, which shows in everything he does. He is available not just for regular scheduled walks, but in emergencies or when I manage to plan something joyful for myself, and I trust him completely

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Jupiter. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
