We highly recommend Heather because she loved and treated our dogs as we would.”

“Maddison came over during the day to walk our new puppy after meeting up the evening before. She was prompt and our puppy loved her. She sent photos during the walk and a description of the dog’s activities. She was great. Can’t wait to use her again.”

“Chiara was wonderful! She was flexible, always punctual and my Chloe loved her. Chiara didn't just come to give Chloe a "walk" and then leave. She was genuinely concerned for Chloe's comfort - like if it was hot outside, she would make sure they had plenty of shade so that Chloe's paws didn't get burned. And Chiara always made Chloe take a water break on every walk. I highly recommend Chiara and will use her again!”

“Elise did a great job taking care of Teddy and jumping in when we were in need of a dog walker in a very short notice. She also was able to jump in and help with giving Teddy his medicine. We highly recommend her!”

About: I have 30 plus years of experience with dog handling and training. I have worked with several rescues as an evaluator, foster, and transport (often with last chance dogs) A few of the non- profits I have worked with are Pets for Vets, American Bulldog Rescue, and Final Frontier Rescue. In our home we believe in positive reinforcement and work & reward with lots of playtime and social behavior. I will that philosophy to your home. I am currently able to walk your buddy and come to you for drop-ins, play time, and potty visits. I am also happy to help with brushing, bathing or other needs, just ask me about what you may need. If you are currently working on any training I am happy to accommodate your program and keep up on socialization. I am accustomed to dogs with special medical needs, in recovery or on a special diet as well. If your pup is on a raw food program, fear not, many of my dogs have been raw fed and I am not bothered one bit! I look forward to looking after your Fur-Kids! I am fairly flexible, however, there are some days I may not be available, reach out to me ahead of time and we can sort the details. Walking is always on leash, I can work with your positive training program. Play time with their favorite toys is great, letting them in the pool if you do or play in a splash pool is in this heat is fine with me, I'll dry them off before they come in! I am happy to honor your house rules like off the couch if that's not allowed or any feeding and snacks. I am very cautions with the little escape artists and am very accustomed to having an extra gate to close for 2 degrees of protection. You just let me know what you do and I will do the same.

Jeffery is amazing. I got really sick and could not walk my dog. Jeffery responded quickly to my request for 3 days/3 walks a day. He was always on time, excellent communication skills and very friendly. My dog Gracie would run to the door to greet him and absolutely adored Jeffery. They walked and played ball. I think she is still waiting for him to come to the door again. I would highly recommend Jeffery. He is consistent, timely and a dog whisperer. It is obvious he loves what he does. I will definitely be contacting him again. Thanks Jeffery! You really saved me in desperate time of need :-))

Joanna is the absolute best. I cannot speak highly enough of her. She has been walking my mother's dog twice a day, 7 days a week for about 6 months so far. She is 100% dependable and punctual, great with the dog and my mother, is gentle, kind, and wonderful to work with. We adore her!

Long review but I promise it’s worth the read. Iv had my dogs for over 15 years and I frequently drove 150 miles one way for boarding because once I find someone I trust with my dogs I don’t want to make changes. Unfortunately that dog sitter moved to South Carolina and I did drive there once for a longer stay but it just wasn’t feasible in the long run. So when I moved to Jupiter 18 months ago I found Bill and we aren’t letting go of him either. Bill is an exceptional dog walker who goes far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. He truly sees each dog’s personality, reads them, and meets them exactly where they are. My Lily is notoriously human-selective, and Bill earned her trust with patience, intuition, and genuine respect for her boundaries. He is reliable, punctual, and deeply attentive to my dogs’ individual needs, and he even brings his own well-researched, healthy treats. When he noticed my gate needed fixing, he didn’t just point it out — he fixed it. When my dog Emma was battling cancer and struggling with the threshold, Bill helped me make my house more accessible so she could move comfortably. His care extends far beyond walks; he asked to be there when I had to put Emma to sleep so he could hold my second dog and allow me to focus fully on Emma. That level of compassion is rare and unforgettable. Bill also volunteers with dog rescues and has rescued several dogs himself, which shows in everything he does. He is available not just for regular scheduled walks, but in emergencies or when I manage to plan something joyful for myself, and I trust him completely

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
