I’m college educated with a background in psychology, and my hands-on experience includes working as a veterinary assistant and training under the animal behaviorist at Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, where I developed a real eye for canine body language and communication. I know what a relaxed dog looks like, what an anxious one needs, and how to read the subtle signals in between. I have a particular soft spot for senior dogs. I’ve loved and owned a few myself, navigating medications, mobility needs, and the extra patience and tenderness that comes with caring for an older animal.
