About: I overcame an initial childhood fear of dogs by firstly rescuing a senior mutt as a family, aptly named Scruffy, before then adopting a Golden Retriever puppy, Angus, who I grew up with as a brother. This instilled the responsibility and love only an owner can truly understand that I have carried with me since. In addition to the dogs, my childhood was also filled with adopting and looking after pets of all shapes and sizes - with multiple cats co-existing in peace, rodents, reptiles, birds... So am no stranger to knowing how to juggle a zoo. After I lost my best friend Angus, my partner and I bought a Retriever puppy of our own, Roo, nearly 6 years ago, who is my entire world. I personally trained her from a baby velociraptor to the angel she is today and a registered service animal, with everyone who meets her praising how well behaved and perfect she is. Alongside raising her, I have also dog-sat, walked, and helped train numerous friends and neighbours dogs over the years - of varying ages, breeds and temperaments. This includes a senior, German Shepherd rescue who is unfortunately, aggressively reactive and therefore requires extra attention and care when in my responsibility. In addition to multiple puppies at various stages of development, introducing them to social situations for the first times and learning basic behavioural commands. I am also experienced and comfortable walking two strong dogs at a time, incase your household comes with double trouble. As a result, and as an owner myself, I understand and respect the individual requirements of each dog to ensure your loved ones are most comfortable when I am trusted to look after them. I am currently not working so am available 24/7. As a result, your pet will be my main and sole responsibility in my current situation. Again, as an owner myself, I know the trust and responsibility that comes with looking after our pets. I also know what we expect as owners so I can promise you will definitely receive too many photos and regular updates as a minimum to give you peace of mind at all times. I also am no stranger to fussy eaters or sensitive stomachs as I have navigated that with Roo all her life as well as knowing what constitutes a proper walk and ensuring our dogs are well exercised.

About: Hi! I’m Julianna, and animals have always been my people- dogs especially. I’m college educated with a background in psychology, and my hands-on experience includes working as a veterinary assistant and training under the animal behaviorist at Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, where I developed a real eye for canine body language and communication. I know what a relaxed dog looks like, what an anxious one needs, and how to read the subtle signals in between. I have a particular soft spot for senior dogs. I’ve loved and owned a few myself, navigating medications, mobility needs, and the extra patience and tenderness that comes with caring for an older animal. If your senior pup needs someone who genuinely gets it- I do! I believe every dog has its own personality and pace, and I’m never in a rush to push past what they’re comfortable with. Whether your pup is confident and social or a little shy and particular, I’ll meet them wherever they are. Outside of time with animals, I’m happiest outdoors- hiking, backpacking, and camping are my reset buttons, so a long walk or an adventure with your dog is genuinely my idea of a great day. When I’m not with dogs, I’m usually with my cat Harry, who has made it very clear that he runs the household. So yes, I’m also fully vetted by a feline. I originally joined Rover in 2018 and am just reactivating my account after an extended hiatus. Every pet and household is different, so I always start by learning the specific routines, preferences, and needs of each animal before anything else. I follow your pet’s established schedule as closely as possible- familiar routines reduce anxiety and help them feel secure in your absence. I’m comfortable administering medications, managing special dietary needs, and handling the extra care that senior or high-needs pets require. About: I have taken care of my own animals and friends’ animals for as long as I can remember. I absolutely love animals, caring for them, and keeping them stimulated! I am available for all evening care and I am open on weekends! I don’t prefer to leave my own dog at home on the weekends, so I’m happy to entertain your animal for as long as it needs! I have a mini Goldendoodle at home. I’m used to exercising my own pup for hours each day with long walks, dog parks, dog puzzles, etc. I am always finding something to keep him busy!

About: I have been caring for animals my whole life, between walking our family dog to neighbors and house sitting for cats and dogs. I have about 8 years in veterinary medicine working as a veterinary technician/ assistant. I love all breeds and seeing all different personalities. I have one dog of my own who is a small Chihuahua, Sophie and I did have a bangle cat named Maui. I am currently working part time in animal clinic Wednesdays - Friday. I will be able to take care of pets Saturday's- Tuesdays. If a pet parent is needed with help on the days I work, I will be able to try and make accommodations as I know how hard it can be to find someone willing and able to care for their fur baby. I have a fenced in yard, I am currently renting and need to remove boarding at the moment but am willing to stay at a pet parents house if needed

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and even horses growing up. I’ve always loved taking care of my animals growing up and even now as an adult. I am a third grade teacher and a proud mom of two children, and my Stella girl which is a mini golden doodle. I have some time on my hands after school and since I love dogs so much would love to help people who need assistance with dog walking and/or dog visits. I am an elementary school teacher. During the school year I’m available anytime after 3 PM. During summer break, spring break, and winter break, I am more open and flexible with my schedule as there is no school/work on those days. I have a fenced yard and a beautiful neighborhood to go on walks. I have a mini golden doodle, Stella, who is the most lovable snuggle bug ever and loves playing with other dogs. I also have an extra crate if needed.

About: It seems as though I have always had a dog or a cat around. In the family we have had several different breeds of dogs that include pomerinians, chows, a pit bull, chihuahuas, yorkies, rottweilers, and some terrier mixes, just to name a few that I have lived with and taken care of throughout my life. I live where no animals are allowed. I miss being able to be around pets and would love the opportunity to help you out. I do work M-F 6am - 2pm, but am available anytime after that. For house sitting, I am available for drop in visits, to feed, walk, play with, and show love etc. However, please note that full time or overnight stays will need to be discussed on an individual basis. Walking, feeding, petting, playing, loving ...whatever you need I can provide for you, just let me know what your pets enjoy the most and I will try my best to duplicate your love while you're away.

About: I’ve had pets in my family since I was 5. We’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, you name it! I have my own dog now as well. While I am not a dog trainer, I have trained my dog to a good degree and can definitely give pointers, or follow instructions for ongoing training, to ensure your dog gets the best and most consistence care possible. Let me know how I can help! My schedule is very open for the month of May as school has ended. I can absolutely accommodate your schedule as best possible with prior notice. About: I've always had dogs my whole life as well as some cats. I have watched plenty of family and friends' pets over the years and am more than comfortable caring for them. I work from home so before work and at lunch time (occasionally after work) I am happy to come over and do whatever needs to be done! Feeding, administering medication, just some play time, checking in to make sure they haven't caused any damage, etc! I love to snuggle when they let me! Happy to play with them or leave them be if that is more their personality. I love animals so I always try to take the best care I can!
