About: Hi! I'm an animal lover who is lucky to have 8 fur babies of my own (3 dogs, 4 horses, and 1 adorable cat). Having been fortunate enough to grow up with family dogs and many other pets I am experienced and very comfortable caring for all animals big and small. I have a very open schedule and am generally free 7 days a week except for the two hours I set aside to train with my horses. I have experience cat and dog sitting for family and friends all with various breeds and ages and am comfortable around different dogs. As a pet owner, I know how much it means to be kept updated on your pet's wellbeing while they're with a sitter so I will be sure to send lots of pictures and updates. I can't wait to get to know and take care of your fur babies! I’m currently working only in the afternoons for a couple hours so I’ll always have plenty of time to care for and love on your animals. I am experienced in pet care and will always be sure to take the very best care of your animals, their environment and your home.
“Katherine did an amazing job with Molly! She was reliable and punctual and Molly loved her:). It’s great to go away and not worry about our Molly girl. Highly recommend!”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for animals. I’ve always had at least four dogs in my home, so caring for pets has been a part of my daily life for as long as I can remember. I have personally trained my dogs from basic potty training to commands such as sit, stay, stop, and roll over. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, extra attention, or reinforcement of training, I’m happy to adapt to their needs. I can also provide overnight care if needed to help keep your pet comfortable in their familiar environment. In addition to my extensive experience with dogs, I have been cat sitting for the past three years. I am experienced with feeding schedules, cleaning litter boxes, and making sure cats receive the attention, affection, and care they need while their owners are away. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I make time each day for walks, feeding, playtime, and giving pets the attention they deserve. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I am able to plan my day around the needs of the pets in my care and can provide updates to owners for peace of mind. Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, a long walk, or extra companionship, I am committed to making sure they are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special needs. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and supervision, while also keeping their living area clean and tidy. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both you and your pet by treating them with the same care and respect I would give my own animals.
“Zoey was absolutely wonderful with our senior dog while we were away for the long weekend. She kept us consistently informed with check-in updates and detailed communication about our dog’s eating and bathroom habits, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was incredibly attentive, cleaned up any accidents without issue, and was also very flexible and accommodating with our changing travel schedule. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she watches, and we came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup. We would absolutely book with Zoey again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter!”

“Heather was available last minute over the July fourth holiday after our original sitter had a family emergency. She was so prompt and took great care of our animals, and sent thorough updates and great pictures 🥰 We felt confident in her being able to respond to our reactive dog’s needs and Heather was super understanding and respectful of them when we did our meet and greet. Our shy kitty even made an appearance on one of Heather’s visits, so I know she really made an effort to spend time with the animals. Thank you again!!”

“Kelsey is wonderful and the best to my sweet little puppy! Extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful. Super intentional with everything she does during her visit. I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: Huge animal lover looking to make some extra money doing something I love! Will take time to make sure your pet is comfortable with me. I have 5 years of experience with dog care and about 20 years total animal care experience from my own pets! I currently work full-time in Jupiter until 5pm. I can do any walks on my break, playtime, weekly and weekend nights, and overnights as needed! Due to the care being in someone else’s home, I would always make sure your pets safety and the cleanliness of your home is my number one priority. Making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable with me is also something that is very important.
“Gail did an excellent job with my two frenchies! Her sweet nature reassured me that she was perfect for the task. I highly recommend her and definitely will use her services in the near future.”

About: Hi! I’m Julianna, and animals have always been my people- dogs especially. I’m college educated with a background in psychology, and my hands-on experience includes working as a veterinary assistant and training under the animal behaviorist at Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, where I developed a real eye for canine body language and communication. I know what a relaxed dog looks like, what an anxious one needs, and how to read the subtle signals in between. I have a particular soft spot for senior dogs. I’ve loved and owned a few myself, navigating medications, mobility needs, and the extra patience and tenderness that comes with caring for an older animal. If your senior pup needs someone who genuinely gets it- I do! I believe every dog has its own personality and pace, and I’m never in a rush to push past what they’re comfortable with. Whether your pup is confident and social or a little shy and particular, I’ll meet them wherever they are. Outside of time with animals, I’m happiest outdoors- hiking, backpacking, and camping are my reset buttons, so a long walk or an adventure with your dog is genuinely my idea of a great day. When I’m not with dogs, I’m usually with my cat Harry, who has made it very clear that he runs the household. So yes, I’m also fully vetted by a feline. I originally joined Rover in 2018 and am just reactivating my account after an extended hiatus. While I’m rebuilding reviews here, my background speaks for itself- and I’m happy to do a complimentary meet and greet so you can see firsthand how I interact with your pet before committing to anything. I’d love to meet your dog and earn their trust — and yours 😊🐕🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into the rhythm of my day rather than feeling like an add-on. I keep a flexible schedule that allows me to be genuinely present and attentive- not rushed between commitments. Whether it’s a morning walk, midday check-in, or an extended stay, I prioritize showing up consistently and on time. Animals pick up on stress and distraction, so I make a point of bringing calm, focused energy to every visit. Every pet and household is different, so I always start by learning the specific routines, preferences, and needs of each animal before anything else. I follow your pet’s established schedule as closely as possible- familiar routines reduce anxiety and help them feel secure in your absence. I’m comfortable administering medications, managing special dietary needs, and handling the extra care that senior or high-needs pets require. Your home and your pet’s comfort are always treated with the same respect I’d want for my own ❤️

About: I've always had dogs my whole life as well as some cats. I have watched plenty of family and friends' pets over the years and am more than comfortable caring for them. I work from home so before work and at lunch time (occasionally after work) I am happy to come over and do whatever needs to be done! Feeding, administering medication, just some play time, checking in to make sure they haven't caused any damage, etc! I love to snuggle when they let me! Happy to play with them or leave them be if that is more their personality. I love animals so I always try to take the best care I can!
About: I have fostered animals quite a few times throughout highschool and loved all of them. I love to spend time with new pets and figure out what kinda quirks they have, it’s the funniest thing. I am experienced working with larger dog breeds all the way down to cats. I look forward to hearing from you and looking after your fur child as my own! Thank you in advance! I have a pretty open schedule right now, I have just moved back to Palm Beach Gardens after living in Jacksonville for 2 years working on school and college while living there. I am very flexible to any rules you may have set for your pets and can adjust so that you do not have to worry about you furry friend in my care.
About: It seems as though I have always had a dog or a cat around. In the family we have had several different breeds of dogs that include pomerinians, chows, a pit bull, chihuahuas, yorkies, rottweilers, and some terrier mixes, just to name a few that I have lived with and taken care of throughout my life. I live where no animals are allowed. I miss being able to be around pets and would love the opportunity to help you out. I do work M-F 6am - 2pm, but am available anytime after that. For house sitting, I am available for drop in visits, to feed, walk, play with, and show love etc. However, please note that full time or overnight stays will need to be discussed on an individual basis. Let's discuss your needs and see if we're a good fit! Walking, feeding, petting, playing, loving ...whatever you need I can provide for you, just let me know what your pets enjoy the most and I will try my best to duplicate your love while you're away.
“Emily was so great with our lab! She came over beforehand to meet our boy, and he instantly loved her. She was excellent at communicating with us and made us feel completely at ease.”

“Alyssa has been hands down our best experience on Rover! She’s so kindhearted and gave our cat Kaya all the love and attention she needed. We loved the detailed updates after each visit. Highly recommend”

About: I’ve taken care of several furry friends since I was 12. Neighbors, friends and family have trusted me with their furry friend. I will treat them like my own. I’m currently working part time early in the morning so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your furry friends. I will do what is needed for them! Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Juno Beach
We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! From the very beginning, she was professional, reliable, caring and she is a great communicator. Even though our cat is very shy and skittish, she was clearly comfortable and well cared for, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We received regular updates, photos, and thoughtful messages that showed genuine attention to detail and love for animals. It was obvious that our cat’s routine, comfort, and personality were truly respected. We came home to a happy, relaxed cat and a spotless space. I would absolutely recommend Carly to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive cat sitter - and we will definitely be booking again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
