About: I have over 14 years experience caring for pets. I bring a calm, attentive, and genuinely loving approach to every animal I meet. While I’m newer to dog sitting professionally, I’ve spent time volunteering as a dog walker and fell in love with their energy and personalities. I’m in pet care part-time. I’m flexible, reliable, and happy to tailor my care to exactly what your pet needs! Whether that’s long walks, playtime, or a slower pace for senior pets. I love building trust with each animal and keeping their routine consistent. I can reinforce any training or commands you’ve been working on, and I can accommodate special care needs, like administering oral medications or giving extra attention. At the end of the day, I treat every pet like they’re my own! They will be safe, cared for, and genuinely enjoyed. 😊 I work full time Monday through Friday every week during the day, but I am able to fit in a walk in the morning, midday, and evening! I live in a spacious apartment which has plenty of sidewalks to walk around. I don’t have any pets at the moment, so you don’t have to worry about your dog not getting along with others. I also only take care of one dog at a time.
“Erin was respectful in our home and followed all of our instructions. We really appreciated that she made an effort to connect with Lily and earn her trust, even though she knew Lily was very shy and skittish. Erin provided detailed daily report cards that gave us peace of mind and reassured us that Lily was in good hands. We would definitely recommend Erin to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

About: Ever since I started working at a doggy daycare I’ve fallen in love with every part of animal care. Whether it’s keeping them and their space clean or giving them the proper amount of exercise and socialization I am happy to do it all. I have experience giving medications, injecting medications, handling senior dogs and cats. I also have experience raising newborn kittens and handling reactive, very strong dogs. I work full time at a doggy daycare in Jupiter and am hoping to broaden my experience as well as make some extra money on the side. For the most part I have a set schedule that I’m flexible to work around and I have my own vehicle so transportation is never an issue. I am eager to create a platform for myself and build a client base that has trust in me. I am well versed in monitoring behavior and excretions and can be knowledgeable when it comes to sudden changes. I am meticulous in the way I care for pets when it comes to medications and specific instructions. I don’t allow myself to indulge in distractions that could jeopardize the level of care, and am quick to document and communicate any issues or celebrations.
“Jill is so sweet! She takes good care of our pups when we are gone. She treats them like they are her own. Always leaves thorough notes on what happens during the visit!”

About: I overcame an initial childhood fear of dogs by firstly rescuing a senior mutt as a family, aptly named Scruffy, before then adopting a Golden Retriever puppy, Angus, who I grew up with as a brother. This instilled the responsibility and love only an owner can truly understand that I have carried with me since. In addition to the dogs, my childhood was also filled with adopting and looking after pets of all shapes and sizes - with multiple cats co-existing in peace, rodents, reptiles, birds... So am no stranger to knowing how to juggle a zoo. After I lost my best friend Angus, my partner and I bought a Retriever puppy of our own, Roo, nearly 6 years ago, who is my entire world. I personally trained her from a baby velociraptor to the angel she is today and a registered service animal, with everyone who meets her praising how well behaved and perfect she is. Alongside raising her, I have also dog-sat, walked, and helped train numerous friends and neighbours dogs over the years - of varying ages, breeds and temperaments. This includes a senior, German Shepherd rescue who is unfortunately, aggressively reactive and therefore requires extra attention and care when in my responsibility. In addition to multiple puppies at various stages of development, introducing them to social situations for the first times and learning basic behavioural commands. I am also experienced and comfortable walking two strong dogs at a time, incase your household comes with double trouble. As a result, and as an owner myself, I understand and respect the individual requirements of each dog to ensure your loved ones are most comfortable when I am trusted to look after them. I am currently not working so am available 24/7. As a result, your pet will be my main and sole responsibility in my current situation. Again, as an owner myself, I know the trust and responsibility that comes with looking after our pets. I also know what we expect as owners so I can promise you will definitely receive too many photos and regular updates as a minimum to give you peace of mind at all times. I also am no stranger to fussy eaters or sensitive stomachs as I have navigated that with Roo all her life as well as knowing what constitutes a proper walk and ensuring our dogs are well exercised.
“Alyssa was great. She took care of my little Smokey as if her were her own. She constantly sent photos and updates which was very reassuring. I highly recommend her.”

“Caylee was great with my puppy Riggins. She communicated with me the whole time and sent pictures. He’s nervous with new people so she met me prior making me feel better about the whole process. Highly recommend!”

“Jori was great with my dog Boris. She was able to get him outside on her first visit, which is rare for Boris. Jori clearly has a great acumen with dogs and I feel very comfortable with her taking care of Boris. ****Highly recommend Jori****”

“Heather was available last minute over the July fourth holiday after our original sitter had a family emergency. She was so prompt and took great care of our animals, and sent thorough updates and great pictures 🥰 We felt confident in her being able to respond to our reactive dog’s needs and Heather was super understanding and respectful of them when we did our meet and greet. Our shy kitty even made an appearance on one of Heather’s visits, so I know she really made an effort to spend time with the animals. Thank you again!!”

About: I have fostered animals quite a few times throughout highschool and loved all of them. I love to spend time with new pets and figure out what kinda quirks they have, it’s the funniest thing. I am experienced working with larger dog breeds all the way down to cats. I look forward to hearing from you and looking after your fur child as my own! Thank you in advance! I have a pretty open schedule right now, I have just moved back to Palm Beach Gardens after living in Jacksonville for 2 years working on school and college while living there. I am very flexible to any rules you may have set for your pets and can adjust so that you do not have to worry about you furry friend in my care.
About: I have been caring for animals my whole life, between walking our family dog to neighbors and house sitting for cats and dogs. I have about 8 years in veterinary medicine working as a veterinary technician/ assistant. I love all breeds and seeing all different personalities. I have one dog of my own who is a small Chihuahua, Sophie and I did have a bangle cat named Maui. I am currently working part time in animal clinic Wednesdays - Friday. I will be able to take care of pets Saturday's- Tuesdays. If a pet parent is needed with help on the days I work, I will be able to try and make accommodations as I know how hard it can be to find someone willing and able to care for their fur baby. I have a fenced in yard, I am currently renting and need to remove boarding at the moment but am willing to stay at a pet parents house if needed
“Maddie has been absolutely wonderful with Emmy. She is very responsive, always shows up on time, refills her water bowl, and even takes time to play with her in the backyard. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing Emmy is in such caring and attentive hands. If you’re looking for someone friendly, reliable, and truly great with dogs, Maddie is it!”

“Andrea was so responsive when I reached out for help for a last minute request. She came and walked the dogs, checking in via text n photos to let me know all went well. Dogs were happy n relieved to see her”

About: I have been around animals since I was born and I am very comfortable around them. I have a dog and three cats, myself and have been the sole person responsible for their care. I have also cared for other people’s pets, dogs and cats of all sizes, since I was in high school. I’ve had experience with administering medication, walking/playing, and cleaning up after animals. I know our pets are like members of the family and I would love to care for your fur babies like they are my own! I am currently in school that is taking place online and have a very open and flexible schedule, so plenty of time to love on your pets! I have a nice, large patio available for romping around on in the sunshine. My neighborhood is very dog friendly and has lots of shady sidewalks to take a stroll on. I also have a nice dog park, for big and small, less than 5 miles away. I have a 5 year old rescue dog who is very sweet and gets along with others when comfortable.

About: I've always had dogs my whole life as well as some cats. I have watched plenty of family and friends' pets over the years and am more than comfortable caring for them. I work from home so before work and at lunch time (occasionally after work) I am happy to come over and do whatever needs to be done! Feeding, administering medication, just some play time, checking in to make sure they haven't caused any damage, etc! I love to snuggle when they let me! Happy to play with them or leave them be if that is more their personality. I love animals so I always try to take the best care I can!
About: I’ve taken care of several furry friends since I was 12. Neighbors, friends and family have trusted me with their furry friend. I will treat them like my own. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Juno Ridge
We had an amazing experience with Brooke! This was our first time using Rover, and she made the entire process so easy and stress-free. She took wonderful care of both of our cats, kept us updated, and gave them lots of love and attention while we were away. We felt completely comfortable knowing they were in such great hands. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring pet sitter!

We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! From the very beginning, she was professional, reliable, caring and she is a great communicator. Even though our cat is very shy and skittish, she was clearly comfortable and well cared for, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We received regular updates, photos, and thoughtful messages that showed genuine attention to detail and love for animals. It was obvious that our cat’s routine, comfort, and personality were truly respected. We came home to a happy, relaxed cat and a spotless space. I would absolutely recommend Carly to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive cat sitter - and we will definitely be booking again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
