Both of my kitties passed away this year, so pet care isn't a daily responsibility at the moment. However, I do have a neighborhood stray that visits frequently for pets and treats :)

As a customer of Rover, I've noticed that a lot of the sitters are more interested in caring for dogs. I've also noticed that a lot of sitters underestimate the attention and care that cats need, especially cats on medication or with health problems. I'm looking to fill this void for my fellow cat parents because everyone deserves away time, and they shouldn't have to sacrifice quality of care for their furry loved ones.

A typical day
I absolutely love wrestling with cats (at their comfort) and playing chase. Most of the time, it's just me running around the house trying to hide around a corner, but the cats always look intrigued regardless! Ha. I'm only covering cat sitting. If you do not have a cat, please don't book me. I cannot provide sufficient care for your dog. Cats only. I would also love to take care of your plants while you're away! Let me know what you need!

Cat care experience
I grew up with cats in the house always. I have two cats of my own currently, having the longest one for 8 years now. I have experience giving cats medicine on a regular basis such as pills orally, ear drops, and topical medicine on skin and food. My cat, Sir Burtrum Whiskers, is FIV+ and Nandor as HCM which gives me the unique experience and perspective to care for cats in any and all health conditions!
