About: Growing up with both large and small dogs, I've always had a deep love for animals. I have two large dogs of my own and enjoy taking care of friends and family’s pups. Whether it’s a walk or a mid-day break, I’m here to make sure your dog gets the love and attention they deserve! Working from home gives me great flexibility. I am available all day on Mondays and Fridays, and occasionally in the evenings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I prioritize the safety and well-being of every dog I walk. I ensure that all dogs are kept on a secure leash, and I’m careful about choosing safe, dog-friendly routes. I’m experienced with both large and small dogs, understanding their unique needs.

About: With years of hands-on experience caring for both large and small dogs, I’m passionate about making sure every pup feels loved and well cared for. I've been walking dogs since high school and truly enjoy spending time with all breeds and personalities. As a proud owner of two large dogs myself (a large and a giant breed) I understand the special attention, exercise, and affection they need. Your dog will be in caring, capable hands! I currently work a hybrid job Monday through Friday, with occasional in-office or facility visits, but primarily from home. This means I’m mostly available on weekends, and I can also offer weekday drop-ins or daytime care, especially if your home has Wi-Fi so I can work while keeping your pet company! 😊 I believe an active dog is a happy dog! I love taking dogs on walks around the neighborhood, playing fetch, and giving them time to run and explore. But I also enjoy spending quiet time with the more relaxed pups who just want to curl up on the couch and watch TV. Every dog has their own personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one special.

About: Ive always loved pets, and I’ve been a foster home for a local shelter for years before, recently moved back to Detroit and I’m looking to help out with pet sitting for some local people! I currently have a very active husky of my own! I’m a young professional who works entirely from home on a flexible schedule, looking to find some pets to care for! About: Coming from a home of both large shelter dogs and purebred chihuahuas I’ve cared for dogs from all walks of life. I’ve cared for food agressive and dog agressive dogs, but my professional dog watching has mostly been elder dogs. Whatever the case I’m able to medicated as well as accommodate to your pups needs! I’m currently in between jobs as recently the season ended for my past job. That gives me all the more time to give your pet the time and attention they need! I am flexible! I will accommodate your pet’s every need! Ranging from high-need pets to low-need pets, I aim for maximizing their comfort and happiness. Adaptability is my strong-suit.

About: I have been working with dogs & cats professionally for 12 years, most recently working in the foster and adoption's office at the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society where I specialized in management of dog behavior cases and senior pets. I was a foster parent for hospice and special needs cats for 4 years, so I am comfortable with a wide range of medications, symptoms, and care - including injections. Prior to working in rescue, I was a full time dog walker for 6 years, and have experience with dogs who may require more precaution and management on walks for issues such as leash reactivity, dog-dog aggression, or stranger danger. I am an advocate for positive reinforcement based training methods, fear free handling, and consent based interactions. While pet sitting is certainly a fun job, it has never been something I take lightly - leaving your best friend/family member with an unfamiliar person can be incredibly scary, so building trust is something I care about deeply. **Note: If you are in a difficult financial situation, I do sometimes offer sliding scale pricing. Depending on the needs of your pet, I am open to discussing price adjustments outside of what I have listed regarding drop-ins, additional pets, etc. - at a meet and great we can talk over care details and come up with something that works for both of us. I recently returned from a work exchange in Southeast Asia at the end of December, so as of now pet sitting is my main gig. My schedule is currently quite flexible, however I cannot commit to sitting dates that are more than 6 weeks in advance. Given my background working with a wide range of pet personalities, safety is always my #1 concern when it comes to interacting with any animal; I am well versed in body language, anxiety disorders, & safe handling techniques. I love to know any and all information about your pet before beginning care so that I can ensure that we are both comfortable. I have really seen it all when it comes to behavior so I don't judge, but I do feel it is extremely important to discuss if your pet has a bite history, known stress triggers, handling sensitive body parts, or other behaviors that may pose a safety concern to me, your pet, or your community. I take your notes, advice, and requests very seriously when it comes to equipment, routine, and diet - only utilizing the tools you provide, unless otherwise discussed. Given my beliefs surrounding humane handling and positive reinforcement, I am not comfortable servicing clients where using aversive equipment such as shock collars is required (I would be happy to provide resources on some alternatives).

About: I used to work for a dog grooming service for two years! Worked with multiple sized dogs and different breeds. I have one dog my self! I am good with all breeds and personalities. I have a reactive dog, so I am good with dogs who are reactive, and need special attention. Very loving and patient when it comes to animals. I enjoy the outdoors and nature, so dog walking for me in right up my alley, in any weather! I’m very flexible with pets needs, scheduling, and always down to play! I stay in Grosse Pointe Woods area and often have a lot of free time on my hands to care for your pup! As said I have a lot of experience with dogs and could provide references if needed! If we can get on a routine or regular schedule that would be ideal for me!!
