“I think Lois was my best Christmas gift! We had a big family trip planned over the holiday and I hated the thought of my dog locked in a kennel. I just happened to check the Rover site for the first time and saw that Lois was willing to take in a “guest” for Christmas. We set up a meet and greet because Lois also has a dog. I trusted her knowledge of dog behavior and she was confident the two dogs would get along. They were like brothers! Even though Rosie isn’t very friendly with other dogs, she went out of her way to make sure Rosie was comfortable by taking her outside during times when there were fewer dogs around. She was so thoughtful, patient, and caring with her. I also loved getting lots of pictures and updates everyday. I would definitely recommend Samauira and would trust her with Rosie again!
Robert was a wonderful sitter for our dog Boh. He clearly has experience with dogs and understands how to handle different pet personalities and needs. He listened carefully to all instructions and asked good questions. He sent updates with pictures every day. Kali was an extraordinary dog sitter for my very very anxious dog. My dog has significant anxiety which can be very difficult to work through but Kali was diligent and kind allowing my nervous pup to ease into a her environment. Kali gave frequent updates, pictures and videos, always asking if there’s anything else she could do to help ease the transition. Within a day my scared pup started to warm up and became inseparable from Kali. Not only did she have to deal with my pups anxiety but my pups eye drop regime! She did everything I asked and more, she exceeded my expectation. I can’t wait to use Kali again, she was amazing with my dog and just a lovely person!
Cecil and his family took great care of our dog Jack! Jack is very energetic. I was nervous Jack would be a handful but Cecil constantly reassured me everything would be fine. Jack came back happy and tired! I would definitely recommend Cecil and I plan on rebooking soon!
Katherin was kind and communicative throughout my dog, Enzo’s, stay with her. We were visiting from Florida and he stayed at her home for 3 days while we stayed with friends who couldn’t have a dog at their house. I would highly recommend Katherin as a pet sitter!
Trishelle was great with my pet. She took him on short notice, when my sitter had an emergency and could not board him. I had a paid vacation already planned. Trishelle agreed to take him in on short notice. I received many pictures and messages on my week away. I have a senior, shy and very temperamental dog. The pictures put me @ ease. When I picked him up, he was well cared for. I can tell Trishelle truly cares for pets. I definitely would recommend her especially for boarding your pets for long periods.
Dawn took great care of our little dog Harper. Harper missed us and spent a lot of time whining. Dawn was great about remedying the situation by taking him for walks and giving him attention. When forgot to include his bed and Dawn was nice enough to provide him an old towel to lay on inside his crate!! I would both recommend and rebook!!
Katie was absolutely amazing with Toby during his 3-week stay. We have previously booked Katie to care for Toby, and we were so happy to have her watch him again. Knowing Toby’s personality and needs, we felt completely at ease leaving him in her care. Toby is a sensitive dog who needs patience, understanding, and a calm environment, and Katie provided exactly that. We had our pup stay with Christina for a week and he was in the best hands!
