About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid, and it’s still one of my greatest joys. Today, I’m a proud dog mom to two pups: Roxy, my 16-year-old toy poodle with a sweet but sassy senior personality, and Pickles, our affectionate long-haired Chihuahua mix who loves everyone—dogs and people alike! Over the years, I’ve also cared for many friends’ and family members’ pets, including dogs with different temperaments and medical needs. I'm comfortable administering medications and giving each dog the attention they deserve. I love going on walks and always enjoy bringing the dogs along for fresh air and exercise. My family enjoys having a house full of furry friends. Whether your pup is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, they’ll be treated like part of the family in our home. I work from home, so when I board dogs, I am available to them all day and night. I also have my summers off, so I can make even more time for the dogs I walk or board in the summer months. In my home, safety and comfort are top priorities. I have a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks, and I’ve set up gated areas inside to provide quiet or separate spaces if a dog needs downtime. I have two friendly dogs who enjoy the company of other pups, and my two children are gentle and respectful with animals—they love helping give our furry guests lots of attention and affection. I always take time to get to know each dog’s personality and needs to make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or quiet space, I’m here to make their stay as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

“Wow! Caitlin is truly the BEST! Her outstanding service & care for Mr. Boots, my precious cat, has been phenomenal. The daily photos of Mr. Boots getting full attention and care really won me over. I would highly recommend Caitlin to care for your pet (s) she is a true professional!”

About: I've had and trained dogs my entire life. I am 54 and no longer working and would be available to be here with your baby 24/7. I have a fully fenced in back yard for lots of playtime fun. I'm currently 54 and have retired early, so I'm available to care, love, play, walk, and look after your furry friend 24 hours a day. I have a fully fenced in yard that they have full access to run and play in. Your pet will be treated like family. I allow pets on my furniture so that we can relax and snuggle together.
“Erin was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Lola, while we were away for a week. She stopped by twice a day to walk her, feed her, and give her plenty of attention. Lola adored her from day one. What really impressed us was Erin’s calm, thoughtful care during an unexpected heat wave. She kept us updated, adjusted Lola’s routine to keep her safe, and made sure she stayed healthy and comfortable despite the weather. Her communication was timely, kind, and incredibly reassuring. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup — the best sign of all. We highly recommend Erin as a sitter to anyone looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and truly attentive.”

About: I have watched my grandma's animals since I was 13 and have also had dogs and cats since I was a baby and have always loved all kinds of animals I can dog sit all weekend because I am not busy and i need money to pay for my college, the only thing I have in my schedule is school. At my home I feed all my animals, I walk them, I watch them and pet them and love them. Also I watch them when my parents go places
About: I grew up with Rottweilers and have always loved dogs of all breeds and sizes. My most recent pet was a sweet Shih Tzu who needed a little extra tender care, which taught me the importance of patience and gentle attention. Cuddling is truly my favorite part of pet care, and I will treat your furry family member with the same love, respect, and affection I’d give my own. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule—just me and my laptop! I can work on the go, which makes it easy to prioritize your pet’s needs. While I may have the occasional client call lasting up to an hour, the rest of my time is dedicated to giving your fur baby the love, attention, and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In your home, I will carefully follow all rules, routines, and restrictions you provide to ensure consistency and peace of mind. In my own home, I’ve created a secure, pet-friendly environment—nothing is left out or easily accessible that pets can get into. I also have a spacious patio for supervised outdoor time, and the open layout of my apartment means your pet will always be within my line of sight.
“Second time booking with Lori! I have had a little bit of bad luck with pet sitters before finding Lori on Rover. She showed up for a meet and greet and I got the immediate impression that she was dedicated, honest and trustworthy so I decided to give her a try. I'm glad that I did! I now (finally) have a go to pet sitter who I trust completely with my fur babies. Lori will continue to get my business.”

“We have enjoyed working with Samauria so far! She came by for a meet and greet first, which we feel is very important. Our pup Poe was loving on her from the start, appreciating the scratches and belly rubs given. They had their first visit today and all went well. Samauria was communicative and save for a tiny house alarm kink, she followed all our instructions. She even alerted me to Poe’s excitement outside that irritated her paws because of the ice. I greatly appreciate her efforts with that. We look forward to future visits and a weekend stay coming up.”

Professionally, I am a masters-prepared nurse and dog trainer who specializes in working with small dogs and puppies. I am home most of the time, but I do go out to do normal things (the gym, errands, occasional social engagements). Please let me know if your dog is not crate trained. I do separate the dogs for safety when I Ieave the house, but can use gates or an ex-pen instead of a crate if that works better for your little one. Your dog's safety is my first priority, followed by creating a fun and relaxing environment for your little one. You can relax knowing that your dog is in great hands and enjoying their own doggie vacation. I only accept dog-friendly small dogs under 20 pounds, so your little one will have size-appropriate buddies to play with! I manage drop offs and pickups with safety in mind, and I'm very happy to offer pick up and delivery to make your boarding experience as convenient as possible!

Essex pet parents share their Rover experiences
I was Very worried with leaving my dogs for a few days. They have never been with anyone except for my family. Adriane exceeded my expectations. She was very patient with my dogs and updated me everyday. She even took some extra time out to hang out with them after their session was over. She even helped clean up the mess that my dogs made in the house. I’m already planning my next vacation just so I can book with her again.

Erica took the time to meet my cats before committing to providing care. She asked good questions, so it was clear she understood the issues, and was prepared. I was impressed with her punctuality and reliability, and how she quickly leaned how to care for a cat with diabetes. During each visit, she provided solid, informative feedback. I will absolutely use Erica again!

Jennifer has been absolutely great. The cats can’t wait to see her. Always on time and will communicate if she can’t be. Knowledgeable about what to look for with senior cats without even asking. She has done house sits for me when I go away and mid day drop ins when I have long work days. My definite go to.
