About: I am reliable and flexible. I work full time during the week but have weekends and evenings off. I have a lot experience taking care of a variety of dogs but would prefer dogs who are gentle (not a jumper and does not pull on leash). I own a dog who loves other dogs and she is kennel trained. I would prefer that if your dog stays with me that they sleep in a kennel or on the floor in a dog bed. I live in the city so I would need to be able to walk the dog to go to the bathroom which is why it is important that the dog is well trained on the leash. Great availability over the summer months!
“Shaun did an amazing job with my dog Goofy. He sent updates and pics which put me at ease leaving goofy for a week long! Shaun is very pleasant and trustworthy and I will be using him for future trips and needs!”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats my entire life and cannot remember a time I didn't love them all. My cat is no longer with me but I still have dogs and would love to care for your pets as I currently do my own. I can handle big dogs and little dogs as well as am willing to clean out your cats litterboxes. I'm happy to tussle with big dogs and take naps with lap dogs anytime! I'm a college student looking for work over the breaks and any pet time over the semester as I'll be away from my own. I'm happy to work around my class schedule to be with your pets as much as possible. I have a mostly fenced yard with the only opening being the driveway but intend to do walks and keep pets leashed just for safety. My own home has two dogs that are great with other dogs, both of them being on the smaller side and great with people as well. When I'm up at school there will be no other pets up there and the space will be fully for your pets. I'm also able to do house sitting, walks, and drop-ins for your pets to make sure your pets are getting love and attention when you're away.

“My senior cat Jasper fights Jackie almost every time he needs his inhaler. But at the same time, still wants cuddles on the couch. Oh my sweet baby boy. Jackie handles it like a champ & is always so loving & caring💗”

“Erica took the time to meet my cats before committing to providing care. She asked good questions, so it was clear she understood the issues, and was prepared. I was impressed with her punctuality and reliability, and how she quickly leaned how to care for a cat with diabetes. During each visit, she provided solid, informative feedback. I will absolutely use Erica again!”

“Stephanie should be a professional pet photographer. The pics she sent us were great! Our older guy also needs meds now and she did great making sure he took them since he sometimes resists. She was very sweet to our cats and took great care of them. Will be working with Stephanie again in the future!”
“First time using Rover and Heather was wonderful. We appreciated her being patient and flexible with us. Our babies were well taken care of and we hope to be able to use Heather’s services again in the future ?”

“If I could leave more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Mariah not only took excellent care of my 2 kittens while I was away for the holidays, but she helped save my home from a disaster. A pipe froze and burst while I was out of town and she took immediate action when she discovered the flooding in my home. She called the county water authority to have them assess the issue, ensured the main was turned off, and even brought water from her own home for my cats since there was no longer running water at my house. She offered her time and flexibility since she was local and I was out of state, and I am so grateful yo her. I could not have asked for a better person to be there. Thanks so much Mariah!”

“Molly helped me and Tigger in a very huge way by watching the for a couple of nights while l was moving. She sent pictures and have updates at least twice a day and I am very grateful for it as Tigger is not use to contact outside of my home. I will certainly look Molly's way again in the future”

“Maria was great with my kitties. She was able to give them their oral meds with no problem. Great communication and attentive to the cat needs. It was nice to come back to a clean house and calm cats. Highly recommend.”

“Paige did a great job taking care of our cat, Dommy! Thanks to Paige, we had the peace of mind to enjoy our vacation. We will definitely reach out again the next time we need a sitter!”

“This is the second year I’ve had Kelly take care of my two cats over the holidays and she is PHENOMENAL! She always sends such great pictures and updates every day. Even when one of my boys had an upset stomach she took it in stride and cleaned everything up without a single complaint. She truly cares for the pets she looks after!”

“Colin did a great job keeping my outside kittiy fed and happy. He kept me updated daily. It was such a relief to know someone was watching over him (and his kitty friends).”

“This was our first time using Rover for our cat Walt. He is slow to warm up to people but Tabitha was great at the meet and greet just going at his pace and not forcing anything. She stopped by for 2 visits and by the second one he was less shy and approached her more easily. I would definitely recommend Tabitha as she was available on short notice and reliable.”

“This is the second time Leah has watched my cats while I’m out of town and she is definitely my go-to cat sitter! She is thorough, gives my cats lots of love, sends great pics of them, and my cats love her. I totally trust her taking care of them while I am out of town and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.”

“Cada enjoyed her day care stays with Veronica, and we already have plans to book with her again. We received regular updates and photos, and Cada seemed to be happy and comfortable during her stay. We appreciate the flexibility and convenience of doing in-home daycare, and Veronica has taken care to ensure the safety and comfort of all the dogs in her care. So happy to have her in the neighborhood!”

“Poppy gets excited to get to Crissy's house and enjoys her time with Dublin. Crissy is flexible on timing when I've bumped into conflicts, and adjusting recurring days.”

“Joyce was amazing. I contacted her super last minute because I wasn’t feeling well and she came to my rescue and took good care of my puppy Houston. He came home so happy and energetic. I received videos while he was in her care and he had so much fun.”

“This was my first time using Danielle, I was truly impressed, from the first picture she sent me I could see that my fur baby was in love from the way he was looking at her with his paw on her arm, that put my mind at ease. Danielle was a ten out of ten and I will definitely be using her again. ❤️”

“Emily was amazing! We did a meet and greet a few days before hand and then on the actual day, my dog remembered her and was so excited to be back. I was worried because he’s a bit of a Velcro dog but Emily said he slept behind her while she worked and spent some time outside with her dog as well playing. 10/10, I will book Emily and Patrick next time I need a sitter.”

About: My dog and I work from home all day and we'd love your pup to come hang out with us! I did my PhD at Johns Hopkins and now work as a remote tech professional. I have a 5-year-old lab/shepherd mix. I have babysat and fostered dogs of all shapes and sizes, including dogs with special needs. I'm the girl who takes better care of her dog than myself. I'm talkin' three 45+ minute walks a day, human-grade dog food with special toppings, and only positive reinforcement. I know how special your fur baby is and I know it can be scary to trust someone else with them--trust me, I've been there. I would treat them the exact same way I treat my own dog--with attention, care, respect, and lots of love. Your dog will be supervised at all times in a large 3BR condo with large living spaces, plenty of toys and places to lounge. Oh--and a goofy furry friend named Trevor! I work from home and keep a pretty typical schedule--my dog and I go for a 30-45 min walk around 7:30 AM, a 45-90 min walk around 4PM, and then a 30-45 min walk around 8PM. In between, he lounges while I work with breaks for cuddles and play. I would adjust walking lengths to your dog's needs and can do more potty and play breaks if needed! I have a large 3BR condo with a large living area, study (where I work), and dining area. Dogs are allowed on my couch and bed but there are also dog beds in nearly every room. My kitchen has a door and my pantry has a door that I keep closed so your dog wont get into any food they're not supposed to.
“Shannon has been absolutely amazing! I’ve been in Baltimore for work and decided to find a place my dog could go to at least once a week for fun. Shannon and her family treat Dori like family. She’s very accommodating to our schedule and Dori always comes home tired out from a day of fun! We’ll definitely be returning if we come back up to Baltimore!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently I only have one dog for the first time. I will treat your dog like a part of the family. Please let me know if there’s any special treatment that needs done. I do have a toddler home with me as well so I request that the dog is child friendly! I work from home so your dog will get potty breaks whenever they need it. I have a fully fenced in yard for your pup to run around and play. Your dog will be allowed on couches/beds, wherever they are comfortable. I have dog beds and have baby gates set up so they can have areas of peace if they need. I do have a toddler at home who loves dogs but will maintain space if needed. I also have a husky mix who generally just minds her own business.
“Elizabeth was absolutely fantastic with our dog Lupin. She picked him and dropped him off every day which was such a help. He also adored playing with her puppy!”

“I couldn’t be happier with our dog sitter! He’s incredibly prompt and always available—even on short notice, which has been a lifesaver more than once. It’s clear he genuinely loves my dog, and that kind of care and attention means a lot to me. He also has his own dog, so mine gets a built-in playmate and comes home happy and well-exercised every time. It’s such a relief knowing my dog is not just being watched, but truly cared for and enjoying the experience. Highly recommend!”

“My Jessie has separation anxiety, which I is why I bring her to daycare. She did very well with Lidia and Lidia's sweet, mellow dog. I will definitely bring her there again.”

“Katie is the absolute best! Between her flexible times, and extra love shown to my fur baby, he never wants to leave when I come to pick him up! She keeps me updated throughout the day, and is always available when I need her! She is a great person and I always feel comfortable leaving my dog with her!”

About: While new to pet sitting, I am not new to loving and caring for friends and family dogs. I’ve been a volunteer at local animal shelters in the past and have experience with a variety of dogs - young and old, different breeds, behaviors, etc. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and when I adopted my boxer/beagle mix, Sasha, from the shelter at two years old, she became my greatest teacher, showing me how to love deeply, be patient, and make the tough calls that come with being a devoted pet parent. I have experience caring for dogs at every life stage, from bouncy puppies to sweet seniors. Special food requirements? Daily meds? I’ve got it covered. I pay close attention to each dog’s unique personality ... some thrive on extra snuggles, others prefer long walks, backyard playtime, or peaceful naps in the sun on the deck. I think it’s important to set up a meet-and-greet with new clients. It’s the best way for us to see if we’re a good match and to go over your pet-care needs in person. It’s also a great opportunity to get all those questions answered, and chatting face-to-face just makes things smoother. And honestly, meeting a new pup is the best part! At the end of the day, we know who’s really in charge: the dogs. Our job is to make sure they’re happy, healthy, and surrounded by love. I work from home and have the flexibility to play in the backyard, take walks, and provide personalized care as needed. In the last year I became especially skilled at taking care of our senior dog so am ready to provide any specialty care if needed. I have a fenced yard and quiet neighborhood with walkable sidewalks and lots of opportunities for sniffing out the perfect spots. No other pets or children in my home.

“Although he is new to this, Erica is great with Cooper. She is timely and allows him to get out his curiosity by allowing him a few moments to explore the world around him. She is very patient and ALWAYS sends the best updates and photos. We truly appreciate her!”

“Stephanie has been an exceptional dog walker for our golden retriever, Willie, consistently showing up on time three days a week without fail. She is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly cares deeply about the pets she looks after. Willie always gets long, engaging walks, and it’s obvious he enjoys his time with her. Stephanie does a fantastic job keeping us informed with detailed updates, including bathroom breaks and how he’s doing at home. We feel completely confident and grateful to have her taking care of Willie.”

“Lady was excellent - she has trouble entering our apartment due to a front desk error but she was in contact with me and so patient. I'm looking forward to her meeting Lexie in the future for a walk!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life (35+ years) and have experience with a wide range of breeds, ages, personalities, and needs. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, seniors, high-energy dogs, and pets who require extra patience, attention, or medical care. I have hands-on experience administering medications, including insulin for diabetic dogs, and caring for dogs with seizures and other health concerns. I understand the importance of maintaining routines and closely monitoring a pet’s health and behavior. “Kristine did an amazing job with my babies!! She was punctual. Communicated amazingly and was able to follow all my very detailed instructions making. About: I've been a huge pet lover since I was little! I've taken care of my family and neighbor's dogs since I was little, and I recently started taking care of family friends' dogs in my own home. I have experience administering meds for doggies on medication, love working out so I can keep up with any active ones, and have done grooming before! I have experience with puppies all the way to senior dogs, as well as small doggies all the way to big dogs. I love em all!! I just graduated college, and I am looking for full-time industry jobs, so I am home/available all day, and I'm ready to build my routines/schedules around your fur baby and make them my top priority! For boarding, I provide a secure, pet-proofed home. I like to do slow/controlled introductions with my roommates (all female college students) and me and keep close supervision at all times, especially in the beginning. I have an unfenced yard, but I never let untrained and/or unleashed doggies out there without constant supervision. I will follow all your care instructions and medication schedules. Everything mentioned applies for house sitting and dog walking! I do not own any pets myself, so I am open for doggies who cannot be around other animals.

“Peggy was fantastic. She scheduled a time to meet us before our reserved dates, answered all of our questions and was very thorough. During the time of our pup over, Peggy sent regular updates. Just an overall good first experience with Rover and with Peggy G. I would use her again.”
