About: I’ve been caring for and loving cats since I was 18. I started by taking care of a small group of feral cats living in my shed. Over time, that colony grew, and I naturally became more involved in their care—eventually socializing kittens, helping them adjust to human contact, and bringing several into my home when needed. Since then, cats have been a consistent and important part of my life. At various points, I’ve cared for up to four cats at once in my own home, so I’m very comfortable managing multiple personalities, routines, and needs at the same time. I understand how different each cat can be—some are social and playful, others are shy or independent—and I always adjust my approach to match their temperament and comfort level. I currently have two cats of my own, so I’m actively experienced in day-to-day cat care, including feeding routines, litter box maintenance, enrichment, play, and recognizing changes in behavior or health. Professionally, I am a masters-prepared nurse and dog trainer who specializes in working with small dogs and puppies. I have worked with dogs professionally for more than 20 years, as a vet technician and dog trainer. There is no substitute for experience! I am very comfortable monitoring and managing dog play to keep everyone safe and happy, as well as managing special needs, giving medication, bathing, clipping nails, etc. Your dog will thrive with expert care from an experienced professional. I work from home and have lots of extra room on my couch for your little one! Your dog is most welcome to join us for couch time, walkies, and supervised outdoor play time in my large securely fenced garden. I am home most of the time, but I do go out to do normal things (the gym, errands, occasional social engagements). Please let me know if your dog is not crate trained. I do separate the dogs for safety when I Ieave the house, but can use gates or an ex-pen instead of a crate if that works better for your little one. About: I’ve cared for animals since 10yo. Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, fish etc. My last cat recently passed and I’m not ready to attach to another pet just yet. But I love animals and would love to borrow yours from time to time. I’m currently retired and caring for my mom. I would love to have pets around from time to time.
