“Laura was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. This way my first time using rover and I was skeptical considering these are people you don’t know and I would be letting them in my home. Laura was amazing. My dog loved her. Everything was left as was when we returned. She communicated very well and pleasant. Sent us plenty of photos and effectively communicated. We will be using her and her only in the future. Great job Laura! And thank you again! We can’t thank you enough!!!!”

“I’m SO IMPRESSED with Erica ??????❤️❤️?She gets full 5 ✨ from me no question. I was alerted when she entered my home and when the visit began. I received photo of My baby girl Sheeba. The deets were awesome!! I’m was super nervous letting stranger in my home and taking care of my girl but Erica is AMAZING!! She was happy and excited when I got home. Thank you sweetie sooooo much for being an Awesome Rover employee and I will officially be repeat user ????? Belinda West?????”
“A must have when you need pets taken care of! I am a person who rarely trusts people with my dogs, and I am so glad I chose Sarah to take care of dogs. She is professional, accommodating, caring, and the dogs love her! I can be worry free when Sarah is looking after the dogs. Thank you so much!”

“Kelly is simply the best. I think this is the third year in a row we have used her to watch our animals during our family vacation. She is very easy to communicate with, and responds quickly to any messages that you send. She is also very flexible and was able to accommodate adding on an additional day for us. She doesn’t simply just check on your animals. She spends time with them, and gets to know their personalities. The daily updates and pictures are an added bonus to what she offers while you are away, which keeps your mind at ease that everything is going smoothly.Kelly goes the extra mile, by taking care of the animals as if they were her own. She noticed that our litters needed to be filled up more, so she added more litter. She also took the trash out, because you know, it would probably stink…. Kelly does the little “extra” things, that you don’t even ask her to do, because she actually cares. We will continue to be repeat customers in the future, because we know that our animals will be well taken care of, and then some!!!”

“Jennifer did an excellent job once again with my dog Jax. She is someone who I use regularly and she is always available and willing to check in on Jax when I need to go out of town.”
“Kathleen did a great job taking care of our old beagle. It really gave us peace of mind to have her checking in with us to let us know how our old guy was managing.”

About: I've had dogs and cats from puppies and kittens through adults. Frenchies are a demanding breed because of breathing, overheating and diet. Over 5 years she's perfectly healthy. The cats have had heart and thyroid problems which required daily medication that increased their lifespan by years. I am retired after 30 years as a telecom engineer. But still young and healthy. I can juggle my schedule to meet your needs with short notice. I know how to mix food if necessary and add supplements or medications. I medicated geriatric cats for years. My dog occasionally needs flea medicine and has taken pain medication when she hurt her foot awhile back.
“Emma was fantastic watching our new puppy ! She left great updates on our dog and provided adorable photos. Emma was super flexible with our slight changes of drop in times. I definitely recommend Emma and would use her again!”

“Heather came through for us after we had a late cancellation for a cat-sitting. I reached out to several Rover sitters and she was the very first to respond. It meant the world to go on our family trip assured that our boy was in good hands. Heather sent photo updates and promptly messaged back: would absolutely recommend her!”

About: I have 5+ years of dog walking/sitting experience. I am a volunteer at a local animal shelter and love being around and taking care of dogs. I will love your dog like he/she is my own. If your dog isn't comfortable staying with me, I will come to their happy place. I love to cuddle and will guarantee your dog will be in great hands. I am the perfect temporary companion for your dog! I will also spoil your dog with all the love and affection and probably too many treats. I also have some experience with dog training and can work on commands that he/she already knows and possibly teach them something new! As an added bonus, I am a photographer and will spoil you with all the amazingly adorable photos of your fur baby while they are in my care. I work part-time so there is plenty of time for me to take your dog on a walk or simply let out for a potty walk while with you are at work or away from home. Unfortunately I am unable to host your pets at my home, due my current dog, but I will treat your home as if it were my own. I will clean up after myself, tidy up, and make sure to pick up any poop in the yard and of course on walks. I am here to help give your dog a well-deserved potty break, walk or fun adventure while you are away. I was on staff and currently volunteer at an animal shelter so you can trust I will care for your pets in the most humane and safe way possible.

Jennifer has been absolutely great. The cats can’t wait to see her. Always on time and will communicate if she can’t be. Knowledgeable about what to look for with senior cats without even asking. She has done house sits for me when I go away and mid day drop ins when I have long work days. My definite go to.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
