Experience,fenced yard, and loveDundalk, MD

Before Rover(this is my full time job) I have worked in dog grooming and with a dog trainer, i have much experience with dogs, I have studied dogs and cats since I could read I know breed specifics, and many other pet related subjects and conditions.

I always treat other pets like my own they become like part of our family here. My fence is secure, security cameras, I am available mostly anytime, animals are always great with me once they know me definitely my calling.

I am experienced with house training, walking , bathing, nail trimming, comforting dogs, just ask!

I also studied a lot of medical issues so if dog is in distress or has any issues I will be aware.

I am the one for you and your dog as long as they are okay around other dogs and kids. In some cases I can separate your dog if they don’t like to be around other pups.

I never walk dogs together so they have their own time, space and it's safer. If they need to be on a separate side of the house from other dogs that works out well also we can talk about that.

My cats are GREAT with dogs and my chihuahua mixes have been around all types of dogs and cats and have since young pups They are all bark!

Fun for your pup includes:

-play time in the yard with CONSTANT close range supervision always and a fenced in yard.

- safe walks around the neighborhood and fields.

- love, comfort, affection and support while you are gone.

-any toys even barkbox, and other pets to play with. (if your dog likes that)

- air conditioning, or heat and fresh filtered water always.

- I also do add ons such as bathing and nail trims. I do cat care too!

-special request you name it

I am flexible with time and I love to have dogs here for an hour to weeks they fit right in! At my house there is no need to worry as I am always on alert an will contact you with many updates.

Check out my all of my profile photos from beginning to end as you will see all of the breeds I have worked with in the last year and a half. My photos tell a lot with over 300 with well over 140 different pups. My many verified reviews tell more!

No pick-ups after 9pm. No drop offs after 7 (dogs need time to settle)

Crate trained dogs are preferred for dogs under 3 years old and over 30 pounds or unneutered but I do make exceptions.

Home Full-Time!Reservoir Hill-Bolton Hill Area, Baltimore, MD

Hi!

My name is Lauren. I grew up around dogs my whole life, owning and caring for two of my own, until having to move away after college. Since then, I have cared for the dogs of roommates, friends, and family members whenever I had a chance. I have experience working with several breeds and all size dogs.

Currently, I work full-time from home for a cybersecurity company, so it is very easy for me to host animals at my place, as well as work from anywhere that has an internet connection. I generally have a flexible work schedule so going on walks is never an issue. I live very close to Howard Dog Park in Baltimore. I live with my boyfriend, Al, who loves animals as much as I do. We strive to provide the most comfortable and loving environment for your pups.

Animals (especially dogs) are truly one of my passions, and nothing makes me happier than being around them. I promise to treat your pups like a member of my own family while you're away. I can't wait to meet your furry loved ones. :)

Animal LoverHampden-Woodberry-Remington, Baltimore, MD

I have been an animal lover since a child. I have always had multiple cats and dogs that I consider family. Currently, I have two cats that have been around dogs with no issues. If your dog has an issue with cats, I am able to confine them to my finished basement. I live in a row home with a fenced in yard. I love to walk and live near many parks where I could take your pet. In addition, my step children live here half of the time and they love animals too.

I have much experience with senior cats and dogs and pets with diseases. I can administer pills and needles. I'm also a stay at home mom so I can give extra care and attention.

As far as boarding goes, I try to be as flexible as I can with drop off and pickup. However I do have to set certain times because it is too disruptive to my family and other dogs I'm boarding. Dropoffs have to be after 7 am and Pickups have to be before 9 pm. Thanks for understanding.

Hamilton's Happy TailsHarford - Echodale - Perring Parkway, Baltimore, MD

Hello, future Hamilton Happy Tails family!

The Goodman family would love to welcome you and your furbaby for a special stay. Together, we will provide your furbaby with long walks, healthy snacks and a soft place to rest. Our family has a passion for animals. Dexter and Kanika have adopted several pets over the last 6 years and currently are pet parents our dog Pearl and our cat Neji, who were both adopted from animal shelters in Baltimore.

We live in the Hamilton/Lauraville neighborhood of Baltimore city. We purchased our home here in 2012 because of the small town feel, local shops and it's close to a great school. This area is very pet-friendly and as your furbaby goes for his/her walks they will surely meet new friends along the way.

Dexter, a travel consultant, will be there to greet you in the mornings to begin your pet's stay. He will take any special request, collect your pets items and take them on a morning walk. Kanika, a stay home mother, will be there to attend to your furbaby's every need. Your pet will never be alone and will receive tons of love and affection from Kanika during the daytime. Once school is out, Dira, our 15-year-old daughter, will give your pet tons of playtime in our fenced yard. Leisurely walks and fun jogs will be provided daily by both Dira and Des, our 17-year-old son, as Kanika prepares a yummy snack and cold water for their return.

Our request is that your pet is cat and dog-friendly. If your dog has a bed or crate that it is attached to, please bring it to assure your furbaby has some comforts from home. If your pet is on a special diet and medications, let us know in advance, as well as their schedule. Also, let us know if your pet has any allergies or phobias. We want to give your pet a home away from home.

We look forward to meeting you!

Dexter, Kanika, Des, and Dira

If you love them, so will I!Westgate, Baltimore, MD

My husband and I are volunteer members of Animal Rescue; we have had all ages, all types, and all sizes of pets since we first had a home (1995). I am accustomed and sensitive to special-needs pets, those on special diets or medications, I have a local vet whom I would contact instantly if I see that a furry or feathered pal is acting peculiarly or seems not to feel well, and I would contact the owner to advise them of their pet's condition and ask which of several options they would like me to try in order to care for the animal (would the owner want me to take the pet to my or their vet's, would they rather come home (if possible) and tend their pet themselves, do they have a medication that is vet-approved that will make him/her feel better, etc.)

I'm not sure if I DO "stand out" from other walkers, sitters, and caretakers, because I have known some fabulous ones that I would leave my menagerie with in a heartbeat. But I think what makes me a good choice in my own right IS my 21 years' experience with rescued, special needs, and senior pets--I adore all these "critters," and I just can't resist them when they look up at me with those sweet eyes, loving me for no other reason than that that's what they do---love. And I guess the other reason you might want me to care for your pets is because I love them all back. I love them usually on sight, and that love stays with them even when I've left for the day or when a job is completed. I don't care about getting drool on my clothes or cleaning up an accident on the floor or having hair stuck all over me, and I'm not squeamish about some of the more---uh, fundamental?--issues that sometimes come up if a "dawgie," or a kitty, has health needs that must be attended to even if unpleasant. I have had to help dogs have bowel movements with just a plastic glove over my finger; I've helped bring puppies and kittens into the world, complete with all the afterbirth mess; I've had to clean up places all over the house where one of them is getting sick; I can usually trick them into taking medicines that they usually shy away from; I have no problem collecting specimens for a vet visit.....and I love them. Mine or someone else's -- it makes no difference. When they are placed in my care, they ARE mine until I'm not there anymore, and they are treated like mine (the spoiled rotten little buggers!). I love them all, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to put them at ease, make them comfortable, help them to feel better, or give them needed attention. For example, if the brood consists of more than one dog or cat, I take them on walks separately. I found out when we had a houseful of SEVEN rescue pets about ten years ago that they tend to get annoyed with each other if you're walking more than one at a time, given that some like to run and others like to walk, some love to run into a fellow critter and some back off and growl at an unknown quantity, and some can only go for short walks while others need a good half hour's stroll down the places they love to walk in. Taking them one at a time eliminates the tussling with two or more opposite temperaments, and it gives each dawgie (I'm from the South, and all my friends up here say that I pronounce the word that way, so I just spell it like that!) time to be paid one-on-one attention, which they all need.

I would give my solemn word to any pet mom or dad that their fur-kid is in good hands with me, and I would see to it that I honored that promise. I love all animals, and I would show that love to those of my clients'. If anything that I was unable to handle alone, such as a dog breaking free of the door or the leash and running off too fast for me to follow and I can no longer see them, I would immediately begin following them in the direction from which they broke free and at the same time I would call Animal Control, both to help me find the dawgie and to keep him/her from being picked up as a stray once the agency knows that the furry DOES belong to someone. I would not leave the area until he or she was found, even if it took all night and into the next day. When they are with me, they are my responsibility, and I treat them as that---but I also treat them as mine. For the time I am with them, they ARE mine, and I will never forget that. Never.

Hi and thanks for visiting my Rover page. My name is Gina and I (so proudly) work with dogs on a full time basis. While I’ve lived with animals all of my life, I made the switch to working with them 6 years ago. While your pup is with me he/she will go on numerous walks daily, have play time with the other dogs and NEVER be forced into a kennel or crate. My goal is to help both you and your dog have a stress-free vacation. Generally, I am home with the dogs all day but I also do training and work with foster animals. So (If/when) I do leave the home it’s only for a couple of hours. We do a ton of outdoor activities such as swimming at the dog beach or the state park. Also, just walking in general. I DO NOT take the dogs to dog parks for various reasons. Please feel free to message me with any additional questions. *** I am CPR, CPCR and first aid certified both canine and feline.

About this sitter:

Absolute avid animal lover. Simply stated. I have waited a long time to switch careers and work with animals and now is my time. Born and raised with many animals, I have a very strong connection and decided to make the jump and return to school to work solely with animals....I will not disappoint you or your beloved pooch. ***I recently received my certification in Pet CPR and First Aid.

Why I love dog sitting

I was born and raised around animals and could not imagine ever coming home to a house without them. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds, I do not discriminate :)

My house is located just a few blocks from Patterson park. I'm still getting to know this area as we are new in town. :) There is a 6ft fenced yard but the dogs rarely need it as we are outside soooo frequently.

About my yard

I have a fenced in back yard with a deck and ample amount of space for the animals to run and play fetch. I still think any medium or large breed should go for at least one daily walk.

Thank you for visiting my profile and considering me for your Pet Sitting needs! Please take a moment to read my profile in it's entirety as I try to cover as much information as possible on what to expect while your pet/s board with me. Please don't hesitate to message with any questions or concerns you may have. If you are new to Rover you can use my promo code ELIZAT47692 to receive $20 off your first booking. I also offer chances to recieve discounts on future stays as well, continue reading to find out how.

* I am happy to announce that we now have a new fence up. The new fence is sturdier and more secure and allows the dogs a much larger area to be able to run and play while outside. We do still have a few minor adjustments we will be making over the next couple days.*

-My home is conveniently located within minutes of BWI airport and 97, my home is easily accessible from either Aviation Blvd or B & A Blvd.

- I do accept last minute requests as I know that life happens and last minute plans get made (I can not guarantee I will always be available and it's a rare instance that I would not be available so please don't hesitate to ask as I do try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible).

- I'm a Full time stay at home Mom

with 26 plus years experience working with dogs. My experience comes from raising and training AKC showdogs (English Bulldogs & Doberman Pinschers), teaching basic training in one on one and group settings to many different breeds. I have experience with dogs of all ages and various breeds, I am extremely knowledgeable of brachycephalic breeds and if there is any breed that I have little/no experience with I like to research that specific breed prior their visit as I love learning as much as I can about each breed or any other specifics that may apply to my guests so I know what to expect and how I can provide them with the best care possible. I am experienced with oral and injectable medication admistration and trained in pet first aid and CPR. I also have experience caring for special needs animals. I have owned dogs, cats, reptiles, birds and small mammals all my life. Before becoming a full time Pet Sitter I worked in Nursing for 15years, I left Nursing in order focus on and spend more time with my family, leaving the medical field also allowed me to return to doing what I am most passionate about and that's working with animals.

- Please know that when booking with me I regularly donate a portion of my income from providing Pet Sitting services to the following organizations:

S.N.O.R.T/Short Noses Only Rescue Team whose purpose is to rescue, provides medical care, foster and find forever homes for French Bulldogs, Pugs, Boston Terriers and English Bulldogs.

The American Pitbull Foundation whose purpose is to promote responsible dog ownership through humane education, outreach services, advocacy and shelter to service which rescues, raises and trains pitbulls to become service dogs to veterans struggling with PTSD.

AAHA-Rescue/Adopt A Homeless Animal Rescue/MD Friends Of Animals who is a absolutely amazing organization that is dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. This organization saves the lives of pitbulls and finds them their forever homes by frequently pulling them from P.G. County shelters and other high kill shelters. I also personally offer a discount to anyone who books a new service with me and has adopted from AAHA (proof of adoption through AAHA or discount code required).

-When your furry family member visits in my home you can rest assured knowing they will be receiving quality around the clock care and plenty of love and attention in a home environment.

- I also have many years of experience with felines, reptiles and small mammals which I can also provide care for in my home or yours, feel free to ask about rates for reptiles and small mammals. I do not have any cats of my own but I do welcome kitties in my home, should you wish to board your cat in my home I do keep them separated and in their own area away from any dogs in my home so that they feel comfortable and safe during their stay.

- I do allow guests on couches and beds. I do allow guest dogs to sleep wherever they are most comfortable and do not require them to be crated at night. I have a few dog beds that guests are welcome to lounge and sleep in as well. (Please let me know if your dog is not allowed on furniture at home so I can follow the same rules here as I don't want your dog returning home with any unwanted behaviors). Guests will have free roam of the main areas of my home during their entire visit and will be allowed in bedrooms with supervision. I do have extra crates in various sizes for dogs that are used to sleeping in one at night or should I need to run a brief errand and your dog usually gets crated when left alone. The only time I would ask that a Owner bring their dog's crate is if they are used to using a hard plastic crate as sometimes dogs don't like changing to a wire crate.

- I will accommodate and pamper your furry family member to make sure their stay is as comfortable and stress free as possible. I will provide as much attention as your pet would like. My family and I like to do our absolute best in making each guest feel at home and just like they are part of the family.

-I will make sure that each dog has a quiet comfortable sleeping area during the day and night, should your dog like to nap during the day, I will make sure that they are not disturbed by any other dog who chooses to active while another is resting.

I can provide a safe quiet area for senior dogs or for dogs that may feel nervous and need some extra time in a calm environment til they adjust or if they just prefer the company of humans over other dogs.

-All dogs will be separated at mealtimes so that they can eat comfortably. Access to fresh water is provided around the clock (Please let me know if your dog is on any type of fluid restrictions or they have a recommended cut off time so appropriate measures can be taken).

- I have experience working with and can accommodate dogs that have separation anxiety, other fears or need extra assistance and time being introduced to other dogs. I can also accommodate and care for any dog that has special needs or require medication to administered.

- I will maintain contact throughout your pet's stay providing updates and pictures so that you will know how your pet is doing and that they are enjoying themselves and are in good hands. I usually send out updates between 5pm-9pm but feel free to reach out at anytime to check in. I treat every guest as if they were my own and their happiness and well being is of utmost importance.

- My Husband and two children ages 12 and 13 also enjoy showering our guests with tons of attention and assisting in their care. My personal dogs love making new friends, they know how to act and play appropriately with dogs of all ages and sizes.

- When your dog arrives I will do a safe and proper introduction with them and any other dog here after I have let your dog get comfortable with me, my family members and home. I know how stressful and scary it can be for some dogs to be placed into a different environment with people and dogs they don't know so I aim to make things go as smoothly as possible for all of our guests, I spend a great bit of time doing introductions and only begin introductions when I feel a new guest is ready. All dogs will be introduced one at a time with first introduction occurring through a barrier, once both dogs are used to each other and getting along then I will let them get better acquainted in the same space.

-For the safety and well being of all guest dogs, their owners, myself and my family all exchanges for drop off and pick ups will occur outside. Arrivals and departures can sometimes be a stressful time for dogs or can cause them to become overstimulated so as to minimize these issues and ensure that all dogs are kept safe and comfortable and cause as little disruption as possible exchanges will occur outside. Meeting outside also allows me to give each Owner my full attention to go over anything before a stay or discuss a stay after it has ended without interruption or distractions. (Common areas of my home are available to view in my photo section). I always spend a few minutes outside before entering the house with arriving guests to give them a chance to use the bathroom and take in the scents of other dogs, this also gives me chance to gain their trust and bond with them.

-Meet & Greets may be required on a case by case basis (I require a M&G for unaltered males over 1 year of age on medium and large breeds, for certain specific breeds and for dogs that are not socialized with other dogs on a regular basis) I do accept last minute requests but may not be able to accommodate certain situations. I am not able to accommodate last minute Meet & Greets and during off season I require they be scheduled at least 3 days prior to the date of any requested service, for peak season requests such as major holidays I reguire a M&G be scheduled at least 2 weeks prior to startrt of any requested service date. As an alternative to Meet & Greets I do offer trial visits that can be from set up anywhere from 2-8 hours (trial visit pricing is for new clients only, prices are listed in the next section) I find that a trial visit can sometimes be a much better opportunity to find out if a dog is a good fit in my home and that I would be a good fit for them since dogs sometimes act differently with and without their owner. I also have a pre-boarding questionnaire that I send out in order to gain as much information as possible about each guest to ensure they receive the best care possible. M&G's will be limited to 30-45 min so please ensure that you arrive on time. Meet & Greets can be done at my home, your home or a local park. If you would like to come to my residence, the M&G will occur outside and I will introduce my personal dogs one at a time and at my discretion depending how comfortable the visiting dog is. Please keep in mind that your dog will be visiting a new environment with lots of different scents and sounds and this may cause some dogs to become anxious, overstimulated or protective of their owners. I highly reccomend that all visiting dogs arrive properly leashed since again this is a new environment and even the most well trained dog could run off if they become nervous or scared.

- Trial visits are offered for new clients who would like to see how their pet does in my home prior to boarding or attending long term daycare, sometimes a trial visit is a better option to a short meet & greet as it gives your dog a better chance to get to know me, my family and dogs. Trial visits give me a better idea of how they will do during a longer visit. I am able to keep dogs separated so having a new guest that likes to stick to themselves, prefers the company of humans over other dogs, needs extra time or a quiet area to settle in can be easily accommodated, If any dog needs to be separated they will be given the same amount of care and attention that dogs that are able to interact together do, it's my goal that every dog has a enjoyable experience while visiting.

Rates for trial visits are as follows:

2hr visit $15

4hr visit $20

6hr visit $25

8hr visit $30

(Trial visit pricing is for new clients only)

- As a courtesy to Clients who are going to BWI Airport you may leave your vehicle parked at my residence during your pets stay, your vehicle will not need to be moved once parked so I will not hold anyone's keys, I do have security cameras but can not be held liable for any issues that may arise while your vehicle is on my property.

- I do offer Pick Up and Drop Off services. Rates start at $25 per round trip depending upon location. Rate is subject to increase for trips over 10miles from my home or at my discretion. Pick Up and Drop Off fee is subject to increase if occurring on or

around ceratain holidays: St Patrick's Day (evening times only), Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween (evening times only), Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day, New Years Eve (evening times only). I prefer that requests for pick up and drop off be made at least 24hrs in advance although the more notice that is given gives greater chance of my availability to guarantee this service within a specific requested timeframe. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to accommodate pick up and drop off service if your request is sent the same day as the start of boarding or daycare is set to begin. For any trip that requires toll payments, any and all toll fees will be added with a 20% fee to the toll amount.

- Please be aware that rates quoted by Rover are subject to change.

Boarding rates are based on a 24hour stay, any stay over 24hrs may be subject to additional fees depending on time of drop off and pick-up, additional fees may be either for half of or whole amount of my Daycare rate depending on how much time is needed past the 24hr mark.

Daycare rates are based on a 10hr stay, any stay over 10hrs may be subject to an additional fee.

-My hours for Drop Offs and Picks Ups at my home are: Mon-Thur 6am-9pm, Fri 6am-10pm, Sat 7am-10pm and Sun 7am-9pm. Times requested outside of these hours can be accommodated but will incur an additional fee. Please be aware that there may be brief periods of time during these hours that I am unavailable, I always do my best to accommodate times requested for drop offs and pick ups. Please treat drop off and pick up times just like an appointment as I may have other guests arriving and leaving the same day and want to give each client and guest my full attention during arrival and departure.

-There will be a difference in pricing for Daycare during weekdays and weekends:

- Holiday rates for an additional dog will be the same as the rate for the 1st dog.

- I do offer bathing and basic grooming for both Boarding and Daycare guests. Grooming entails brushing only at this time.

I also offer nail trims starting at $10, I use a dremel nail grinder or nail clippers and am experienced with both clear & dark nails.

- In the event you would like to extend any original Boarding or Daycare requests that are currently in progress I am happy to accommodate an extension so long as I have space and availability. Once a extension or change is made and agreed upon please be prepared to immediately confirm and pay any additional fees associated with the extension.

Britain-Michel is the best rover sitter we have had! She is so attentive and hardworking, and when my puppy had diarrhea (due to my fault, her food being changed too early) she handed it in stride and was so kind about it. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Britain-Michel is the best rover sitter we have had! She is so attentive and hardworking, and when my puppy had diarrhea (due to my fault, her food being changed too early) she handed it in stride and was so kind about it. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Angie took such great care of Brady while we were out of town. And he clearly had so much fun with her! It was nice to know he was in such capable hands - and having a blast. ???

Britta is very shy about new people and she loves Keith! I almost couldn't get her to leave!

We were nervous to board our Shiba Inu as first time Rover users but Gina completely put us at ease. She’s extremely knowledgeable and responsive! Charlie had so much fun with her sweet dog Lucy. I highly recommend Gina!

Dexter and his family took such great care of my pup. They were very communicative, easy to reach, and most importantly- very loving and gentle dog sitters. Would definitely re-book. Thanks!

Steven is a fabulous dog sitter for our two dogs. They love going to his house. Steven has also been great to work with during our recent travel upsets due to the world health situation. We highly recommend him!!
