Hello, my name is Cassandra. I grew up in Alaska, where one of my main responsibilities was caring for our animals. Throughout my life we’ve had huskies, bulldogs, labs, cats, and even goats. I’ve always been surrounded by pets, and I truly love caring for them. This past December, I lost my best friend of 13 years, Chewy, to congestive heart failure. She had separation anxiety and required daily medication, so I’m very familiar with special needs and behavioral care. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, but I’ve been house sitting and pet-sitting for over 10 years in Alaska, and for the last five years I’ve also cared for my family’s pets here in Oregon. I don’t smoke and I don’t drink. I live in a small, cozy home in a great neighborhood with lots of places to walk dogs. I have no children and a small fenced backyard perfect for safe outdoor time. I’m the kind of sitter who loves snuggles. I’ll happily let your pets on the couch or even the bed unless you prefer otherwise. I know how important routines are, and I’m committed to keeping your pet comfortable, happy, and cared for just the way you do. I enjoy long walks, going to parks, and giving animals the attention they need. You can always count on me to be responsible, reliable, and compassionate. I truly appreciate the opportunity to care for your fur babies while working toward something meaningful. Thank you for considering me your pets will be in loving hands.

Cassandra was amazing with our pets. She was quick to respond, sent all the photos, and went above and beyond to make sure our fur-babes were taken care of.
Agnus and Dankster warmed up to Cassandra very quickly and were well taken care of!
Cassandra was awesome! She arrived on time for each walk. Koda was ready to relax after his walks which is important for a husky:) I'll be asking Cassandra again when I'm not able to give Koda his daily walks.
This was my first time leaving my dog with a non-family member and was a bit nervous, but Cassandra did an amazing job and truly made me feel like my dog was in good hands! She sent me lots of photos and videos of him which I enjoyed very much. She took him on walks, played a lot, and overall took great care of Frankie. I would definitely rebook with Cassandra again if I ever need more dog boarding/sitting!
Cassandra was great again with our pups! Took them on walks and treated them like her own! Appreciate how Communicative she is! Using her again for sure!

Schedule
I’m incredibly grateful to have the opportunity not to work elsewhere right now, which means I’m home full-time. Your fur baby will never be left alone—especially important if they have separation anxiety. I’m a very private, peaceful person, so it will just be me giving your pet constant attention and quality time in my quiet home. My goal is to make caring for animals my permanent, full-time work, and I would love the chance to care for yours.

I’ll follow your instructions closely and keep your fur baby’s schedule as consistent as possible so they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. Pets adjust so much better when they know what to expect, and I’m committed to maintaining that sense of stability. I have a small, quiet home with no children, a fenced backyard, and a neighborhood full of parks, sidewalks, and green spaces—perfect for walks and outdoor time. I always want animals to feel at home here, so they’re welcome on my furniture and bed as long as you’re comfortable with that.
