Hello, my name is Cassandra. I grew up in Alaska, where one of my main responsibilities was caring for our animals. Throughout my life we’ve had huskies, bulldogs, labs, cats, and even goats. I’ve always been surrounded by pets, and I truly love caring for them. This past December, I lost my best friend of 13 years, Chewy, to congestive heart failure. She had separation anxiety and required daily medication, so I’m very familiar with special needs and behavioral care. I currently don’t have any pets of my own, but I’ve been house sitting and pet-sitting for over 10 years in Alaska, and for the last five years I’ve also cared for my family’s pets here in Oregon. I don’t smoke and I don’t drink. I live in a small, cozy home in a great neighborhood with lots of places to walk dogs. I have no children and a small fenced backyard perfect for safe outdoor time. I’m the kind of sitter who loves snuggles. I’ll happily let your pets on the couch or even the bed unless you prefer otherwise. I know how important routines are, and I’m committed to keeping your pet comfortable, happy, and cared for just the way you do. I enjoy long walks, going to parks, and giving animals the attention they need. You can always count on me to be responsible, reliable, and compassionate.
