About: Hi! I've been around animals my whole life, and caring for pets is truly second nature to me. I've owned and loved both dogs and cats since I was a kid, and that lifelong experience shows in how I care for every animal I meet. What really sets me apart is my background in pet care and dog training. I graduated from Norfolk County Agricultural High School, where I took many animal science courses. I took classes in canine behavior, pet shop management, and animal science. I learned how to handle, groom, and care for dogs of all breeds, through hands-on experiences. I bring patience, knowledge, and lots of love to every pet I care for. I am college student spending the rest of my summer from July 8 until August 22 at home. This means I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m already helping my family take care of our own dog, so adding more pets to my routine fits in perfectly! I am available Monday through Friday and am very flexible throughout the day, so I can easily accommodate different schedules and needs. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s, their safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I stay in tune with how they are feeling, making sure they’re well-fed, clean, healthy, and getting plenty of rest and outdoor time. At home, I provide a pet-friendly environment. I’m also lucky to live next to a reservation with trails, open fields, and ponds and streams perfect for dogs who love to explore nature. I enjoy taking pets on these little adventures to keep them active and mentally stimulated. When it comes to pet care, I always treat each animal as if they were my own.

“Today was my first time with lace G. And my pit bull was very happy. I will definitely be booking another walk. She was very friendly and knowledgable.”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life - whether they are my own or someone else's. Dogs always gravitated toward my dad (a definite whisperer) and they are the same way with me. Your dog will be treated like my own - they will come back tired and happy. I will ensure they are always in situations in which they are safe and comfortable. I will go above and beyond to make sure that your dog's experience is a great one! I am a full time teacher, but a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I am available all day during the summer for drop-ins and long walks. During the school year, I can drop-by and do walks before 8 am and after 3pm. Longer visits and walks will be offered in the afternoons and evenings during the school year. Your dog will be given plenty of well deserved attention. They will get many pats and scratches (plenty of love), lots of playtime, will stay well hydrated, and will be plenty tired from their long walk/hike.

“Thank you again for loving and taking care of our Ronin! And thank you for the Christmas gift. Ronin may need some practice but I’m sure he’ll love it!”

“Yusi has been a delight to work with! Kind and attentive to Rocky with her walks & communicative about schedule.”

About: Last Summer I worked at the zoo as a keeper’s aid in the children zoo farm. I worked with all sorts of animals, but especially with the petting zoo goats. Goats are a lot more like dogs (and some cats) than you might think I’ve walked a goat who did not want to be walked, dogs aren’t so bad I also have experience doing visits for friends’ cats and my neighbor’s dog My own dog Pepper can be quite stubborn (though I love her regardless), so I’ve learned to be patient I love animals, and they tend to like me This is my last Summer before college, and while I am currently looking for a part time job my schedule is mostly free right now! If you’re looking for consistent daily or weekly walks, you can get that on my schedule now even if it’s at an odd time I always introduce myself to animals gently and try to gain their trust before I get to what needs getting to for more outgoing animals that can be pretty fast, but I’m not afraid to be patient and move slowly I’m well versed in all the basics (cleaning litterboxes, walking dogs, etc.), and a quick learner if your pet has any additional needs :)

“Molly is outstanding!! I am a very anxious person when it comes to leaving my dogs in the hands of someone else and I cannot emphasize enough how caring, loving and attentive she has been with my pups! Highly recommended Molly if you are looking for an extra hand with your furry loved ones!”

“Thank you so much for walking my boy.”

About: I am a college student that grew up with two dogs, two cats, a rabbit, and a tortoise. I now only have one cat and one dog. I have lots of space for more animals in my life. I would love to walk dogs, and do day visits with dogs or cats. I am a firm believer that dogs and cats get lonely too, and need attention and care when we are away at work. Rather than a professional dog walker with multiple dogs at once, I want to give individual attention to each pet. I am also able to host dogs at my house, and have a separate room for my cats if needed. I am taking summer classes two nights a week but have a very flexible schedule. I am currently a student. This summer I only have one class twice a week at night, so I have plenty of free time to care for animals! I will update my schedule once I know my classes for the fall semester. I have one friendly dog and one friendly cat. They both love to make friends. Our yard is not fenced in, but it is a large open area in a very quiet neighborhood. I do not let dogs out unsupervised or walk off leash.

“Friendly and reliable! Excellent walker!”

“I’m visiting from out of town and Cristina was so sweet to my dog Pip. I really appreciated that she was also kind to my boyfriends dog when she visited Pip.”

About: I have been around dogs all of my life. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, we had two dogs: an American Pit Bull Terrier and an APBT Staffie mix. They were the most athletic and lovey dogs! They completed a five mile hike that has a fairly long and vertical scramble section at 14 years old! In their senior years, they had medical issues so I am experienced with med management and adopting activities to their capabilities. Currently, my fiance and I have a half APBT, half Siberian Husky dog. He is the best! We adopted him from a family that kept him in his crate for so long that he bit off a large portion of the hair on his tail. He was reactive in the beginning, lunging at cars on the road and barking and lunging at dogs on walks. I used Spirit Dog Training’s reactivity course and my education in behavioral psychology and research to fix these issues. He no longer does either things and his hair has grown back in spades! We keep him busy by training him (tricks) and mentally stimulated with sniff walks and games like find it, as well as off leash time, hikes, runs, etc. We love hiking with Oto: he recently completed numerous hikes in Acadia National Park and has done Camel’s Hump in VT and Mt. Osceola in NH: he plans on completing the NH 48! In general, I love being outside and active: hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, running, kayaking, rock climbing and going to the gym. I love all dogs, but have a particular drive to keep working dogs happy and healthy! German Shepherds, Border Collies, Huskies, Cattle Dogs, Anatolian Shepherds: it is amazing what they can do and how they have served our communities in numerous roles for decades. I have spent a lot of time with my sister’s German Shepherd and half GSD half Anatolian dogs. I also volunteered at a therapeutic horseback riding center and rode horseback for several years; I find being around horses to be great training for how to interact with, and train, dogs. They are so big that they don’t HAVE to listen to you. Maintaining confidence (even if you don’t feel like it) and a steady hand go a long way, as well as keeping aware of their body language and behaviors. They are very sensitive creatures. In the Fall, I am starting my graduate program in clinical social work and have indicated my availability on my calendar. In general, during the Fall and Spring semesters, I will be conducting my practicum on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week, so am only unavailable on those days. Please share your dog's behaviors and needs with me before scheduling walks. If your dog is reactive (barks at dogs on walks or lunges) please let me know and I can adjust the walking route and make sure to give other dogs plenty of space. Let me know what their usual distance on walks is, as I can try to adjust my pace accordingly. I have a lot of experience with this (decades). If you have treats for your dog, I can take them out with me if needed.

About: I’ve always been around animals and love to learn more about them and their owners. Always have been open to taking care of many animals and expanding my work. Have time plenty of time on weekdays and some weekends. Im open and inviting to any and every breed of cat or dog as well as other furry friends. I am able to travel for services and am willing to work around my customers! I am very diligent and pay close attention to small details especially when caring after someone else’s fur babies. As someone who has cared for animals in the past I understand the trust and respect you need to have for someone else’s home their rules and boundaries, same goes for animals. I am always open and willing to listen to concerns you may have and worries while you are away.

“Leo’s walked our dog three times now, and they’ve been doing a really great job! Dog in question is a 9 month old puppy (ball of energy) and Leo’s been great with him. Leo’s training as a certified trainer is a big plus, since they can keep up with the loose leash training when we’re not around. We’re big fans!”

Thomas is so communicative & wonderful with Rogue x 3 whole days! We look forward to their future walkies!

Yusi has been a delight to work with! Kind and attentive to Rocky with her walks & communicative about schedule.

Carmen and Alex are amazing to work with. They are very professional and responsive, and are wonderful with our animals. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets!

If you’re looking for a trustworthy dog walker, Karen is it! We are so grateful to have found Karen to walk Louie, who can be very strong at times. Karen is always punctual, communicates very well, and provides great recaps following each walk. I never have to worry about Louie when Karen walks him as her expertise in dog walking was evident on the day we met. She always has Louie’s best interest in mind and communicates about weather and is flexible with providing alternatives (usually cuddles!) with Louie on days where it’s too hot to be outside for a long period of time. Thanks so much for caring for Louie!

Maggie was the best with Finn!! We are so appreciative of her kindness and patience with our nervous boy. By the end of their time, he loved her! We are so grateful for her!

Delayni came on short notice and took my elderly dog for a lovely stroll. She was very patient with my old girl who needs a little extra gentle encouragement. She gave me great detailed feedback and lots of photos. I would definitely hire her again!

Picture this... I just finished a virtual interview, I had 2 of 3 kids home not feeling well. I needed to walk the dog. Normally I would just go, but I worked out yesterday and my legs are out of commission... Zoe was available asap!! Thank you so much Zoe!!

Amelia was so kind and Rilo took an immediate liking to her. She kept us updated about her arrival, the walk and the fact that Rilo was home safely. Recommend

Arianna was amazing with Thor and sent us a lot of pictures from their walks! She was on time every day and provided a great report card after each walk. We highly recommend her!

Charlotte was fantastic! She's so good with Ashley and kept us updated on her walks. She was conscientious and and very responsive. I really felt that Ashley was in good care while we were away. Thank you, Charlotte!

First 2 walks with Erin and so far everything is great, Thanks again! I recommend this walker and will use her services again
