About: I have taken care of my own family dog since I was 15 and frequently take care of my boyfriend’s family’s dog when they go on trips for extended periods of time (feeding, walking, play time). I love going on walks with dogs and would also love to meet some very talented biscuit makers! Happy to accommodate you and your lovely pet’s needs! :) I currently am working part time and looking to transition to a different job so I have a lot of time on my hands! I can help out every morning during the week (early riser) and could also do afternoons if you need! I can also plan to help board at mine if you ever need! I can crate your dog if need be at yours and for my apartment I am across the street from a park (will keep on a leash)!

“Samantha was a godsend during an especially busy week for us! I trust her so much to take good care of my sensitive pup and am so grateful. Thank you!!”

About: Because I get out of work early, it’s the perfect opportunity to take care of your pets during the day! I’m an animal lover who also loves to travel and any interactions I have with four legged (or three legged!) friends instantly lift me up. I’ll treat them like my own pets that are back in my hometown. I get out of work early- around 3. This makes it easy to fit in a quick walk or check in before most people come home from work! I have a relatively flexible schedule which allows me to take care of your pets. I love to spend time with pets- whether that be snuggles, walks, or play time! I don’t have pets at home, but I am happy to take care of yours in your home!

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 12. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, and spend time with their furry buddies. I’ve worked with puppies, senior pets, and animals with special needs. I treat every pet like they’re my own—with patience, love, and lots of attention. I work part-time, so I’ve got plenty of time to hang out with your pet! I’m around for walks and check-ins on weekdays after 8am and weekends after 10am. Whether it’s playtime or a stroll, I’m all in. I always make sure pets feel safe and comfortable, whether I’m caring for them in my home or yours. I have plenty of space for them to hang out, and there are dog-friendly parks nearby where they can get some fresh air and run around. I’ll treat your pet with the same care and attention you would, making sure they’re happy, relaxed, and well looked after.

“Many pictures and detailed comments on the walk! Would definitely book again”

About: FULLY INSURED, 20+ years of professional pet sitting experience, and experienced with pets who have medical or special needs. I have done a lot of pet sitting in the past off of Rover. I have done check-ins with dogs, cats, lizards, tarantulas, you name it. I also have a lot of experience in getting pets to take their medication, whether pills or injections. I had a dog growing up and have rarely been without a pet. I used to walk dogs as a kid for ice cream truck money. At 12, I got 5 gerbils that lived long lives. At 21, I adopted my first cat, a senior kittizen named Millie. After she passed away, my current cats: Bonkers (12yo), who is now CEO of our household; and Martok (4yo), the cat-of-all-trades. (Note, if you DO NOT want your pet posted to social media, please let me know.) Pet-sitting is my main profession, so I make sure to give your pets lots of care and attention, whether during drop-ins or boarding. I work from home most of the time, and my partner works from home several days a week. Between the both of us - and the feline staff Bonkers and Martok - your pets will get lots of attention during boarding! Drop-ins: If I am visiting your pet at home, I will follow all care recommendations for feeding, cleaning, checking mail, etc. If you have any special requests, please let us know (e.g. leave the TV on MSNBC because my pet likes to watch the news) Boarding: I generally only board cats and small caged animals in my home. When you are on vacation, your pets deserve a vacation too! While your cats are here, they are family and get lots of love, care, and attention. The great majority of cats can enjoy the full a-mew-nities of my home once they have settled and it is clear there will be no hostility with my own cats. If they are more shy, aggressive, or antisocial, I have a couple of rooms I can close off from the rest of the house so they can stay in comfortable private lodgings with room service, check-ins several times a day, and en suite litter boxes. Even if they cannot free roam, they will have plenty of space, toys, a big bed, and a heater for the cold.

About: I have had dogs throughout my entire life. This has taught me the important do's and do not's of pet care. In addition to my family dogs, neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and train their pets. My neighborhood has a lot of great walking paths that your pups will love and it is easy to cater to whatever distance they need. There are also plenty of parks around to play fetch and run around. I am currently work from home. I typically work from 8am-4:30pm however my schedule is very flexible for your pet wether that be drop in visits or walking schedules! I am happy to follow whatever rules you have set and trained your dog for. For example, for walks let me know if you are trying to train/are trained to walk in step with you or if they are more free range. I want your pet to be safe and have fun!

“Margaret was so good with our dog for a midday walk. I was looking for a walker last minute and she responded very quickly. She let me know when she was ready to take him out and let me know when he was back home safely. She took the cutest pictures of him! I will definitely ask her for future walks!”

“Emily has had pets the majority of her life and learned how to properly care for them. As an adult and independent pet owner, she has been responsible in all aspects of caring for and loving a pet. She gets down to the animal's level; she pays attention to their body language and signals; and she is patient. She also takes the time to play. She makes sure the pet feels safe and comfortable and she respects their boundaries. I am very comfortable in having Emily take care of my pet and recommend her highly.”
