“Ashli is awesome! This was our first drop-in without anyone home after a meet & greet, and everything went great. She kept an eye on Coda and made sure he didn't try to swallow any bully stick pieces and even brought our packages inside. Our plans changed last minute, and Ashli was super flexible with timing, so we were able to stay out a little later. It's a huge relief not having to worry about being away knowing she's keeping him company and taking great care of him.”

About: I have always had a love for animals since I was young. I have been around dogs of all sizes, ages and temperaments. I have volunteered at many dog shelters and have two dogs of my own that I primarily care for. I have great attention to detail, love going on walks, and overall caring for animals in any way that is necessary. I am currently working at homegoods but have a lot of free time on middays and nights. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be perfect for animal sitting and care. I will make sure your animal in comfortable by making sure to follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions from the owner. I pay close attention to their behavior so I can quickly notice if something seems off. I keep the environment clean, safe, and comfortable, and I always make sure pets get plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. I also provide regular updates to owners so they feel confident and reassured that their pet is in good hands.

I have two cats, and a new puppy I have experience caring for kittens from birth until they were ready to be rehomed. About: I have been around and loved dogs for my entire life. One of our family dogs had two litters while I was in high school and I helped take care of and raise the puppies. I also frequently pet-sat for neighbors and friends. Last year my wife and I adopted a puppy from Puerto Rico who we adore. I look forward to giving your pets the care and love they deserve! I do freelance work as a musician and dancer, so I have a fairly unpredictable schedule. Currently I am available on weekdays from 8 AM to 10 PM but I can be available on some weekends. I am happy to play with your dogs in their home or yard, to work on training as needed (our dog has been in training courses for around six months), or to do whatever else your dog will enjoy! I also enjoy walks and am happy to take your dog around the neighborhood or to nearby parks.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I grew up with rabbits and took care of neighbors pets regularly. As an adult, I have been petsitting consistently for about two years. I’m a grad student with a flexible schedule I’m happy to bend to your pet’s needs, but am generally available weekday mid-mornings and evenings, as well as weekends. I can drop in or housesit, whichever makes you comfortable. I’m especially good with shy or anxious animals and take things at their pace, and am very experienced giving meds.

I've owned dogs my whole life, most recently a lab beagle mix, and have experience with a variety of breeds, both large and small — from Labs to Shih-Tzus and everything in between. Beyond my own pets, I previously worked in marketing at an animal rescue foundation, where I had hands-on experience with animals of all kinds of backgrounds and temperaments. I have also fostered dogs, so I'm very comfortable with special needs dogs, senior dog care, and animals that need a little extra patience and understanding. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and (coming soon) house sitting in and around Bloomington. I work full-time but am available for dog walking and drop-in visits on weekday mornings, evenings, and throughout the weekend. For house sitting, I'm available anytime. Just note that I do work during the day, so your dog will need to be comfortable at home while I'm out. On weekdays I'm available for morning walks before work and evening walks after, and for house sitting clients I'll check in at lunch when I can. Weekends are wide open for longer walks and visits. I also love incorporating dogs into everyday errands and activities: a trip to the park or a ride-along (when approved by pet parents) is always more fun with a dog! Whether I'm walking a dog or house sitting, my priority is making your pet feel comfortable and keeping their routine as normal as possible. I follow your pet's existing schedule, treat your home with the same respect as my own, and always make sure your dog is settled and content before I leave. For anxious dogs, I like to let them lead: no forcing interaction, just patience and plenty of treats until they're ready to come to me. And whatever the visit, you'll hear from me with photos and updates so you always know how your pup is doing.

About: Training and caring for cats and dogs alike from a young age, I have a way with animals that is forged by trust and love. I see animals as individuals, and I believe in second chances (especially with little ones). Whether your animal is a newborn or a 15-year-old, my attention to detail is the same. Being a full-time student, I have a class schedule that is easy to work around as I schedule breaks around lunch and dinner times. Unless otherwise noted, I am free most evenings as well! Not to mention, I am a natural early riser, so maintaining your animal’s everyday schedule will be no issue. Giving them all of the love I can is crucial to our relationship and trust. Even for a walk, maintaining their normal habits is important. Whether staying at the house or not, being with the animal when they wake up (and when they go to sleep) is essential for me if watching for extended periods of time!
