About: I have cared for our loving dogs and cats for over 30 years. I know the stress of travel and vacation. I want to take that stress away by caring for your loving pets in your home or mine. I will work carefully to give your pet a calm relaxing environment. I specialize in dogs and cats. I have also cared for fish in the past.. I understand through my own observation that my pets are calmer and happier when I have employed a pet sitters so I want to provide that same support to my clients. I have the background of taking care of animals with diabetes, blindness, hearing loss as well as many geriatric dogs and cats. Please consider me as your experienced support system while you are away. Thank you.
About: I've taken care of pets for more than seven years, from dogs and cats to birds, fish, and rabbits. I have experience with kittens, and with seniors that need a little extra help. I know how scary it can be to leave your pets at home, so my goal is to give them the highest level of love and care possible so you can feel peace of mind while you're away. I'm currently working on a master's degree, so my schedule is very flexible with only a couple classes every day. I'm comfortable with either drop-in or overnight roles, and will have plenty of time to make sure your pets get lots of attention! I am always extremely careful to follow all of the details of the care plan to keep your pets and home safe. Whether that's triple checking to make sure that escape artists stay where they need to, or sitting with a senior cat for an hour to make sure he eats, or helping a mobility-challenged dog down the porch stairs safely, I will do whatever it takes to keep your pets healthy, happy, and safe.
“Took great care of the dogs. Provided great updates, fed them, and let them play for a drop-in! Very attentive, would definitely recommend them, proactive in reaching out as well.”

About: I have 50+ hours volunteering to walk dogs at a local shelter. I am capable of preforming basic dog and cat grooming (cutting nails, bathing, tooth brushing, etc.) and I have extensive experience caring for senior pets and training puppies. I am currently working a full time job that is very flexible, so I have plenty of time to devote to your pets! Drop ins and house sitting are my primary options! I’ve done it all: pet sitting, long or short walks, boarding and, of course, taking care of my own pets! I’ve given medication to dogs/cats of various ages and sizes. We can go for walks, hikes, swim and even have a park day. If your dog is less active, I can adjust our activity level!
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was around 10 years old when I got my first dog to take care of. I also offer to take care of friends and families dogs anytime! I have one cavapoo currently who is almost a year old and trained! I’m currently working part-time so my schedule is flexible, and I do not work nights, so I’m able to do overnights every night if needed. I live in a secure apartment with open areas to run around and go for walks with a dog park nearby. I have one cavapoo currently who loves to be kept company with other dogs.
About: Hi there! I’m an avid animal lover with a gentle, patient approach to pet care. I share my home with a sweet kitty named Evie and my rescue beagle, Mylo: a lovable goofball who keeps me humble and well‑trained. I always look after every pet with the same attentiveness, patience, and high quality care I give my own little crew. 🐾 Before pursuing social work, I actually planned to become a veterinary technician, and that early passion for animals has stayed with me. I’ve volunteered at the Wabash animal shelter, spent years riding horses, and gained hands‑on experience with all kinds of personalities and needs. Mylo, who struggles with anxiety, has taught me a lot about de‑escalating reactivity and building trust through positive reinforcement. He also takes daily medication, so I’m very comfortable administering meds and following specific care routines. Mylo likes to think of it as his “evening treat with extra steps.” Over the past several years, I’ve pet‑sat for friends, family, and their extended circles. This has allowed me to care for pets of all ages and ranging needs. No matter the temperament, I adapt to each animal’s personality, mood, and boundaries. Striving to create a calm, reassuring environment where your pet feels understood is central to my approach as a caregiver. Please reach out if you have any questions! Your pet's comfort is my priority ❤️ My schedule is currently very open as I wrap up my internship, and I’m available for daily check‑ins, walks, and overnight stays! Please feel free to reach out with any questions, I’m always happy to connect. ❤️🐕🦺🎾 I love caring for pets where they feel safest, their home 🏡🐾. While I’m there, I carefully follow your pet’s routine and keep their space clean and comfortable, so you return to a happy, relaxed fur baby and a home that feels just as you left it (or better).
About: I am passionate about understanding your pet and loving them through their love language. I can train cats and play dogs out, while creating a calm and safe space for them. I play with my own cat for a minimum of 2-3 hours daily, but during drop-ins I will fit in all the play and care within our time! We have 4 large trees, 10 shelves, a cat wheel, and over 40 different cat toys so there will definitely be something your baby will enjoy. I like to play with cats and can also train your kitty during their vacation. I understand body language well, respect space, and meet their needs.

About: I have cared for and loved dogs all my life! I started pet sitting at the age of 12 and since have continued to provide off and on care for furry loved ones over the past 20 years. I am very comfortable with larger breeds after caring for my own sweetie pup Great Pyrenees over the past 7 years. My job is 100% remote so I have quite a bit of flexibility when it comes to shifting around my schedule or taking my work with me wherever I go! I think a dog’s routines are very important! When in a client’s home, I will always stick to rules and schedules that work best for the home and (most importantly) your pup!

“Got it, here's that same style cleaned up with no dashes and the correct details: --- Kasey was fantastic with our pets! She followed our care instructions closely and took the time to play with them and make sure they felt loved while we were away. She also sent photos and a thorough daily report with every visit, which made being away so much easier. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and takes the job seriously. We'd book her again in a heartbeat and recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive sitter. 😊”

“Our pup loves Kristen! We’ve had an introduction meeting and one session with Kristen and can happily say she’s a perfect match to pay our pup some attention on a regular basis :)”

“Ashli is awesome! This was our first drop-in without anyone home after a meet & greet, and everything went great. She kept an eye on Coda and made sure he didn't try to swallow any bully stick pieces and even brought our packages inside. Our plans changed last minute, and Ashli was super flexible with timing, so we were able to stay out a little later. It's a huge relief not having to worry about being away knowing she's keeping him company and taking great care of him.”

About: Gotten into dog/cat/fish sitting within the last few years after getting tired of working in fast food. My Roommate/best friend is also a dog sitter and dog trainer. I'm currently only getting summer hours at my night job, so being able to help others by having fun or hanging out with their pets by going to the park is kinda the dream?? I have a chunky cat that would rather cuddle your furbaby and chill on the couch then run around but I have a big back yard and neighborhood with lots of trees to be on. Plus I just hit 30 so I need a reason to walk around in the daylight hours.
About: I have taught my dog multiple tricks and continue working on separation anxiety and reactivity. Since getting my dog I have learned a great deal about dog food, behavior, and training. I've always had love for animals, and have had a dog in the house since I was 4 years old ranging from small dogs too big dogs. Growing up I would binge animal planet and had hopes of being a veterinarian. Now as an adult, I have had Midas for 3 years. I treat every new dog I meet with respect, and of course love. I've learned to be able to adapt my energy and interactions with different dogs depending on their personality. I would love the opportunity to be of service to you and your lovely fur-baby! I will be un-employed from my seasonal lawn and landscaping job starting December 12th. I will be returning to that job sometime April 1st. I also plan on starting an odd jobs side hustle during the winter months. So if i become too busy from odd jobs I will adjust my availability accordingly and stay available for constant communication to ensure no scheduling conflicts. Christmas and new years (December 22nd- January 2) will be limited availability. February 14-21 i will be on a trip to Arizona. I take my dog for a jog every morning, at least one walk, to our little dog park at the apartment two times per day, and the big dog park a couple of times per week. We go on adventures together and explore different walking paths and nature trails. We feed him once a day and ensure he does a series of tricks and waits for the "ok" command before he can eat. We feed him a three way mix of fresh pet, Dr. Harveys, Meats, and Kibble. I intend to provide a healthy and fulfilled life full of play and love for my dog, and I will treat your dog the same.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bloomington
Kathryn was very attentive and flexible with my dog, Goose. We just moved to the area so people, places, and things felt very new to him. Kathryn did a great job easing into his surroundings and making sure he was comfortable. She took the time to play, walk, and give him treats. Thankful for Kathryn’s communication throughout the week that gave this “first timer” peace of mind!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
