“Nora is great. Kia is an older dog and set in her ways. Nora was so patient with her and took top notch care of her. I got daily updates. Kia wouldn’t eat for the first couple of days and Nora found a solution to get her to eat. Your dog is in good hands with Nora.”

“Madison was wonderful and flexible. First, we were able to modify our dates before the trip. Second. We ran into traffic on our way home and Madison was able to watch our dog for extra tune until we got home. We got picture updates and our dog was happy.”

“I'm so glad we found Celsei! We have an older beagle who lives a quiet life. We were worried that she couldn't handle where we usually board her because she has a bad hip and doesn't hear as well as she used to. Celsei was great with her. We loved getting pictures and videos of what Cookie (our dog) was up to while we were gone. Celsei has her own dogs, and everyone looked like they were having a great time together. We will definitely book with Celsei again the next time we have to leave Cookie behind. Thanks, Celsei!”

“Chelsea did a fabulous job taking care of our dog. We also appreciated her quick communication and willingness to watch our dog as a last minute booking and to add on a day when we wanted to extend our trip. Highly recommend.”

“Mary Jane is one of my close colleagues and has always shown a genuine care for her animals. This made me comfortable enough to ask her to watch my 9 year old Shih Zu/Lhasa Apso mix. I needed someone to watch him while I was out of town for class and a job interview. Mary Jane happily accepted my request, even opening her schedule to days she originally did not have availability. She followed all my directions for the keeping and care of Max. She sent me daily updates and pictures which helped me feel that Max was safe and happy. Her home is set up perfectly, allowing Max to have his own private room if he wanted. But luckily he enjoyed the company of her loving cats and dogs. When I came to pick up Max you could tell he was well cared for. He was in no rush to leave! With that said I am comfortable leaving Max with Mary Jane any time now. He loved her the entire visit and I recommend anyone looking for a sitter to check out Mary Jane. She is honest, trustworthy, and so kind. You can’t help but to feel at ease with her services. Thanks Mary Jane!!!”
“We had a great experience with Mariah! She took amazing care of Goose and kept us updated with thoughtful, detailed messages the entire time, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear she really paid attention to his routine, behavior, and little quirks. Goose got plenty of exercise, attention, and care, and we came home to a happy (and tired!) pup. We would absolutely trust her to watch Goose again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“She was amazing there dog aurora is so cute and friendly. My dog had the best time and came home absolutely exhausted will definitely have them as my first choice for all bookings”

About: Hello! My name is Savannah and I am a postdoctoral researcher in the biology department at IU. I have experience caring for all kinds of animals (dogs, cats, reptiles, fish and more). I have experience with small and large dogs, hyperactive/nervous dogs, as well as senior dogs so you can be assured that I know how to handle just about any dog personality. I am very responsible, considerate and dedicated to making sure your pets are happy and healthy. I consider it an honor to be welcomed into your pet’s life and take my job very seriously. Please feel welcome to ask me any and all questions you might have. Thank you so much for considering me! I cannot wait to hear from you and your pet! I have fairly flexible working hours as I largely can make my own schedule. I am available during the week and weekends as well as holidays. I have a fenced in yard if you would like your pet to stay with me, but I am also happy to take them for walks in addition to letting them play in the backyard. I have three dogs of my own that are all very friendly and I have ways to separate dogs from each other if need be so they don’t all have to interact at the same time.
“Trista did a great job with our girls as always. She sent photos and daily updates to us so we knew how the girls were doing. She had them all packed up and ready to go for us when we got there. We will definitely continue to use her as our dogs’ sitter.”

“Tawny once again came through for us and our last minute trip. I very much appreciate the prompt communication and flexibility. Finn is well cared for and came home happy. Thank you!”

“We are so grateful for the care Matthew and Ellie gave to our dog Marla. This was our first time using Rover and we were very nervous. Matthew and Ellie let us come to their home to see everything and how more the would feel at their place. They are very open and respectful. Marla had a wonderful time they provided daily pictures. They were very responsive to any messages. They were in constant communication with us and were also very flexible when we needed to extend marvelous care. We are very pleased with how everything went and will definitely be using them again in the future. I especially appreciated how they seemed to not just see this as a job, but actually enjoyed having Marla as part of their family.”

“Mason has been such a great sitter! He first started with boarding my pup at his home and then has helped with drop in. He is very communicative and flexible. I absolutely recommend using him!”

“Deborah is such a great sitter for our pup! She always sends lots of pics and videos and our pup is exhausted after any time spend there since she gets to run around and play so much! You should book with Deborah for your next time out of town!”

About: I’m currently a Junior in college and I miss my dogs at home, which is what made me want to become a sitter on rover. I have two bernedoodles at home. One is 4 year old and one is 6 months old, so I’ve had experience training both of them and caring for both of them. I also walked a neighborhood golden doodle frequently in high school. Last summer I nannied a family with an adorable pitbull that I cared for in addition to the children. I also had a golden retriever growing up for 12 years. I love all ages, sizes, and breeds of dogs. I have a summer class from 9-12 every morning, but other than that I can be home all day. I spend most of my time studying at home, but love to go for walks as study breaks and I live a very active lifestyle, which dogs would fit into perfectly. I also love being outdoors and I live alone so I’d love the company of a furry friend. It really depends on the client and how they want me to care for their pet. I want to do as much as I can to make their dogs feel at home and at ease. I’ve seen how hard it is for my own dogs back at home to adjust to a new environment, so I want to provide a healthy environment for other people’s dogs. When I get clients I make sure to ask them about their dogs routine, so I can do my best to mimic that.
“Kelsey has a wonderful and kind energy. I truly can’t say enough good things about our experience with her. Spot was immediately made to feel like one of her family and I loved getting updates and photos of him receiving so much attention and love, especially from her daughter his new BFF. My only fear was that Spot was having too much fun and would be sad to leave. We definitely have to plan another trip so Spot can go back to visit his new friends.”

Mary Jane P was awesome!. It was the first time I ever left Maggie, my Boston Terrier pup, with anyone. She introduced her to her own pets and she learned about some socialization skills from them. Mary Jane continued working with her on training. She was awesome. I would ask her to watch my pets anytime there is need.

We did a weekend boarding, and my dog got along great with Isis's playful dogs during the first meet and greet! But she may have been overwhelmed during the weekend stay because she had multiple accidents in Isis's house and got into the trash can. Although it's not in the sitter bio that you can expect pics or updates, future clients would benefit from receiving photos or updates throughout the stay. I did get one photo after asking though!

Elena had good communication, a clean environment, and friendly disposition. It was my first time leaving my pets. They’re very small and young so I was nervous. Upon arrival, I felt comfortable to leave them in her care. When I picked them up after they stayed for two nights, they seemed happy and healthy just as I’d left them :)

If it were possible to leave 8 stars, I would do it... Yann and Deqi (and Shadow) were superb. My dog was a COVID puppy, and didn't get the normal socialization as a little one, and she's always been very unsure of other dogs and somewhat tentative about new people. They have changed that: she is now much more eager to meet new friends, both human and canine - she even has a new bark... a happy, greeting yip when she sees new dogs. All that aside, Deqi and Yann were great caregivers and hosts, and sent lots of photos and videos, and my pup is eager to go visit again. I couldn't recommend them any more highly. Manny thanks!

Katie did such an amazing job with Winston!! He’s a big boy with a ton of energy but he was so happy to have his staycation ❤️❤️ Katie’s help gave us peace of mind and we will continue to use her as our primary Rover. Thank you so much for taking wonderful care of our boy!

Melissa and David always take excellent care of my puppy. Loved all the photos and videos they would send while I was away for a week. Chili Dog needs a lot of stimulation and loves to chase Milo around so I always feel like she's in great hands with them! Appreciate that they have a fenced in yard she can run in and they took her on nice walks at Bryan Park! 5/5 stars highly recommend

Katherine was wonderful with my dog! She took great care of Huxley. He is a very energetic dog and she kept him happy and well exercised through walks and play time. Huxley came back in a great mood and she kept me updated on how he was doing the entire time. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and hopefully I will be able to have her watch the pooch again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
