“Chelsea did a fabulous job taking care of our dog. We also appreciated her quick communication and willingness to watch our dog as a last minute booking and to add on a day when we wanted to extend our trip. Highly recommend.”

“We had a great experience with Mariah! She took amazing care of Goose and kept us updated with thoughtful, detailed messages the entire time, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear she really paid attention to his routine, behavior, and little quirks. Goose got plenty of exercise, attention, and care, and we came home to a happy (and tired!) pup. We would absolutely trust her to watch Goose again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“In Bloomington for my mother-in-law’s birthday. Mika enjoyed her stay at Mary Jane’s place. We had a virtual meet-up the day before, and they kept us updated with pictures and Mika’s status. Grateful for their care while we’re away.”

“Can’t say enough good things about Celsei! She was quick to reply and agree to watch our dog on 48 hours notice. She was a GREAT communicator and kept me in the loop about how he was doing with pictures and videos, which really set my mind at ease. Our boy was WORN OUT when we got home from playing with her and her dogs. 10/10! We will definitely come to Celsei for future sitting.”

“Madison was wonderful and flexible. First, we were able to modify our dates before the trip. Second. We ran into traffic on our way home and Madison was able to watch our dog for extra tune until we got home. We got picture updates and our dog was happy.”

“Trista watched our two girls over the weekend and they both took to her easily. We received pictures and updates daily. We will be using Trista’s services again in the future.”

“Wonderfully patient with my cat, Charlie, who needed time to adjust to their cat and dog. After spending some solo time with our Charlie in closed off parts of the house, Charlie voluntarily entered the rest of the house, accepting of her new friends! I appreciated Matthew and Ellie taking the required time and care to make the adjustment go well. Will definitely consider using them again.”

“Deborah was great about sending updates and treating our pup like family :). He had such a great time. Will definitely be checking with her first when we need boarding again!”

“This was Sammy’s third stay with Tawny. As usual, she was great with communication, flexible with drop off & pickup, has a lovely space for dogs, he came home a happy and tired pup, and we were able to enjoy our time away without worrying about Sammy. Will definitely book with her again.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Bloomington
“"Perfect" is the one word I would use for my doggie daycare interaction with Catherine! This was Maves first anything without one of use being with her. She is a highly active 7 month old puppy. Catherine was so great with her. I really felt my pupper was safe and being well taken care of. Updates of photos and text during the day and answered immediately when I wanted an additional update. Then when we got there for her second day, Mave was SUPER excited to be there again! That is when I knew this was the “Perfect” place for her to stay on daytrips or any other time I need. I will request Catherine each time I am south of Indy for vacations or one day getaway. Thank you Catherine, you made an enjoyable week even better!”

“Augie had a wonderful time with Mary Jane and family. This was the first time we left Augie with anyone; Mary Jane made us feel reassured and calm. We had a terrific get away and Augie had a great day! Thank you, Janine & Bruce”
About: My fiancé and I have cared for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments, from puppies to senior dogs requiring special attention. Our experience includes feeding according to dietary needs, ensuring regular exercise through walks and playtime, administering medications, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. And let’s not forget, all the cuddles your pup will allow! Pet care fits seamlessly into our weekly routine, as both my fiancé, Renas, and I work from home. I work part-time and he works full-time, which means one of us is always home to provide attentive care. Renas shares my love for animals and is always actively involved in caring for the pets we welcome. Our schedules are flexible and fully adaptable to meet your pet’s unique needs. While your pet is in our care, we will follow any schedule/routine that fits your pets needs. We will also ensure proper feeding/watering and any dietary restrictions. Pets will have regular walks and playtime as well as proper physical and mental stimulation such as engaging in games or activities that cater to the pet’s personality and energy level. If games and activities aren’t your pets cup of tea, we can be great couch potatoes and cuddle buddies as well. Maintaining a clean pet environment is a priority ensuring their space is free from hazards. Any basic grooming needs will also be provided. Last but not least, we are happy to keep pet owners updated regularly through messages, pictures, or videos to provide peace of mind. (Pets are allowed on furniture and are welcome to sleep in bed if preferred 😊) Side note- We live in a two story home on a half acre lot that backs up to a wooded area. Our yard is not fenced in so dogs will need to be leashed when going outside. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly with tree lined streets and sidewalks on both sides. There’s also several trails nearby that’s great for dog walking and adventures!
“We cannot recommend Kim enough! Firstly, she was willing to take us last minute and was very accommodating and communicative (with pics!). When we first got there we did a slow introduction with the other dogs there and left after everyone felt confident the dogs would get along. You can tell Kim loves what she does, we felt really comfortable and happy knowing we were leaving Goose in Kim’s capable hands. Goose came back to us tired (in the best way possible) and happy. We already have another appointment with Kim on the books and can’t wait to book with her again. Thanks, Kim! :)”

“Misty enjoyed her stay at Kelly’s”. Misty usually resists when we drop her off at daycare centers, but she went happily when we dropped her at Kelly”s house. That was the kind of wonderful care that Kelly provided.”

“Tawny was fantastic! Was able to get me and my friends dog in on short notice! She was great to work with, and I felt very good about leaving my babies with her! Thank you!!!”

About: I own a King Charles Cavalier and a German Shepherd currently! I grew up on a farm in southern Indiana with multiple foster and adopted animals! I have lots of time on my hands, currently we start our mornings with a good meal and a long walk along our neighborhood. We will head to the house for a quick nap or so that our older dogs and puppies can rest. We then head to either the local state park or a dog park for some new stimulation. When we return home, we have some free time with toys and puzzles, enjoy another good meal, take another long, walk around the neighborhood, and then cuddle on the couch or in the beds until bedtime. I don’t have a fence in yard however, we have multiple leashes here as well as one that you would prefer to use. All of our animals are continuously monitored, I work part-time, and we also have cameras in the house. Feel free to request photos or videos of your baby at any point in time.

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Bloomington

About: Hi! I’m Michelle, and animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had rescue dogs and cats, and caring for them has been one of the greatest joys in my life. I’ve raised and cared for several of my own rescues. I’ve also fostered and occasionally foster failed before ultimately adopting. Through those experiences I’ve cared for pets with very different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve worked with animals ranging from tiny kittens to gentle giants like Great Pyrenees. I’m a dependable, detail-oriented person who understands that every pet has their own routine. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’ll do my best to make them feel comfortable and loved. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates and photos while your pet is in my care. My goal is for you to have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is being treated like one of my own. Spending time with animals is one of my favorite parts of the week. I keep my schedule organized so I can provide reliable, dependable care. I’m available for morning and evening visits during the workweek, as well as weekends, and I’ll always communicate clearly if I have any scheduling limitations. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, especially while their family is away. In your home, I’ll follow your pet’s schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide.
About: Hi there! I’m an avid animal lover with a gentle, patient approach to pet care. I share my home with a sweet kitty named Evie and my rescue beagle, Mylo: a lovable goofball who keeps me humble and well‑trained. I always look after every pet with the same attentiveness, patience, and high quality care I give my own little crew. 🐾 Before pursuing social work, I actually planned to become a veterinary technician, and that early passion for animals has stayed with me. I’ve volunteered at the Wabash animal shelter, spent years riding horses, and gained hands‑on experience with all kinds of personalities and needs. Mylo, who struggles with anxiety, has taught me a lot about de‑escalating reactivity and building trust through positive reinforcement. He also takes daily medication, so I’m very comfortable administering meds and following specific care routines. Mylo likes to think of it as his “evening treat with extra steps.” Over the past several years, I’ve pet‑sat for friends, family, and their extended circles. This has allowed me to care for pets of all ages and ranging needs. No matter the temperament, I adapt to each animal’s personality, mood, and boundaries. Striving to create a calm, reassuring environment where your pet feels understood is central to my approach as a caregiver. Please reach out if you have any questions! Your pet's comfort is my priority ❤️ My schedule is currently very open as I wrap up my internship, and I’m available for daily check‑ins, walks, and overnight stays! Please feel free to reach out with any questions, I’m always happy to connect. ❤️🐕🦺🎾 I love caring for pets where they feel safest, their home 🏡🐾. While I’m there, I carefully follow your pet’s routine and keep their space clean and comfortable, so you return to a happy, relaxed fur baby and a home that feels just as you left it (or better).
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was little. I grew up with dogs and cats all around within my family. I started pet sitting for other families when I was little and love all animals. I will take the time to make sure your pet has the best time with the best care! I work a part time job this summer so I do have plenty of time to take care of your pet. I am free mainly in the mornings because I work at night mostly but I do not work long shifts so any animal will be let out in a timely manner. I live in a town house with a lot of space. I do not have a fenced in yard but do live very close to dog parks and I have a lot of grassy areas all around my house for dogs to go out and play. I love going on walks and would love taking dogs with me for some exercise and fun.
About: I've taken care of pets for more than seven years, from dogs and cats to birds, fish, and rabbits. I have experience with kittens, and with seniors that need a little extra help. I know how scary it can be to leave your pets at home, so my goal is to give them the highest level of love and care possible so you can feel peace of mind while you're away. I'm currently working on a master's degree, so my schedule is very flexible with only a couple classes every day. I'm comfortable with either drop-in or overnight roles, and will have plenty of time to make sure your pets get lots of attention! I am always extremely careful to follow all of the details of the care plan to keep your pets and home safe. Whether that's triple checking to make sure that escape artists stay where they need to, or sitting with a senior cat for an hour to make sure he eats, or helping a mobility-challenged dog down the porch stairs safely, I will do whatever it takes to keep your pets healthy, happy, and safe.

“Sara did a great job, especially on short notice. She picked up Piper on time and too her for a nice long walk - even reported how many times she peed and pooped!! Very satisfied.”

About: I have owned pets since I was small and have been pet sitting professionally for 5 years. I am completely trustworthy in your home and with your pets. I will do all tasks to your specifications and understand that each pet owner has their unique way of doing things and will keep it the same. I will keep your house very clean while you are away. I wash pet dishes each day, change all water dishes each day. I am up for walks and playing with toys and will give as much petting as your pet prefers. I will keep you in close contact with daily updates and photos. I am fine with senior dogs and giving medication as well. I am a mom with grown children out of the house and will be solid for you. I have a flexible schedule and will work with your preferred times for me to come. I don't do overnight stays (but can recommend someone who does) but can come several times a day if that works for you and your pet. In your home I will always check that all doors are securely locked when I leave and always do a quick sweep of the home to make sure nothing is amiss and that the pets have not gotten into any trouble. I am completely trustworthy and would never take anything from your home or even look in your cabinets. I will keep your house clean, pet dishes cleaned each day, litter boxes cleaned twice a day, and anything else you specify for your pet. Pets will get my undivided attention while I am with them and utmost care.
About: I have been around and loved dogs for my entire life. One of our family dogs had two litters while I was in high school and I helped take care of and raise the puppies. I also frequently pet-sat for neighbors and friends. Last year my wife and I adopted a puppy from Puerto Rico who we adore. I look forward to giving your pets the care and love they deserve! I do freelance work as a musician and dancer, so I have a fairly unpredictable schedule. Currently I am available on weekdays from 8 AM to 10 PM but I can be available on some weekends. I am happy to play with your dogs in their home or yard, to work on training as needed (our dog has been in training courses for around six months), or to do whatever else your dog will enjoy! I also enjoy walks and am happy to take your dog around the neighborhood or to nearby parks.

About: I have been around dogs and multiple cats ever since I was 5, but have been pet sitting for a year as additional income. I have dog sat a range of breeds from german shepherds to Maltese's. My routine when I go on walks is as needed for the dog, but on average 3 walks a day (morning, afternoon, night) if you live in a neighborhood/condo, may vary depending on location. Please feel free to ask questions! I am currently a senior at Indiana University, and I have classes on Tuesday and Thursdays. So, I will have plenty of time for your pets! I love to go on evening walks with my roommates, play lacrosse, read, and attend IU football games! Ideally I would go to/stay your home so that your pet(s) are as comfortable as possible! I will cater my routine to your pets personality, if they are an early riser, so am I. If they like to lounge and watch 101 Dalmatians, so do I. I am here to make you and your pets lives easier!
About: I've been caring for dogs for eight years! I started in high school when I regularly looked after my neighbor's three dogs for anywhere from a few days to a couple of months at a time. I quickly learned each dog's individual needs: their walk schedule, bathroom habits, eating preferences, and how to get them to take their meds. They were all different sizes and breeds, and I loved every minute of it. Since then I've expanded my experience through Rover, caring for multiple dogs across a variety of households. When I visit, I'm responsible and thorough. I make sure water bowls are filled, each dog gets real playtime and attention, meals are portioned correctly, and everything is secure before I leave. Honestly, animals are just a huge part of my everyday life. I have my own gray cat named Pluto, who I've had for six years and who is absolutely the light of my life. Between my sisters and my closest friends, I'm around anywhere from two to six cats on any given day, so pets are my life. I would have had a dog too if my parents had let me! I treat every dog I visit like they're my own. There's something so special about bonding with a pet since they're each so unique, and getting to make new furry friends through is an absolute joy. I just finished my undergraduate degree so I'm on summer break before I start my graduate program in August. This means that I am completely flexible and can come in on any days at any times to care for your fur babies! For drop-ins, I cover all the basics: food, water, cleaning up messes, bringing in the mail, making sure everything is locked up tight. But what I care about most is that each pet actually feels loved while their owner is away. I take my time with every visit and give each animal real attention, not just a quick pass-through. When pets are worried, anxious, or want to play, I like to spend a lot of extra time with them so they can feel safe and loved.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I grew up with rabbits and took care of neighbors pets regularly. As an adult, I have been petsitting consistently for about two years. I am attentive, caring, experienced, and kind. I can’t wait to meet your pets. I am a doctoral student, so I have some flexibility in my schedule. I’m booked up until 6pm on Wednesdays, but have more flexibility the rest of the week. I can take your pup for walks around the neighborhood, campus, or the many parks Bloomington has to offer. I have a comfy dog bed for canine visitors to lounge in while I’m studying.

I am currently working a full time job that is very flexible, so I have plenty of time to devote to your pets! Drop ins and house sitting are my primary options! I’ve done it all: pet sitting, long or short walks, boarding and, of course, taking care of my own pets! I’ve given medication to dogs/cats of various ages and sizes. We can go for walks, hikes, swim and even have a park day. If your dog is less active, I can adjust our activity level!

About: Hi! I’m Samantha, a lifelong animal lover and proud pet parent of 13 years. For over a decade, I have cared for my own pets and have also had the pleasure of pet sitting annually for four wonderful families. Whether it is walks, playtime, or feeding, I treat every animal like my own. I am available during 12:00 PM-1:00 PM most weekdays for a quick visit and after 5:00 PM. I am available most weekends for all hours. I personally do not do dog/cat sitting in my own home. I do have a lovely 1 year old mini Schnauzer named Suki and had a beloved mini Schnauzer named Layla for 9 years!
About: I have plenty of experience taking care of animals growing up. I spent some time caring for my family's disabled dog, so I am not afraid of tackling some extra conditions. Friends and family have loved me as a top choice for petsitting. I can work weekends pretty consistently. As long as I have a notice ahead of time (preferably two weeks), then I am able to accommodate most times. I do best with specific instructions. I do not mind spending a little extra time hanging out with them because I know how lonely they can get when they miss you!

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and energy levels. I’m reliable, active, and understand that every pet has their own routine and personality. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, or just some extra attention while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. As a college student, I’m organized, responsible, and committed to keeping pet owners updated with photos and messages throughout each stay. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide walks, drop-in visits, and attentive care throughout the day. I’m reliable, responsive, and committed to making sure pets stick to their normal routines while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has different needs, and I always take the time to learn their routine, preferences, and any special instructions. Safety is my top priority, whether that means using secure leashes, following feeding schedules, administering basic care, or making sure pets are comfortable in their environment. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I would expect for my own.

“Maddie had such a good time with Isabella! She was so gentle and caring, and made sure Maddie got plenty of walks and attention. I highly recommend her- she'll take great care of your pets and put your mind at ease.”

About: I love animals so much that I made it my career! As an Animal Sciences graduate with 12 years of experience in Veterinary Medicine, 3 years of fostering rescues, and 5 years of raising farm animals, you can trust that I have seen it all. My expertise includes medical management, basic training for puppies, senior care, and working with shy or high energy puppers. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities which means your pet will receive the individualized care they deserve. *I am also available for livestock, pocket pets, avian or exotic animal care. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby 🐾 I'm currently working nearby (15min) in a flexible job where I can create my own schedule/hours. This gives me the ability to go in late, leave at lunch to let pets out/ give mid-day medications, or leave work early. If I have to go into work or leave the house, I have comfy dog beds, toys, and peanut butter Kongs to keep your fur baby cozy and happy until I return. If your pet prefers to be kenneled, I can provide a small or large kennel. Pet cameras are also installed in the house to give you the extra peace of mind that your dog is monitored even when I am away. Our home is on a quiet gravel road that borders the forest, so your pet can enjoy some tranquility while being entertained by wildlife. I have a fenced yard with two friendly dogs to keep your pet company. Both dogs have had years of experience with foster dogs in our home and being around other animals in the veterinary clinic. My daughter also lives in the home and is an animal lover like me. She has grown up learning how to give animals the care and space they need. My daughter shows yearly in 4H Obedience and Agility and would love to play with your pet if they desire a human playmate. While she may be around your pet(s), she will never be left alone or responsible for them. We have cameras in the yard and home to monitor the pets while we are away. Pets can be separated by rooms or kennels on request or if I need to leave for work or an appointment. I can provide kenels from small-large size and/or a private apartment for those that need their own quiet space.
“We knew our dog Pepper was in great hands when we left her with Katie for the weekend! Katie clearly adores animals and treats them as if they were her own. She sent us several updates and photos, and it was clear Pepper was living the good life while we were away. Will absolutely be booking Katie again!”

“What a great experience! Kelli and her husband Curtis are the nicest people I've ever met! Check-ins and photos made it clear they really cared for my dog and made her feel at home. The country setting was ideal. My dog Cassie loved it!”
