“Nora was great with Stevie, and we will definitely be using her services again! She was very communicative, and you can tell she really loves dogs. Stevie had so much fun playing with Scarlet and another pup in her care. Thanks 😊”

“Mariah was an excellent sitter for our girl Millie. She sent us lots of pictures, and Millie looked so happy and cared for. She got lots of walks and hikes, as well as indoor playtime with doggy games and puzzles. She was also generously flexible with our pickup time. We are extremely satisfied and will definitely be booking with Mariah again!”

“Mary Jane was wonderful with our dog, Cooper! We had to book last minute, but she made the time to meet up with us to meet Cooper and get familiar with him before he stayed the weekend with her. She kept us updated with pictures all weekend long and he seemed happy when we picked him up. She even bought him a new toy when they couldn't find his old one lol. She's a very sweet person and will be the first person we contact when we need another overnight sitter for our pup!”

“We had the BEST experience with Celsei!!! This was our first time using rover because our boarding place couldn’t take our dog, Ronan, for the weekend. We received several much needed updates throughout his stay which helped these nervous parents remain comfortable! Not to mention, it was sort of last minute that we reached out, and Celsei had absolutely no problem taking him! We couldn’t be more thankful for her! ♥️”

“Madison was wonderful and flexible. First, we were able to modify our dates before the trip. Second. We ran into traffic on our way home and Madison was able to watch our dog for extra tune until we got home. We got picture updates and our dog was happy.”

“She was amazing there dog aurora is so cute and friendly. My dog had the best time and came home absolutely exhausted will definitely have them as my first choice for all bookings”

About: As a pet owner myself I know that our pets are our babies. (Lord knows I treat mine like my baby). I work from home so someone is always with your fur baby. We live about 5 minutes from Switchyard Park and like to walk the trail. Our apartment complex has a small dog park and a trail that is about half a mile long that we go on all the time. My dog is part husky so I know the importance of keeping dogs busy. We have multiple puzzles and toys ready to go. I’m very type A when it comes to my dog so you can expect the same with your pet. I’ll over communicate with you, send you photos daily, and let you know how your pup is adjusting. Safety and communication are always number one. I’ve grown up with pets all my life and baby sat for other dogs. My dog has some medical issues (a bad knee) so I’m no stranger to medication and keeping an eye out on existing injuries. If you want to meet up or see the environment your dog will be staying before hand, feel free to reach out to me! Since I work from home we take a lot of short walks through the day and I set up puzzles for them to play inside in case it’s too hot. I want to keep your dogs schedule as much as possible. A new environment for them can be stressful and if I can help ease some of that with following their schedule, I’m happy to do it! Your dog will have free range of our apartment. They’re allowed on all furniture and we have multiple dog beds in case they want their space. We have 2 crates in the house in case the dogs need to be crated and we will never have more than 2 dogs in the apartment (yours and mine only). We have a small dog park across the street of our apartment that will only be used if no other dogs are already there. Of course I will ask your preference if you’re comfortable with them going there or only walks.
“Lucy definitely made my dog feel comfortable. I appreciated the communication since I received a few pictures a day of my dog. Lucy did a great job and made sure to give my dog her medicine. Thank you!”

About: Hello! My name is Savannah and I am a postdoctoral researcher in the biology department at IU. I have experience caring for all kinds of animals (dogs, cats, reptiles, fish and more). I have experience with small and large dogs, hyperactive/nervous dogs, as well as senior dogs so you can be assured that I know how to handle just about any dog personality. I am very responsible, considerate and dedicated to making sure your pets are happy and healthy. I consider it an honor to be welcomed into your pet’s life and take my job very seriously. Please feel welcome to ask me any and all questions you might have. Thank you so much for considering me! I cannot wait to hear from you and your pet! I have fairly flexible working hours as I largely can make my own schedule. I am available during the week and weekends as well as holidays. I have a fenced in yard if you would like your pet to stay with me, but I am also happy to take them for walks in addition to letting them play in the backyard. I have three dogs of my own that are all very friendly and I have ways to separate dogs from each other if need be so they don’t all have to interact at the same time.
“Kelsie was so sweet to my dogs and they made themselves right at home. She sent me lots of pictures which was great. I really appreciated her taking them at the last minute on Memorial weekend! I will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Lindsie provided excellent care and attention for my little boy Otto. She was very good about sending me photos and reassuring me he was doing just fine with her. Otto is a 9 year old Miniature Schnauzer and used to just the two of us being together but he did very well with Lindsie. I highly recommend considering Lindsie as a sitter.”

“We are so grateful for the care Matthew and Ellie gave to our dog Marla. This was our first time using Rover and we were very nervous. Matthew and Ellie let us come to their home to see everything and how more the would feel at their place. They are very open and respectful. Marla had a wonderful time they provided daily pictures. They were very responsive to any messages. They were in constant communication with us and were also very flexible when we needed to extend marvelous care. We are very pleased with how everything went and will definitely be using them again in the future. I especially appreciated how they seemed to not just see this as a job, but actually enjoyed having Marla as part of their family.”

“Ziggy can be very anxious around new people so I'm always nervous leaving him but Kelly was great with him and with building his trust! I also loved all the photos and updates. He came back happy and tired from playing with all the dogs”

“Deborah was great about sending updates and treating our pup like family :). He had such a great time. Will definitely be checking with her first when we need boarding again!”

“Adam did a very good job looking after our two kitties. A clean litter box is very important to me and Adam cleaned it well! Overall, I would book Adam again in the future.”

About: I've taken care of cats for the past few years as my roommate had 2! I would watch them while she went on trips or even check in on them when she had longer days. I would love to get to know your cats!

“Sara has been the best pet sitter I’ve ever had. She took great care of my pet and sent me lots of detailed updates. She also asked professional questions beforehand, which made me feel confident that she was enjoying her time with my cat.”

“She is the best! She took care of everything that I asked for. She seems to enjoy being with my kitty and I was very assured when I was out of town. She took extra care to the health of my pet. I will definitely ask her again for taking care of my kitty. Thanks Samantha.”

“Shaun provided pictures of our kitties each visit while we were away and even brought a package in for us that had been delivered! I would be happy to have him keeping an eye on our cats again in the future!”

About: I’ve had cats since I was a baby, and cats are my favorite animals. I love how laid back and gentle they are. I’ve pet sit for cats since I was 9, and now I’m a 19 year old college student who would love to help out and spend time with cats in my time away from classes.

“Sarah went above and beyond caring for our cats when we were gone for two weeks! She was very proactive, and we really appreciated how she stuck to our cats regular feeding schedule and routine. It gave us peace of mind during our trip knowing our cats were being so well taken care of.”

“Lauren did a great job taking care of my sweet and quirky cat Opal while we were out of town. She followed all instructions and sent great picture and video updates throughout the weekend. Would highly recommend her for a pet sitter!! Thanks so much Lauren!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for cats for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I regularly looked after stray cats in my home country by feeding them and making sure they were cared for whenever I could. That experience taught me to be patient, gentle, and attentive to each cat’s unique personality. I also have my own senior cat, so I understand the extra care, routine, and attention older cats often need. I’m comfortable feeding cats, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, giving them playtime and affection, and respecting their individual comfort levels. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll treat your cat with the same care and kindness that I give my own.
“Madison was great with our puppy, she did drop in vista. While caring for our dog, she played fetch with her while allowing her plenty of time to do her business outside. She was great with sending pictures and very responsive with text messages.”

About: I've only had a cat for a year now, but I take care of him when my roommate needs assistance. I have fed, watered, cleaned his litter box, and played with him while she is gone. I also have learned the body language of cats. Most cats have liked me when I was growing up and I would say I am a pretty patient person, so I don't get upset if they don't initially like me either.
“Patricia took great care of our cat while we were away. She was very responsive to communication and gave us thorough reports for each visit. We really appreciate the time she took to give our cat plenty of playtime and cuddles!”

“Vivian took great care of our cat! She clearly made the effort to really give him all of the attention and playtime possible during the drop-in and that's easily the most interaction he has been given by a pet sitter. He can be a little shy but warmed up quick.”

“Augie had a wonderful time with Mary Jane and family. This was the first time we left Augie with anyone; Mary Jane made us feel reassured and calm. We had a terrific get away and Augie had a great day! Thank you, Janine & Bruce”
“So great!!!! Nova had the best time. Not sure she wanted to even come home!!! She played so much with nova who has so much energy. Her home was beautiful and clean and perfect for a little puppy..lol!! Great back yard! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ❤️”

“We cannot recommend Kim enough! Firstly, she was willing to take us last minute and was very accommodating and communicative (with pics!). When we first got there we did a slow introduction with the other dogs there and left after everyone felt confident the dogs would get along. You can tell Kim loves what she does, we felt really comfortable and happy knowing we were leaving Goose in Kim’s capable hands. Goose came back to us tired (in the best way possible) and happy. We already have another appointment with Kim on the books and can’t wait to book with her again. Thanks, Kim! :)”

“Kelly really saved me in a pinch and did exactly what I had in mind my for 2 dogs experiencing doggy daycare for the first time! I gave her a brief overview of their personalities and my expectations for the day and she provided an easy, stress-free day for me! She was also flexible with my drop off and pick up times possibly changing and was incredibly kind/understanding about me not being able to give her an idea of drop off/pick up. I would definitely book with her again!”

About: Hi, my name is Melinda of bark and stroll. I love animals. I have my own animal and I love taking care of animals inside my home or your home. I am retired, and I have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I love playing with them and taking them on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard. It’s not fenced in so I do walk the animals on a leash and we have some woods with paths near my house. If the dogs over 50 pounds I prefer them to be crate trained.
About: I own a King Charles Cavalier and a German Shepherd currently! I grew up on a farm in southern Indiana with multiple foster and adopted animals! My mother instilled a serious love and adoration for people and their favorite pets. I volunteered at our local animal shelter, was trained in multiple animal science courses, and was taught to love and respect the animals I work with, both domesticated and exotic. I have handled dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, foxes, raccoons, bobcats, farm livestock, petting zoo animals, and more. I love them and have tons of professional experience to give your fur-baby the best experience possible. Please feel free to message or call whenever needed and I am more then happy to accommodate ANYTHING you or your sweet pet needs. I have lots of time on my hands, currently we start our mornings with a good meal and a long walk along our neighborhood. We will head to the house for a quick nap or so that our older dogs and puppies can rest. We then head to either the local state park or a dog park for some new stimulation. When we return home, we have some free time with toys and puzzles, enjoy another good meal, take another long, walk around the neighborhood, and then cuddle on the couch or in the beds until bedtime. I don’t have a fence in yard however, we have multiple leashes here as well as one that you would prefer to use. All of our animals are continuously monitored, I work part-time, and we also have cameras in the house. Feel free to request photos or videos of your baby at any point in time.

I am a retired teacher and have a flexible schedule. I can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening schedules. I am also available for overnight stays for both pet and house sitting. I am able to meet all expectations while caring for your pet at home. I have a large country property to provide stimulating outdoor time for overnight furry guests. About: Hi there! I’m an avid animal lover with a gentle, patient approach to pet care. I share my home with a sweet kitty named Evie and my rescue beagle, Mylo: a lovable goofball who keeps me humble and well‑trained. I always look after every pet with the same attentiveness, patience, and high quality care I give my own little crew. 🐾 Before pursuing social work, I actually planned to become a veterinary technician, and that early passion for animals has stayed with me. I’ve volunteered at the Wabash animal shelter, spent years riding horses, and gained hands‑on experience with all kinds of personalities and needs. Mylo, who struggles with anxiety, has taught me a lot about de‑escalating reactivity and building trust through positive reinforcement. He also takes daily medication, so I’m very comfortable administering meds and following specific care routines. Mylo likes to think of it as his “evening treat with extra steps.” Over the past several years, I’ve pet‑sat for friends, family, and their extended circles. This has allowed me to care for pets of all ages and ranging needs. No matter the temperament, I adapt to each animal’s personality, mood, and boundaries. Striving to create a calm, reassuring environment where your pet feels understood is central to my approach as a caregiver. Please reach out if you have any questions! Your pet's comfort is my priority ❤️ My schedule is currently very open as I wrap up my internship, and I’m available for daily check‑ins, walks, and overnight stays! Please feel free to reach out with any questions, I’m always happy to connect. ❤️🐕🦺🎾 I love caring for pets where they feel safest, their home 🏡🐾. While I’m there, I carefully follow your pet’s routine and keep their space clean and comfortable, so you return to a happy, relaxed fur baby and a home that feels just as you left it (or better).
About: Hi! I’m Alana 😊 I provide reliable, attentive care so your pet can stay comfortable while you’re away. I started volunteering at a humane society in middle school and later gained hands-on experience shadowing veterinary technicians at IndyVet. This helped me learn how to read animal body language, handle different temperaments, and provide safe, attentive care. Growing up, my family had golden retrievers, pit bulls, cats, bunnies, and hamsters, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of pets and personalities. I now have three miniature dachshunds of my own, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’ll treat your furry friend with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own! I work full time throughout the week. I am typically available during the evenings on Monday - Thursday, and then all day on Friday - Saturday! Because I have three dogs of my own, I prefer to have your dogs come to my home for overnight sitting. I understand how important our furry friends are and how difficult it can be to be away from them. That’s why I like to learn as much as possible about each pet ahead of time. Knowing their routines, preferences, and personality helps me create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while you’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 10, including dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, and horses, and have some dog training experience. I am currently working full time, but am more than happy to dedicate all my time outside of work to your pet. I am willing to work around whatever schedule they are used to in order to make sure they remain as comfortable as possible. I remain very attentive to what the pet needs, and I make sure to accommodate for whatever recommendations my clients would like to see being done. I am also willing to work around whatever is needed for them to remain happy and healthy.

I am currently a full time student so I would totally be down to watch dogs and cats all day while my clients go to work or out of town.

“Thank you Katherine! Thank you for accommodating Penne Linguine during our visit to Bloomington! I appreciated all the extra efforts..I think Penne wants to stay with you guys!”

“Absolutely wonderful with my two dogs; they were taken very good care of, and I got daily pupdates! She was very responsive and understanding to the times I needed to drop off/ pick up my dogs. I will most certainly be boarding my dogs here again when needed.”
