My name is Wren (legal name Anna, which appears on this profile), and I have experience caring for young dogs and senior dogs in an overnight petsitting/ housesitting capacity. I also have experience doing daily check-ins and providing enrichment or exercise for dogs whose owners are busy with work or other tasks. I have experience giving medication (in pill form) and also with walking and interacting with anxious dogs. My former dog was dog reactive when on leash and I have a lot of patience in walking other dogs with similar demeanors. From a young age, I have been fascinated by the natural world and would spend hours researching animals and learning all I could about them. I truly believe humans don't exist at the top of some hierarchy, but that all creatures are valuable and deserve the time, patience, and compassion to be understood. I think pets are perhaps the best companions we could ask for. I know how important my animals are to me, and I want to provide the same compassion and care for others.

I will come to you and your pet and walk them from your house. I can also give medication or do playtime at your house. Former clients have trusted me with keys or codes to access the home, but I always do whatever is most comfortable for the client and have been told that I am a responsible person with regard to this matter.

Wren took such incredibly care of our special needs dog Chon. Chon has limited use of his front legs and requires a wheelchair and has some reactivity to strangers. Chon experienced really strange symptoms while we were gone and Wren kept us updated and was extremely ingenuitive in finding ways to accommodate my special needs dog.

I couldn't be happier with Anna and the care she provided for my dog. My dog is 9 years old and also has some special needs (on anxiety meds), and I felt so at ease knowing that Anna was looking after her. She communicated proactively and sent me pictures and updates while I was away. I'm glad I already have her booked for my next out-of-town trip!

Wren is a fantastic dog sitter! She was communicative and sent lots of great pictures while we were out of town. Grizzly loved their time together and has been tired after all the time playing and walking. We will definitely be booking with Wren again!
Anna (“Wren”) takes care of our nearly 14 year old dog when we go on trips. As you can imagine, an older dog is pretty set in his ways and has some special needs. Anna/Wren does a great job meeting both his schedule and his daily needs. She loves animals in general, and dogs and cats in particular. While biased, I would recommend Wren for your pet’s care needs.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and am not currently employed, so I have time for you and your pets. I help care for my parents' senior dog when needed and I take care of my own two cats.
