My name is Wren (legal name Anna, which appears on this profile), and I have experience caring for young dogs and senior dogs in an overnight petsitting/ housesitting capacity. I also have experience doing daily check-ins and providing enrichment or exercise for dogs whose owners are busy with work or other tasks. I have experience giving medication (in pill form) and also with walking and interacting with anxious dogs. My former dog was dog reactive when on leash and I have a lot of patience in walking other dogs with similar demeanors. From a young age, I have been fascinated by the natural world and would spend hours researching animals and learning all I could about them. I truly believe humans don't exist at the top of some hierarchy, but that all creatures are valuable and deserve the time, patience, and compassion to be understood. I think pets are perhaps the best companions we could ask for. I know how important my animals are to me, and I want to provide the same compassion and care for others.

I will come to you and your pet and walk them from your house. I can also give medication or do playtime at your house. Former clients have trusted me with keys or codes to access the home, but I always do whatever is most comfortable for the client and have been told that I am a responsible person with regard to this matter.

We can't say enough about the care and attention that Wren/Anna gave to our two dogs (and our home). The thoughtful photos and updates about Ruby and Roxy we received while we were away reassured us that they were safe and happy in kind, loving, hands. Faced with several rainy, muddy days and two energetic dogs, Wren even managed to leave the house in remarkably clean shape with a wonderful list of all the things that they had done together on our kitchen table. We highly recommend Wren and hope to book again!

Wren took such incredibly care of our special needs dog Chon. Chon has limited use of his front legs and requires a wheelchair and has some reactivity to strangers. Chon experienced really strange symptoms while we were gone and Wren kept us updated and was extremely ingenuitive in finding ways to accommodate my special needs dog.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and am not currently employed, so I have time for you and your pets. I help care for my parents' senior dog when needed and I take care of my own two cats.

- Please let me know about any special needs your dog has prior to me sitting for them.
