About: Hello! My name is Mackenzie. I have always loved animals, and I'm currently enjoying life with my lovely Samoyed, Nymeria (Meri). I typically work in biotech but was just recently laid off, so I am free to return to Rover once again! This means I have a very flexible schedule to provide whatever pet care services you require. I am very detail-oriented and will always ensure I have the information I need to do the best job possible. Please let me know if you have any questions! I have just been laid off from my 9 to 5, so I am currently building a new schedule for the first time in almost four years. My typical routine that I will be working around is always a minimum of three walks a day for my dog. We live next to Fresh Pond, which is basically dog and nature paradise (miles of nature trails and many other animals if you are unfamiliar). I am very deliberate in creating a space that is clean and free of hazards. I think having my dog has been instrumental in making me more aware of every possible thing an animal could get into, and I am naturally very mindful of safety in general. I am respectful of other people's homes - always acting like you are in front of other people is honestly just good general life advice if you think about it.

“Zijia took amazing care of my cat while I was away. My cat is usually shy around new people, but he warmed up quickly thanks to his gentle and patient approach. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat and a clean space. I would absolutely recommend Zijia to anyone looking for a kind and reliable pet sitter.”

About: I've been an animal lover my entire life! I have a ton of experience not only taking care of my dog, Josie, but also walking dogs, pet-sitting, feeding dogs and taking them to dog parks. Safety is my #1 priority (and fun of course!) I'm super flexible and work from home so I have all the time in the world to take care of your pup :) I typically work from home (in Medford) on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, and I am available on weekends. I have flexibility to take your dog out throughout the day for walks, bathroom breaks, to the dog park, etc! I live in the Tufts area of Medford and have a bike for clients further away so I can provide multiple visits throughout the day! Safety is my number one priority when taking care of pets. I always make sure pets have enough exercise, play and relaxing time. I’m very communicative and tend to send at least 1 picture per day to the owners when dogsitting or walking!

“Jennifer looked after our 2 senior cats for a week, feeding & doing morning/evening oral medications. She was very reliable, kept the cats area clean & tidy & took such good care of them. We loved getting photos of them at every visit & reading the reports of what they were up to! Highly recommend Jennifer!”

About: We’ve always had a dog at home and I love petting them, brushing them and playing with them. I’m unfortunately far from my family dog right now but we FaceTime regularly and she loves the lobster toys I bring her. I also used to pet sit my neighbor’s Cocker (and their dozens of fish) when they were on vacation. I work from home so I can be flexible with my schedule. Depending on the distance, I’m happy to take care of your dog mid-day. It can be so lonely for them all day without a companion! I unfortunately can’t pet sit in my apartment. I always walk a dog on a leash and I’m careful with what food I give them.

About: I've taken care of dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments for 25 years, starting when I was just a kid! Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, administering medication, or giving baths, I treat every dog like part of my own family. Neighbors, friends, and clients have consistently trusted me to care for their pets with patience, reliability, and compassion. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs, and I’m comfortable handling multiple pets at once. I strive to ensure each dog feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I work from home full-time, so pets that stay with me get attention all day long everyday. My schedule is very flexible for visits and walks, and I'll always prioritize what's best for your pups. Your pet's comfort and safety are always my top priorities. For house sitting, I respect and maintain your home as if it were my own—keeping your pet’s routine consistent and their environment familiar and stress-free. During boarding at my home, your pet will enjoy a calm, secure space with plenty of attention, outdoor time, and a clean environment that feels like a second home. For walks, I use will always use provided equipment and follow instructions as outlined. I'll tailor the pace to your dog’s energy level and needs. I always keep communication open and provide updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you're away. I live just off the minuteman path, so even dogs that require longer walks, less stimulation, or whatever other needs your pup may have will be taken care of. They'll be with my two dogs, Odis and Harper who are both very playful and will have your pup quite tired by the time you get them back.

“Sharon was excellent with our feisty kitty, as she always is. She kept us updated about his behavior each day and incorporated a new medication into their visit routine seamlessly.”

About: After booking my first dog sitting gig at 14, I've watched and walked all kinds of dogs. Since I grew up with big dogs, great Pyrenees, french mastiffs, I have always had a soft spot for the big guys. After my family got a small schnoodle, I love lap dogs as well. Most dogs I've watched/walked have been between 3-8 years old but I have no trouble adjusting to the excitement of a puppy or the leisure of an older dog. Since I have a lot of time on my hands, I am dedicated to taking care of your pet as if they were my own. I am currently taking online classes so my schedule is very flexible! I am available starting at 8am during weekdays and 10am on weekends. I can easily adjust my schedule to whatever your pup needs I live in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with no pets of my own. I have an enclosed balcony great for surpervised sun bathing. I have no yard but I love any exuse to go on a long walk or a dog park.

About: While I've never owned a dog myself, my love of them has extended out to others. I have experience walking and helping care for dogs dating back to high school when I would help care for our family friends' dogs in the Summer. I was also a volunteer dog walker during my senior year of college, walking a then 8-month-old puppy in the Fall and an older Dachshund in the Spring. I have experience with both younger and older dogs, and am more than happy to help walk yours! I work a 9-5 with a hybrid work schedule requiring me to be in the office every other week. Weekends will tend to be the best days for me but I am flexible and can work with you for weekdays if necessary. I am someone who does not mind pets being around me at all times. I am always responsive to needs and will strive to make sure your pet is always happy.

“Colleen did an incredible job taking care of our dog Epi while we were away! She made home visits in treacherous weather (snow/ice) and reassured us that she would get to Epi no matter what. She went above and beyond what was expected including clearing the snow/ice on our staircase for safety and brought in our mail. She provided detailed and helpful updates after every visit and followed all of our care instructions and left us feeling reassured and confident that Epi was receiving the best care.”

If I could give Bonnie 10 stars, I would. As the proud mom of an 18-year-old cat, I’m always a little nervous about leaving him for more than a few days at a time, but Bonnie completely put my mind at ease with great photos and frequent updates. She took great care of – and even spent extra time with – my guy, and it made my vacation even that much better. I’ll absolutely be booking her services again.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Neil took amazing care of our dog while we were away. He is responsible, kind, and clearly love animals. Our pup was super happy to see him all the time. We highly recommend Neil to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter!

Eunae is truly the best!!! After 5+ trips away with Eunae’s help, I always know that our cat Boo is in the best hands when she’s looking after him! Eunae sends the best updates with a ton of photos and details, which brings us so much comfort and joy when we’re away. She knows what toys and treats Boo likes, and I know Boo loves getting all the playtime and pets. Thank you again Eunae! 😊

Leaving my kitty with Anna put my mind at ease when I was away! She paid so much attention to detail when caring for Lucius, sent multiple updates, and had great communication. She is someone I will choose any time I need care and would recommend her to anyone!
