Dog Walking in Anchorage

About: Our dog passed away and I miss her very much. Recently relocated to Alaska and loving it! Have extra time on my hands to care for your furry bundle. I’ll take care of her/him/them like my own. Sorry I can’t commit to a reoccurring schedule at this time. Currently between jobs (indefinitely!) so I have plenty of time until then to give your loved ones attention. I love being outdoors so plenty of fresh air is not an issue or playing inside and curling up on sofa with your fluff ball is cool too. No problem if your pet prefers their own space, I am open to all types of personalities. Happy to care for pets in your home according to your normal routine. I am currently renting so care in my home is not an option. Thanks for understanding.

After getting to know your pet, I can take them on walks in new environments to encourage new training opportunities. I want to provide a safe environment for your fur baby and myself by being aware of any sensitivities or triggers. Your pet will receive top care while being set-up for success when spending time with me! Book with me & I’ll help make your life a little less stressful — your pet has a friend in me! I have a very flexible schedule and can take care of your pets in the afternoon or evenings during Monday-Friday. With ample notice, I can even take care of your pet in the mornings Monday-Friday. On weekends, I can take care of your pet at any time! I’ll make sure to provide a safe environment for everyone. I will care for your pet according to your instructions. If I am at your home, I will abide by your house rules and care for your pet accordingly. Your pet will be safe and cared for in my care.

About: I have spent most of my life caring for rescue animals. I grew up on a farm that rehabilitated race, horses and have continued to adopt and love animals in need. I have dog grooming experience, training, basic first aid/medical care (old pups and special needs). I currently am off for several months from working on the slope so I have all the time in the world to love your baby. Currently, I am off work from the slope till the winter so I have all the time in the world. Walks whenever needed. Dog park if they want. Whatever is best for your pet. Following your instructions on how best to care for them. And of course, lots of attention, lots of cuddles! If they are in my home, I have no problem with them.Being on my furniture or sleeping in bed.

About: I've been providing pet sitting for decades for all kinds of animals of many species. Both pets and non-pets. Booking me means I will research your pets breed and go over breed specific needs with you at the meet and greet, as well as their personality based needs. I currently have rabbits and used to have dogs, and my bestie's household has dogs and a tortoise. I have zero problems with taking care of plants or pet related chore. I have a portable carpet shampooer to clean up any messes that might happen. Just show me what the pets need for nourishment and enrichment and play, and I can take it from there. I'm also willing to do complex medical for pets. If you want me to sit for extra animals not listed, I will ask for more (5-20) per animal depending on level of care needed. I will walk any animal that wants to be walked. Species does not matter. You can meet me and my pets before hiring me and you can always cancel, no problem. I'm willing to do payment plans if you need to leave town with little notice. I'm willing to travel outside the Anchorage bowl, too, as far out as Talkeetna if you’re willing with work with me on gas. My office is also pet friendly to an extent so pets with their own enclosures are welcome to come with me to work. I can provide care during mornings, lunch breaks, after work, and weekends. My pets are free range most of the time so there's playmates. I'm happy to temporarily board animals in my home so long as they have their own enclosure OR if they are friendly with my pets. I'm happy to send pictures and video to keep you up to date on your pet. Walks (for species that like walks), play time, toys, music enrichment, games, etc. I'm very strong and I'm good with animals that have nervous behaviours. I've also cared for newborn puppies, rabbits, and kittens and can provide the round the clock care for new born pets that they need by keeping them with me at all times.

Because my house has two levels, I do have the ability to block the stairway and provide my cats with a sanctuary if the cats get tired of dog games.

About: I have been cat sitting and dog walking for the past two years for coworkers and family friends- and now I’m on Rover too! I’ve got two golden retrievers of my own who I love dearly as well! I am a student at the University of Vermont studying political science and history! During the summers I come home to Anchorage, Alaska. A typical day for me involves some sort of run or hike as well! I am responsible and communicative so rest assured your pets are in good hands. I have grown up with animals and feel confident in my ability to care for them.

I work full time with a nonprofit organization downtown that helps unhoused youths. My schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 2:30 pm - 10:30. My days off are Friday and Saturday. I can take one break depending on the how far the location is from my work to give a potty break.
