About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 5 years and have had both cats and dogs my entire life. Growing up around pets gave me experience with animals of all ages and personalities. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for every time we’re together. I’m a full-time college student with a flexible schedule outside of my classes. I plan my schedule carefully and will always communicate clearly to ensure your pet receives dependable, loving care. I’ll care for your pet in the comfort of their own home by following their normal routine and giving them the love and attention they deserve. About: I have over 8 years of experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m also a proud dog mom to three four-legged family members of my own, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. I have experience raising and caring for puppies and understand the extra patience, supervision, consistency, frequent potty breaks, and attention they need. I also have experience with dog training and have personally trained two service dogs, which has given me experience with positive reinforcement, routines, basic obedience, leash manners, and different dog behaviors. I’m comfortable caring for energetic puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs who may need a slower pace and some extra attention. About: I have owned and cared for dogs since I was a little girl . Currently I have a two very spoiled furbabies that are my life. We like to stay active by going for walks and outings to the dog park. I love dogs and feel comfortable handling all sizes/breeds. The last two years I’ve spent at a doggie daycare/boarding facility as a handler dealing with all shapes, sizes, breeds and even reactive dogs. I enjoy being active with dogs and providing them with activities so they don't get bored/destructive. I love going to parks, playing fetch, and going on long walks. Let me know what your dog's favorite activity is and I'll do my best to accommodate! I look forward to meeting you should you decide I’m a good match for you and your fur babies! I currently only work part time, on weekend nights, so would have plenty of time to be with your pet(s)! My schedule is very open I prefer watching dogs in their own home but have some flexibility at my house to possibly watch a dog there. My two dogs go with me as well, if able.

About: I grew up with dogs in the house and have walked and house sat for many clients. I have experience with puppy training, working with reactive dogs, working with high energy dogs and senior dogs, and have a special love for vizlas and other bird dogs My daily and weekly schedule vary from week to week since I’m a freelance worker but I’m typically free weekends and mornings and mid- afternoons. I like to prioritize keeping the space very clean, if not cleaner than I found it when caring for a home. In my home I’ve kept a very demanding pet which entailed early bathroom breaks, at least two 5+ miles a day, and plenty of reactivity training that entailed practicing meeting new people and dogs in comfortable environments. I also have experience with both cats and dogs that aren’t big people pets and know how to approach with respect to their autonomy and read their body language.

About: Hi! I’m Susie. I’ve always been an animal lover and know how much our pets mean to us. For years I’ve cared for my friends’ dogs whenever they traveled, and after realizing how much I enjoy it, I decided to join Rover. At home, I have a dachshund named Nugget and a cat named Cosmo, so caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. I live in a single-family home with my son, and we have a fully fenced backyard with a medium-sized doggy door, giving dogs plenty of room to safely play and explore. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home while they’re with us. I’ll follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and send regular photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home 4 days a week so I am available often. Thursday I go into the office 9-5, so animal would need to handle some alone time (crated/house trained) I follow instructions left by owner and if I need any further instructions I would contact owner. I am pretty laid back and animal would have full access to home and backyard.

About: I absolutely love pets, and I'm willing to bend over backwards to please your pet! I've only ever owned two dogs of my own, but I've cared for and dog-sat for many a friend over the years. I have experience with taking care of senior dogs, my own included, who often require special physical therapy for recovery or medications. I'm a teacher for the Anchorage School District, so pet care will be outside of my working hours. If your pet can remain happy at my home while I'm at work and they're okay with being alone for about 8 hours during the work day, they're welcome to stay with me. I'm available weekdays after 4 and weekends all day for at-home visits, dog walks, or other pet care. :) I have a fenced in yard and one friendly, older doggo of my own part time. (Her fur-daddy and I have shared custody, two weeks on, two weeks off). I'm familiar with giving prescriptions and care to sick doggos, as mine has been on medication for years for her heart condition, and has needed physical therapy treatments after various surgeries. I'll gladly visit your home if your pet prefers to remain in her/her environment.

About: I love animals and have had them in my home growing up my whole life, however my current building does not permit pets. It’s important to me to be around animals every day and I truly value the time I get to spend with them. I love getting to know new animals and their quirks, understand their needs and how to respond to their specific needs when their owner may be away for lengths of time. I have experience with senior care in ushering my own dog through the final years of his life and providing him with as comfortable and dignified an existence as I could, while also following doctors orders and administering prescriptions. I have experience with reactive and re-homed animals and am patient and sensitive to the traumatizing effects of being re-homed and/or having an unknown history. I’m detail oriented, reliable and timely, and am compassionate towards animals with limited capabilities. I’m good at this because animals are easy to love, I like to be active and meet them at their level of energy and ability, whatever that may be. I am also very happy to send photos and daily updates to provide peace of mind that your loved ones are being well taken care of. I work a flexible schedule with minimal hours and try to plan my life around spending time with animals that bring me joy. I enjoy getting up and out multiple times a day, exercise and movement are very important to me and pet care fits naturally with this. I think it’s important to enter with the mindset that each pet is different and will have their own needs and specific care instructions. I try to get outside at least once a day and am very sensitive to meeting your dog at their activity level. As a pet sitter in your home, the biggest thing that I have to offer your loved ones is security through reliable and consistent presence through the duration of the contract. Separation from an owner can be extremely tough on animals and providing an inconsistent or inattentive presence can be damaging and unfair. I am also a lover and will of course be showering your pet with loads and loads of love and attention!

About: I truly enjoy bonding and taking care of our little best friends . I have patience and experience providing care for animals throughout my life. I am currently at working full time , my work is done 50% remote and I have a flexible in office schedule that allows me to come and go as I need ; this allows me the opportunities to provide consistent care . I take the time to individualize care based of what your animal needs , I currently do not have any animals of my own residing in my home which has been a positive when boarding doggos that need there own space .

About: I grew up having and takin care of pets. I have 5 cats and 2 dogs (can't board pets!). I love animals and will do anything to keep them safe and happy! I can work with puppies, kittens, adult dogs and cats, even senior dogs and cats. I enjoy relaxing or playing with a pet and creating that special bond with them because having a connection with an animal can feel really special and it's eye-opening. I can pet sit in your home Sun-Thurs. On Mondays and Thursdays, I do have classes to attend from 3:30-6:30 so I will be unavailable during those times. I'd like to be full-time pet sitter at this moment :). I cannot have pets come to my home since I am living with family, we have our own pets and we don't want to risk any conflicts or issues. During the weekends (Fri-Sun) I’m usually at home to study, babysit my little cousins and my volunteer at the local cat shelter. I make sure doors and windows, anything, are locked so that pets don't escape. They tend to be curious of the outside world and would want to explore it however they can be eaten or ran over by a car and I'd hate to break that sad news to the fur baby's parents. I also make sure no tiny, swallow-able objects are on the ground so that pets don't accidentally eat it and potentially harm their insides. I also approach in a slow, calming manner so that the pet can trust and start building interest in me.
