“Izabelle took great care of my cats, and also did a couple of things around the house that made coming home more pleasant. She let the cats, who can be a bit nervous around new people, take their time getting to know her and made clear progress with them every day. By all measures, they seemed to have a great week!”

About: I have spent most of my life caring for rescue animals. I grew up on a farm that rehabilitated race, horses and have continued to adopt and love animals in need. I have dog grooming experience, training, basic first aid/medical care (old pups and special needs). I currently am off for several months from working on the slope so I have all the time in the world to love your baby. Currently, I am off work from the slope till the winter so I have all the time in the world. Walks whenever needed. Dog park if they want. Whatever is best for your pet. Following your instructions on how best to care for them. And of course, lots of attention, lots of cuddles! If they are in my home, I have no problem with them.Being on my furniture or sleeping in bed.
“She shows her compassion and love for animals each time she accompanies your pet! I was comfortable each visit she had with my pets. She sent many pictures and videos so I can see my fur-babies mood, they were happy and healthy. thanm you!”

“Loved Rinnah! This was my first time ever using Rover, and I had a lot of hesitation, but she made everything so easy. I had trouble figuring out the app at first, and she walked me through the whole process. She was amazing with my two large Bernedoodles, super communicative, and went above and beyond while I was away. I’d absolutely rebook with her again!”

“Sarah is great with my high energy dogs! It’s hard for me to find care for them because one of my dogs is scared of strangers, but Sarah made her feel comfortable and relaxed. Very thankful and looking forward to future appointments!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life from small spunky chihuahuas to heigh energy pointers. I’ve raised multiple puppies and have gone through puppy training classes with them so I am comfortable navigating the housetraining process if that’s where your pup is at. I’ve spent many years taking my dogs to dog parks where the behavior of other dogs can be unpredictable and I am comfortable managing difficult situations. I’ve also cared for diabetic dogs needing daily insulin injections. I love an excuse to spend time outdoors and don’t mind going for a hike, playing, and running around with higher energy dogs so they can get the exercise and stimulation they need outside of the house. I’ve raised puppies and lived with small to large dogs throughout my life. I’m extra mindful of the things that puppies and high energy breeds can get into. I am willing to follow whatever routine works best for your dog!

About: I’ve always had multiple pets in my life, Dogs, Cats, Birds, Fish, Horses etc. I’ve worked at multiple doggy-daycare centers and love to spend time with all animals no matter age or breed! I love to take morning and night walks and have a lot of free time in the evenings to take dogs to parks or hiking. I focus and prioritize the pets needs. I take walks and prioritize safety by carefully following care instructions, maintaining routines, monitoring for any changes in behavior or health, and providing regular updates and photos. My goal is to create a calm, comfortable environment
“Eric did an exceptional job! It was clear that he went above and beyond giving our cat some quality love and playtime, was communicative, and was generous with cute photos. During our meet and greet, he was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, and curious about our cat's habits. We would highly recommend him.”

About: I have owned 1 dog in my life time she was truly amazing and best dog I could have asked for. My parents and I were able to train her up to be a lovely dog. Unfortunately she was very attached to me and when my brother came into the picture we had to rehome her, but other than that I would love any other opportunity to look after other pets. My schedule for me is currently working my 8-4 job, im thinking to change it to 7-3 so that i have more free time in the afternoon. I will most likely never work a night shift at my job so im always available in the afternoon and partly in the morning. Im currently looking for more opportunities where I am able to work and provide more care. I will be working most weekdays which would be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so Sunday, Monday and Tuesday would be great for those who are looking for full time care. The days that I am working Im always able to do a quick check in and stay after my shift. In my clients home I will be respectful of their house/property and I will do my best to leave it better than when I came, I will also keep it nice and tidy when cleaning up.

“It was immediately apparent to my fiancé and I that Ember has the confidence, experience, and passion that we were looking for in a dog sitter for our two German shorthair pointers, and she did a wonderful job doing a very short notice drop in visit and walk. I whole heartedly recommend her and plan to book with her again in the future!”

About: I have broad experience with all pets and am not afraid of messes and challenges. I’d love to care for your pets and help set your mind at ease about being away. I’m a Nurse and work Monday through Friday from 7:30-4:00pm. More than happy to be to your home before work and after work as needed! I would be available to host your pet over the weekend only at this time, but I can stay at your home at any time!
“As usual, Rachael went above and beyond with my needy little ones. She stayed at the house this time and also took care of my plants. I came home to happy dogs and a clean house. Thank you Rachael!”

I haven’t had much experience with cats but I would love to start! I usually walk my dogs twice a day and I feel like walking other dogs during those days would be so fun! I also love to meet different pets :) I clean very well and I love dogs & cats! I haven’t been able to take care of a cat yet but I want to at some point!
About: I absolutely love pets, and I'm willing to bend over backwards to please your pet! I've only ever owned two dogs of my own, but I've cared for and dog-sat for many a friend over the years. I have experience with taking care of senior dogs, my own included, who often require special physical therapy for recovery or medications. I'm a teacher for the Anchorage School District, so pet care will be outside of my working hours. If your pet can remain happy at my home while I'm at work and they're okay with being alone for about 8 hours during the work day, they're welcome to stay with me. I'm available weekdays after 4 and weekends all day for at-home visits, dog walks, or other pet care. :) I have a fenced in yard and one friendly, older doggo of my own part time. (Her fur-daddy and I have shared custody, two weeks on, two weeks off). I'm familiar with giving prescriptions and care to sick doggos, as mine has been on medication for years for her heart condition, and has needed physical therapy treatments after various surgeries. I'll gladly visit your home if your pet prefers to remain in her/her environment.
About: With years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, I offer more than just basic pet sitting—I provide personalized, compassionate care tailored to your pet's needs. Whether it's training puppies with positive reinforcement techniques, administering medication to senior pets, or providing extra attention to pets with special needs, I go the extra mile to ensure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. My commitment to excellence and your pet’s well-being sets me apart, making me the perfect choice for those seeking peace of mind. I currently stay at home and have a completely open schedule. I am available for house sitting, walks, and drop in visits. I am pretty flexible with scheduling and can work with any schedule. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, safety, trust, and a comfortable environment are my top priorities. In my home, I create a pet-friendly space with secure areas where your pet can roam, play, and relax, free from any hazards. For dogs, I ensure they have plenty of exercise with daily walks and playtime in a fenced yard. For cats, I provide quiet, cozy spaces with access to fresh food, water, and engaging activities. In your home, I follow your pet’s established routine to maintain their sense of security, from meal times to play sessions. I take extra care to keep your space tidy and respect your household’s rules, ensuring your pet feels right at home. Whether it’s ensuring a calm environment for senior pets or a stimulating one for puppies, I tailor my approach to fit your pet’s specific needs and preferences, offering peace of mind while you’re away.
“Book Margarita! We never met her before we went overseas for almost 3 weeks, and didn't even have to worry about our place or our pet once! You can tell she's good people. Great updates every single visit. Our fussy-britches cat was clearly happy. The litter and food/water stations were inspection ready when we got home. It's soo good to have people you can count on when you need it, at a realistic price.”

About: I truly enjoy bonding and taking care of our little best friends . I have patience and experience providing care for animals throughout my life. I am currently at working full time , my work is done 50% remote and I have a flexible in office schedule that allows me to come and go as I need ; this allows me the opportunities to provide consistent care . I take the time to individualize care based of what your animal needs , I currently do not have any animals of my own residing in my home which has been a positive when boarding doggos that need there own space .
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience caring for dogs who may be reactive or selective around other animals. I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust when your dog requires extra awareness and responsibility. I’m attentive, proactive, and committed to keeping every dog in my care safe by avoiding risky situations and managing walks and interactions thoughtfully. I also grew up in a dog-loving household with four or more dogs at any given time. Our home was the go-to place for family and friends to leave their dogs while traveling or working, and at times we even cared for entire litters of puppies. Because of this, I have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, and I’m comfortable providing dependable, attentive care tailored to each dog’s individual needs. I currently work from home on freelance engineering design projects, and my own home improvement projects. This means I have a heaps of availability to pay attention to your pet! I am an active individual that recently moved to Anchorage, I love walking with dogs to explore neighborhoods and get exercise. I also have a yard at my home, which is unfenced, and I look forward to romping around with leashed dogs. Regarding situations where dogs stay at my house, I currently have two young cats which any visiting dogs will have to be okay with. Because my house has two levels, I do have the ability to block the stairway and provide my cats with a sanctuary if the cats get tired of dog games.

Anchorage dog parents share their Rover experiences
Katy is fantastic! She stopped by midday to let our dog out for a potty break and even brought in our packages, which we really appreciated. Communication was excellent the entire time; she kept us updated and made everything feel easy and stress-free. We’ll definitely be using her again!

Olga is the best! She was sweet, patient and understanding with my Australian Shepherd and accomplished to take her for walks while we were out of town. She included pictures during her visits, which greatly helped me feel at ease, and communicated daily crearly and straight to the point. Our house was left in great conditions and she followed our instructions respectfully. I absolutely recommend her service. Thank you, Olga! :)
