His dog is a gentle giant and was so patient with our one dog (who has crazy cattle dog energy and doesn’t get along with every dog). They came home tired, happy, and healthy. About: Hi! I’m Susie. I’ve always been an animal lover and know how much our pets mean to us. For years I’ve cared for my friends’ dogs whenever they traveled, and after realizing how much I enjoy it, I decided to join Rover. At home, I have a dachshund named Nugget and a cat named Cosmo, so caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. I live in a single-family home with my son, and we have a fully fenced backyard with a medium-sized doggy door, giving dogs plenty of room to safely play and explore. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home while they’re with us. I’ll follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and send regular photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home 4 days a week so I am available often. Thursday I go into the office 9-5, so animal would need to handle some alone time (crated/house trained) I follow instructions left by owner and if I need any further instructions I would contact owner. I am pretty laid back and animal would have full access to home and backyard.

Sarah was extremely accommodating for watching my newly rescued dog. She agreed to watch him while we are away for a week & half, but also agreed to take him for a couple nights to get him use to her home before the big trip. He had a great time on his trial night so I am confident that he will be fine for the time we do the long trip. He was so happy when we picked him. The house has a well fenced in yard in the front & back. He was in very good hands.
I was nervous to use Rover again after a bad first experience with a different sitter - one of my dogs got out and was missing overnight. So booking with Ralph took some courage. I’m so glad I did! Ralph is kind, thoughtful, and clearly has a safe, secure space set up for dogs both inside and out. He was great about communication, and everything about the experience gave me confidence that my dogs were safe and well cared for. It went so well that we’re already booked with Ralph again for a longer stay, which says it all! Highly recommend.
Aubrey was great to work with from reservation through pick up. I even had to pick up the dogs mid reservation to get our health certificate to fly out with the week. She made everything seamless. Alice was great with our needy pup. He’s got separation anxiety, but that wasn’t an issue because someone was always with him during his stay. There were plenty of humans and dogs to help put him at ease. Looking forward to more trips away now that we’ve got a great sitter!
Sondrea and Josh were absolutely the best sitters I have had! My golden puppy is a handful and they took such good care of him. I got so many pictures and videos. Cole was fantastic with Velvet, my 2-year-old rambunctious Norwegian Elkhound (who had truthfully run a few of my friends out of town). Cole sent me photos every day of a two week long vacation, obviously extending a lot of care to make sure Velvet was exercised in the middle of an early March cold snap. And that was after watching Velvet for the prior weekend, so I'm surprised Cole wasn't over my energetic doof of a dog! Cole was also extremely accommodating when travel plans threw curves our way, and we picked Velvet up a couple hours later than anticipated. I really appreciated his grace and kindness and would recommend him a thousand percent.
Kerry was amazing! She kept us updated throughout our whole boarding time. She was very accommodating to our dog who has severe anxiety, and even went out of her way to get our dog a new tag after the old one broke. Would definitely want to board our dog again with her! :)
