About: Hi! My name is Sami and I love dogs! I have two dogs, a black lab and a golden doodle. Unfortunately, they are in my hometown while I’m up in Anchorage for school. So I am looking for some dog company, whether that’s going on some walks or having a dog come stay with me for a couple nights! One of my dogs is a black lab and the other is a golden doodle. I have plenty of experience dog sitting various breeds such as German Short Haired Pointers, Blue Heelers, and plenty of other high energy dogs. But I would also love to have a couch potato come stay with me! I truly believe dogs are the best things and if you’re looking for someone to treat your dog as their own, then I am your girl! I currently am a student in the Dental Hygiene program at UAA. I will be at the school all day on Mondays and Wednesdays. I have shorter days on Tuesdays and Thursdays and do not have class Friday-Sunday. I have a fenced in backyard and when I am not at school, I am at home. I do not stay out late and never stay out all night. I love and take care of any other dog the way I care for mine.

“Finn's stay with Julie was great. I got multiple daily updates which was awesome since Finn is a puppy and I was worried he might be really stressed. They clearly have a lot of experience with dogs and all their quirks :). They are pretty flexible and offer a pick-up and drop-off option which came in handy this trip. I will definitely use them again. Their HOA only allows 2 dogs, so your dog will be the only one staying there with them and their dog. They are a very nice couple with a great set-up for watching a dog.”

Ryan and Chelsea were great with both of them from the start. Ryan answered all of our questions and was very open. While we were away he kept us updated with how they were doing and sent us photos and videos often. That made it so much easier to enjoy our trip and not have to worry how they were doing. Skoda (my German Shepard) has spent many, many days with Michael and Sharon. The best indication of satisfaction I can offer is Skoda's reaction when arriving at their home prior to a stay. He eagerly enters the home and sniffs around anticipating the company of furry friends which is something he doesn't get much of at home. If he's happy, I'm happy!
Cam and Vienna were so friendly and loving towards our dog Rosen! We got daily pictures of him hiking and meeting new dog friends and he was definitely treated as part of the family. I think Rosen is hoping we go back to Anchorage soon so he can stay with them again!
Manda did great with my pup, her dog got along great with my pup. She said she would put Lila, my pup, in her kennel when a Lila seemed stressed and let her calm down then let her back out after a while. She sent pictures while she was watching Lila and kept me updated. I plan on using her whenever I need someone to watch Lila 😊
