About: Hi! I’m Susie. I’ve always been an animal lover and know how much our pets mean to us. For years I’ve cared for my friends’ dogs whenever they traveled, and after realizing how much I enjoy it, I decided to join Rover. At home, I have a dachshund named Nugget and a cat named Cosmo, so caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. I live in a single-family home with my son, and we have a fully fenced backyard with a medium-sized doggy door, giving dogs plenty of room to safely play and explore. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home while they’re with us. I’ll follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and send regular photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home 4 days a week so I am available often. Thursday I go into the office 9-5, so animal would need to handle some alone time (crated/house trained) I follow instructions left by owner and if I need any further instructions I would contact owner. I am pretty laid back and animal would have full access to home and backyard.

“This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs with other people, let alone strangers. We went to do a meet and greet beforehand and didn’t know quite what to expect. Ryan and Chelsea were great with both of them from the start. Ryan answered all of our questions and was very open. While we were away he kept us updated with how they were doing and sent us photos and videos often. That made it so much easier to enjoy our trip and not have to worry how they were doing. When we went to pick them up, our dogs were excited to see us, but made sure to get last pets from Ryan. We know they are in good hands with Ryan and Chelsea. I was so thankful to find Susan to watch our two dogs, Bella and Lulu, while we went to Homer and Seward for the weekend. She sent frequent pictures so I knew they were in great hands. Susan accommodated our large kennels so our dogs had a familiar space to be in. They both came home happy, healthy and tired. Ashley took great care of our dog, walking her with her dog, snuggling, playing, and giving her medication. Ashley's dog and cat were welcoming and sweet to our dog. We got pictures/videos of dog walks and everyone (pets and human) chilling together on the couch, and Ashley was communicative and helpful. Thank you, Ashley. We will definitely be back!
Aubrey was great to work with from reservation through pick up. I even had to pick up the dogs mid reservation to get our health certificate to fly out with the week. She made everything seamless. Sondrea and Josh were absolutely the best sitters I have had! My golden puppy is a handful and they took such good care of him. I got so many pictures and videos. Sondrea met with me before my booking to make sure that everything would go smoothly. Excellent communication. My dog returned a very happy and tired boy. Thank you so much. 10/10 would rebook!
Kerry was amazing! She kept us updated throughout our whole boarding time. She was very accommodating to our dog who has severe anxiety, and even went out of her way to get our dog a new tag after the old one broke. Would definitely want to board our dog again with her! :)
Sarah was absolutely wonderful and incredibly accommodating when I needed a last-minute sitter to travel out of state for a funeral. She went above and beyond by sending daily photo updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She and her husband even took our fur baby out for pup cups (after asking permission), which was such a thoughtful touch. It was clear from the start that they cared for our dog as if she were their own.
