“Our dog seemed to enjoy her stay. Great yard for play, and neighborhood for walks. Kaitlin gave great updates during the stay and was flexible with us for drop off and pick up.”

“Olga was a great sitter for my golden! I appreciated the frequent updates and pics, and she seemed happy and tired when I got back. Would definitely recommend!”

“Sarah has a lovely home and spacious yard for Jorah to play with Bunny her pug in. Sarah was attentive to Jorahs needs and Jorah had a fun time with Sarah and Bunny!”

“Kerry is so thoughtful, communicative, and caring! I appreciate her clear affection for doggos, and her patience and understanding about Petra’s quirks. Thank you so much!”

“Sharon and Michael were wonderful with our pup! They were quick to message us and answer questions and very sweet and accommodating with our schedules. Our pup came back happy and well cared for!”
“Lindsey was great! My dog felt right at home with her two pups and was well taken care of. Looking forward to having Lindsey watch her in the future when I need a dog sitter.”

“Finn's stay with Julie was great. I got multiple daily updates which was awesome since Finn is a puppy and I was worried he might be really stressed. They clearly have a lot of experience with dogs and all their quirks :). They are pretty flexible and offer a pick-up and drop-off option which came in handy this trip. I will definitely use them again. Their HOA only allows 2 dogs, so your dog will be the only one staying there with them and their dog. They are a very nice couple with a great set-up for watching a dog.”

“I am so thankful for Huw & Jolynne taking in our dog on such short notice😁 we didn’t know when we would be able to move into our new home and they were so understanding. Enjoyed every photo and video of Lucy when she stayed with them! I would recommend them to everyone! Thanks Huw and Jolynne, you will be the first we think of if we ever need someone to dog sit our girl 🫶🏻”

“This was our first time using Rover and we had a great experience with Danielle. She communicated very well with us. She sent us pictures and was flexible with drop off and pick up times. She seems like she truly is an animal lover. I think our dog was a little nervous when we left him because it was with somebody new but when we came back, he didn’t wanna leave her !”

“Ralph gave excellent care to Maggie, treating her like his own dog. He sent multiple updates and it was great to know Maggie was loved while we were away. Thanks Ralph!”

“Trey is an awesome sitter! I know when Trey watches my dog that he is well taken care of, comfortable, and all his care needs are met. Thank you for taking such good, attentive care of Rocky!”
“Suzanne was highly responsive for booking and accommodating for drop off/pick up. While we didn’t have an opportunity for a meet and greet beforehand, she kindly responded to all my questions and concerns leading up to the stay. She sent a few quick updates and a couple photos during the two week stay, and didn’t report any issues. Suzanne was playing with my dog in the yard when I came to pick her up - they both looked like they were having a great time! Working with Suzanne was fuss-free and I would happily book with her again.”

“Kaitlin and her family took such good care of my girl! I couldn’t have asked for a better family to watch her for a week. Communication was excellent and I know she was well taken care of!”

“This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs with other people, let alone strangers. We went to do a meet and greet beforehand and didn’t know quite what to expect. Ryan and Chelsea were great with both of them from the start. Ryan answered all of our questions and was very open. While we were away he kept us updated with how they were doing and sent us photos and videos often. That made it so much easier to enjoy our trip and not have to worry how they were doing. When we went to pick them up, our dogs were excited to see us, but made sure to get last pets from Ryan. We know they are in good hands with Ryan and Chelsea. We will definitely be coming back to them for our trips and we highly recommend! Thank you so much!”

“Ashley was great! We needed to find a place at the last minute for our dog for a couple nights. Great communication and she was able to accommodate some minor schedule changes, which was a big help. And, she took great care of our dog, who said he had a blast!”

“Amanda is amazing. Lola loves the whole family. Happy dogs at Amanda’s. Regular updates and feedback. Very responsible care. Thank you Amanda for taking the fear and anxiety out of the equation.”

“Jessica took great care of my dog! She sent pictures all day every day. Jessica walked her multiple times a day. My sweet baby came back happy! Will definitely be using her again in the future!”

About: I’ve cared for cats of all ages and personalities, and I really enjoy getting to know each one. I understand that cats can be shy or independent, so I always move at their pace and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I take care of feeding, litter box cleaning, and spend time with them however they prefer! Whether that’s playing, relaxing nearby, or just keeping them company. I’m gentle, patient, and truly care about making sure every cat feels calm, loved, and well taken care of while their owner is away.

“Shelby was superb. She took care of everything we needed and was very responsive always. She sent us amazing pics of our Cat and videos of him being loved. Definitely recommending her. Thanks Shelby!!”

“Lauren is fantastic! Super attentive and communicative. Easy to work with and very gentle with my super shy cat who needed medication administered.”

“Jakob looked after my dog when I had a weekend trip out of town. He went above and beyond, taking great care of my dog, and took his well being into consideration during each walk with the weather being in the negatives. He took time to hang out with my dog during the downtime and has a unique way of connecting with my dog.”

“We are so grateful that Sarah took such good care of our house and cats while we were away for two weeks. She sent us pictures each night, and cleaned up the house before we got home. It was nice knowing she was taking care of everything so we could enjoy vacation!”

“Olga did a fantastic job checking in on our two cats when we were away. She was very responsive and sent great update photos. Our cats are visually impaired (one is blind and one only has one eye) and she not only took great care of them but they seemed to like her from the start. Will be booking again when we are next out of town! Thanks Olga!”

“Erica always takes good care of my cats even though one of them is a difficult old grump and one of them refuses to come out and see her. She communicates well and goes above and beyond. Have rebooked a few times and would rebook in the future and recommend.”

“Sinead was excellent, responsive and provided pictures and updates every visit. The cats had plenty of play time and pets and warmed up to her very fast. Know your cats are in caring and thoughtful hands while you are away.”

“Everything looks great and I appreciated the photos upon each visit with my two cats. One cat needs 5 kind of medication twice a day(!) in his food, but Rachel didn't miss a beat when I told her that! Thank you!”

“This is our second time using Alex for drop in visits with our bunnies, she was excellent just as before - very communicative and thorough. I feel very comfortable leaving our house in her hands, she's the best!”

“Highly recommend Krystina! She was kind, great to communicate with, and was so thoughtful to bring our packages inside when she checked in on our kitty. Our cat sometimes has trouble warming up to new people but we could tell from the pictures that she was happy to be around Krystina and enjoyed all the attention :)”

“Eric did an exceptional job! It was clear that he went above and beyond giving our cat some quality love and playtime, was communicative, and was generous with cute photos. During our meet and greet, he was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, and curious about our cat's habits. We would highly recommend him.”

About: Had 2 siamese back in the day and boy were they loud at times but faithful friends and beautiful animals. Rescued a stray in 2010 and come to find out she had hidden 5 kittens, they all ended up staying except one which went to a friend. We named them after the 4 seasons (including Fall and Autumn to give us 5 names). The mom we called Polly. Big fluffy mama cat. There’s only one left now but they all lived good long lives. My ex has the remaining one now.
About: I absolutely love pets, and I'm willing to bend over backwards to please your pet! I've only ever owned two dogs of my own, but I've cared for and dog-sat for many a friend over the years. I have experience with taking care of senior dogs, my own included, who often require special physical therapy for recovery or medications. I'm a teacher for the Anchorage School District, so pet care will be outside of my working hours. If your pet can remain happy at my home while I'm at work and they're okay with being alone for about 8 hours during the work day, they're welcome to stay with me. I'm available weekdays after 4 and weekends all day for at-home visits, dog walks, or other pet care. :) I have a fenced in yard and one friendly, older doggo of my own part time. (Her fur-daddy and I have shared custody, two weeks on, two weeks off). I'm familiar with giving prescriptions and care to sick doggos, as mine has been on medication for years for her heart condition, and has needed physical therapy treatments after various surgeries. I'll gladly visit your home if your pet prefers to remain in her/her environment.
“The best cat sitter ever!! Communication was timely and kind. Both of my older cats absolutely loved her. They were incredibly well taken care of; brushed, played with, fed, water and a litter clean. Also was so kind to water my plants at a last second request :) will be using Meredith and Macey any time I travel! Highly recommend!”

“Miss Allison is a great doggie sitter! Our old man Bodie really enjoys being with Allison. He is very well taken care of! He enjoys the walks and gets lots of outside time in the yard. We get a lot of pictures of Bodie’s stay even if it for a few hours. Miss Allison is very flexible with our schedule.”

“My golden retriever had a great day in day care with Sharon and Mike! Communication was very professional, and my dog came home very tired from playing all day. :) Will definitely book again.”

“Alex is great! I can tell my dog enjoys her time there because she was a little TOO excited on the second day. Alex takes lots of great pics and pays attention to my dog's behavior throughout the day. It's also nice that she provides a walk even though there's plenty of space to run around in her yard. Thank you!”

“I immediately knew when I visited Trey that her home and family wereperfect for my dog King. She sent photos during his stay and was very responsive to texts. Will book with her in the future!”

About: Hi! Both my husband and I have grown up in Alaska helping care for small chihuahuas all the way up to wolf-hybrids. We are a fun and loving couple with 2 small doodles of our own, 3 stories of house to play in, a small backyard/potty area, and located right next to a doggy park. We can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I work from home permanently, so I am able to provide care all day long for your fur baby. While I work, typically my two doodles spend their time snacking and watching TV! Once the work day is up, to the park we go! I have two miniature sized doodles to keep your dog company. Additionally, we have many toys available to play with, ample treats, and a small backyard area for potty with an additional park right next door. Both of my doodles are fixed and crate trained. :)
“Rogue loved his stays at Crystals house for doggy day care. She was very responsive, had great communication, provided us with updates and photos throughout the day. He loved playing with the other dogs. The second day we dropped him off he was running up to Crystal like he had a new best friend. Highly recommend and will be using her as a sitter in the future.”

“Mandy took amazing care of my dog Ophelia. I didn't even have to worry. At the end of the day, Ophi was happy and sleepy. Mandy was very responsive and sent awesome photos of Ophi. I WILL be rebooking with her, and I'm so grateful to have found her!”

About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees a few months ago. :( We have an older shihtzu and would like to watch another dog because our dog is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 2 dogs max at a time so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time tho since we also have a cat . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

About: During my childhood I often spent time with my grandmother and her pack of boxers. Now I have a Boston Terrier named Jack. I can handle a pack of up to 8 on my own I do currently have a job so I can be a bit busy sometimes. I live with quite a few people, we all help out with caring for the dogs in our care. I can usually feed the dogs in the morning and night. I can adhere to your dogs rules, whether you want them on furniture or not, whether you want them crated at certain times or not. I have not administered medicine before but I am willing to learn if need be.
About: Current medical student with so much motivation to get outside with my dog in between studying. When I was a kid, I always wanted a dog….but we owned everything except a dog due to our lack of a yard. To solve this, I would knock on my neighbors doors to walk and play with their dogs everyday. Now I can finally continue my love into adulthood. My rescue dog, Cowboy, would also love a furry friend. He was the dog the shelter used to socialize their dogs and I’m sure he misses it. I hope I can help you out and use the knowledge I’ve gained from training him and the dogs in my childhood to love and care for your friend! I work from home and have plenty of time to care for your pet. I take my dog on 2 walks a day and spend a lot of time playing, training, and cuddling. I would love to share this time with your pet too. I have a fully enclosed private back yard. Right outside my front door is a short walk to a park and many other walking trails.
About: Your pup will be treated like family! I have always been an animal lover and have treated all animals with kindness and compassion. I grew up with dogs (and a variety of other pets) and understand the commitment involved in taking good care of your beloved pet. I love watching Cesar Milan and know that rules, boundaries and limitations are also a key part of making a dog feel at ease. That being said, I'm quite a softy so there are generally very few rules as far as the house goes! :) My yard is completely fenced with lots of room to play. They can sleep wherever they choose and will always get plenty of time outdoors ( if they would like). I love walking and will take your pup for as many walks as you would like. My job is very flexible so while dog sitting I will always be at home and with your dog for the entire duration. I know that calmness and kindness are key to reassuring your pup and allowing them to feel happy and comfortable. Boarding can be stressful for animals and parents and I assure you that I will do everything I can to make the experience a joyous and pleasant one. Looking forward to caring for your beloved pup! I have recently lost my 17 yr old chihuahua so looking to have some more dog love in my life right now. Sincerely, Jackie I have a very flexible job as a vending machine owner/operator so I have lots of time to give love and walks to your fur baby! I like to keep pups stimulated with a variety of activities involving exercise, games and love. I enjoy creating fun games for them to do around the house!
About: I’m Zoey, I’m 30 and from Texas, I’ve been in Alaska almost 9 years. Animal lover and plant enthusiast!! I’ve loved taking care of animals since I was a little girl, I’ve always felt connected to all walks of life, and found them extremely intriguing and inspiring. My friends and family have counted on me to walk and sit for their pets for years now, including cats, dogs, ferrets, fish, birds and plants and a couple reptiles here and there :) hope to meet ur pup soon! I’m an owner of almost 50 indoor house plants. Which calls for routine and not quite like an animal, but I love them that much, I love taking care of things is what I’m trying to say :-) I wanna spend more time with animals than humans, life’s ruff. I would absolutely love to meet your pets, and help maintain the overall health of their fitness, taking them on long walks or short, I’m ready for it! Will follow any instructions left and or schedules, about triggers and what to avoid or what to focus on

“We are so glad that we found Elizabeth and HL, they have been great with our dog Buster. They treat Buster as if he were their own dog, and have a great affinity for what he needs. Buster can be a stubborn dog, and when at first he didn't want to go on walks with new people, Elizabeth and HL were so patient with him and would play with him instead. It didn't take long for them to gain Buster's trust, and now he is excited when he gets to go on walks with them. I would highly recommend Elizabeth and HL to anyone.”

“Jacob was fantastic. My dog is not always easy to work with due to some resource guarding issues, but Jacob had the patience and kindness to meet his needs. I feel very lucky that he took care of my dog, and I will be seeking his help again in the future.”

About: Our dog passed away and I miss her very much. Recently relocated to Alaska and loving it! Have extra time on my hands to care for your furry bundle. I’ll take care of her/him/them like my own. Sorry I can’t commit to a reoccurring schedule at this time. Currently between jobs (indefinitely!) so I have plenty of time until then to give your loved ones attention. I love being outdoors so plenty of fresh air is not an issue or playing inside and curling up on sofa with your fluff ball is cool too. No problem if your pet prefers their own space, I am open to all types of personalities. Happy to care for pets in your home according to your normal routine. I am currently renting so care in my home is not an option. Thanks for understanding.
“Eric was able to walk Tugboat on short notice. So helpful and kind. I appreciated the help. Eric also was able to get Tugboat to not be interested in pulling. Can't thank Eric enough. Tugboat was always excited to see Eric and knew the time was coming. Can't recommend Eric enough.”

About: I attended veterinary science at kcc for two years and continued on after that interning at clinics. CPR certified for pups & avid dog lady. Will love and care for your pups like they're my own. I am also well versed in dog allergic reactions and common diseases/infections & will alert you accordingly. I started my own dog walking/poop scooping business at 12 that I ran until I was 16 with over 10 returning clients! Caring for dogs has always felt like it’s what I’m supposed to do(: I work from home so I spend my days with my pup alternating between walks, car rides and work! I also have 2 cats who (as most cat lovers know) usually keep to themselves though I have seen them become affectionate with some dogs with calmer temperaments! My life revolves around these little critters and if you entrust me with your furry friend they will quickly become part of the pack and my life will revolve around them too while I have them! My home is a two story two bedroom home with a fenced yard and is fully doggie proofed/puppy proofed. I am a dog lady so I do allow dogs on my furniture and bed(unless I'm told otherwise by owners). I live about 5 minutes walking distance from a fenced dog park which I visit regularly and I take drives to Klatt field fenced in dog park regularly. I run a fairly lenient but still well kemp ship here, we all sit on the couch and hangout together and they’re all allowed on the bed at bedtime with me (unless I’m told otherwise). If a crate is needed I do have one kennel fit for an up to 80lbs dog that I keep in my downstairs room! If you’re inquiring about house sitting then consider me there! My husband and I both take care of our animals so if I am at your house, my animals won’t be an issue(:

“Finn's stay with Julie was great. I got multiple daily updates which was awesome since Finn is a puppy and I was worried he might be really stressed. They clearly have a lot of experience with dogs and all their quirks :). They are pretty flexible and offer a pick-up and drop-off option which came in handy this trip. I will definitely use them again. Their HOA only allows 2 dogs, so your dog will be the only one staying there with them and their dog. They are a very nice couple with a great set-up for watching a dog.”

She seems like she truly is an animal lover. I think our dog was a little nervous when we left him because it was with somebody new but when we came back, he didn’t wanna leave her !”

“Hawkin was amazing with OG!!! We received daily pictures/updates. Our flight back was delayed by two days and it wasn’t a problem for Hawkin at all. Hawkin made a stressful moment in our trip so much better knowing that OG would be taken care of and we didn’t need to worry. Thanks a million and I will absolutely be booking Hawkin again.”

“Faelyn and her family were very welcoming. We had a great meet and greet to get everyone acquainted, she clearly has a lot of experience and patience with animals. Once our dog was dropped off for the visit, Faelyn was very diligent about sending updates and pictures through the stay. Our pup was completely at ease and happy as a clam when we returned. We will definitely use Faelyn again next time we leave town!”

“This is our first time using Rover, and we struck gold with Emily. It is difficult to leave a beloved dog with a stranger so we arranged a pre-travel meet & greet to ensure our pet’s need would be met—frequent walks, love, and attention. She brought her dogs and they made one big happy pack. Just before we left, our dog developed a limp. Emily was extra cautious with him and he was all better when we returned 5 days later. She was great about sending multiple daily photos and texts to keep us updated. We are very grateful to have found someone like her and will definitely ask her to watch him again.”

“Ashley was great! We needed to find a place at the last minute for our dog for a couple nights. Great communication and she was able to accommodate some minor schedule changes, which was a big help. And, she took great care of our dog, who said he had a blast!”

“We left our dog with Joseph and Lisa for over a week while we were out of town. They sent a few pictures and I felt they took great care of our older dog. Thank you!”

About: Would love to love on others pets as we unexpectedly lost our dog of 12 years and aren’t ready for another of our own yet I’m currently a stay home mom to a 3 year old daughter, we walk almost everyday and have more than enough time and love to give! We have a shared unfenced yard but walk around the neighborhood daily. We have an open space for playing around and lots of time to give!
