“Erica agreed to help me out on relatively short notice, walking my dog Percy while I was out of town, and Percy's other parent was at work for 11 hours/day. It was so great to get the Rover cards she sent, with the cutest photos (Erica has a knack)! The peace of mind this gave me while I was out of town was priceless. I would love to have Erica care for Percy again anytime.”

“Ileah is great with our dogs, we have 2 Australian shepherds that are high energy, they respond well to her and she keeps good control over them. She is punctual, calm, responds quickly and is professional.”

“Alex is an exceptional Rover host. I hired her to walk my dog while I am at work, and she goes above and beyond every time. During the walk, she works on reaction training. She makes sure the water bowl is full before she leaves the house after finishing the walk. Cannot recommend her enough!”

“Alejandra was prompt, communicative, and you can tell how much she loves dogs. She took lots of great photos of the dogs on their walks and I knew they were safe and well cared for while I was at work.”

About: Active dog owner, we like to get out to touch grass. She’s a sniffer and the world is her toy. Long walks in town or out on trails. Work a week on, a week off in healthcare. Like to take my dog out on long walks through town, in a new park, or out on a trails I have a 4 yr old rescue dog myself. We’ve been traveling in healthcare for over a year. She’s crate trained but hardly needed, she’s chill during my work days on a couch and she’s quiet.
“Olga did a great job walking my dog, Jenny on short notice. I would use her again without hesitation. She was always right on time, sent lots of photos and also checked to make sure Jenny's water bowl was full.”

About: I've grown up with dogs and helped care for them since I was little. I have worked with a variety of breeds and sizes, and although I don't have any of my own at this time, I often dogsit and volunteer to walk shelter dogs. I am currently on furlough so I have plenty of time for pet services! Once I am back to full time work, I will continue to have ample availability on weekends, with slightly less weekday availability (before work, lunch, late afternoon/evenings). I do not currently offer services at my home. I will follow all client instructions for walks and home check ins, just let me know how I can best serve you and your furry friend.
“Tessa takes great care of Dash! She always communicates effectively, is easy to work with and always keeps me updated on how Dash is doing. Would highly recommend!”

About: Hi! My name is Seanbob. I grew up with dogs and have raised several puppies in my life. Me and my family currently have a friendly 'Newdle' in our home. We have a fenced-in yard and a separate, fenced, doggie yard. We live on the trail system that connects to a wonderful off-leash dog park, which is a 1-minute walk away from our backyard. I am available to dog-sit in our home, take your woof on a walk, or drop in on him/her. My wife is also a dog-lover and experienced with dogs of any type and age. We have two kids; all pets we will sit need to be child-friendly. I am at home and flexible for the foreseeable future due to my current career change. I can dog-sit your pup at my house, drop in at your house and dog-walk. Me and my family live 1 minute walking distance from an off-leash dog park. Our yard connects to the trail system and both dog-yard and entire yard are fenced in.
“Sharika is great with my 5-month old Samoyed puppy who can be very disobedient and stubborn at times. She is incredibly accommodating in terms of walk times, and is flexible which I sincerely appreciate. Would recommend Sharika 100%!”

“Being new to the valley, we were so blessed to have found Jen. She’s walks our dog Dakoda when my partner and I work and we are going to continue to have her walk him, and also dog sit when needed. Jen is quick with her responses, super personable, knowledgeable about all breeds, and the best of all updates and sends pics of her adventures. I highly recommend her for anyone in need of a dog sitter!”

About: Short-notice? No problem! Whether you got called into work, headed out for the night, or just need an extra hand, I’m here to help. I offer reliable dog walking and drop-in visits with flexible availability, including same-day scheduling whenever possible. I work a flexible and somewhat variable schedule from home so I’m able to plan hiking adventures in the Chugach for me and my dog, Axel. He is an active Labrador Retriever and needs more prolonged and strenuous activity than what we get with a short walk and quick game of fetch. When we get home from a hike, he is completely worn out and happy! We go several times a week, weather dependent. If your pup needs some strenuous exercise or a play date, book you service with me and Axel. For dog walking, I am happy to pick up your dog at your house or you can drop them off at my house. I drive a Subaru and have enough space for your dog to join mine for a short ride. I will then drive us to a local park or trailhead to begin our adventure. I will send you photos of the parking lot or trailhead and will let you know our estimated route and times. Walking/hiking times vary depending on your needs. In the case you need short term sitting while handing off your dog, I do have a fenced in backyard. For drop-in visits in your home, just let me know what you need. I’m happy to help out.
“Eric did a wonderful job walking our pups! He was on time, we got pics of them out on their walk and had 2 happy pup faces when they got home! Thank you Eric!”

About: Hi, my name is Anne. I moved to Anchorage last June and currently do not have a dog of my own so I am looking to pet sit and walk in my free time! I am currently working at an in office job where I can tend to your pet before and after as well as during my lunch hour (usually between 12 and 2) Before relocating I was a frequent dog sitter in my clients homes in Chicago. I found it best that dogs stay in their own space rather than going to a new unfamiliar environment.
