About: Hi there, my name is Erica! I grew up with dogs and currently have my own rescue pup, an eight-year-old German Shepherd mix. Over the years I’ve cared for friends and family's pets, both for pet sitting and walking. I have experience caring for dogs of all different sizes and breeds. I love the outdoors and will ensure your pup has plenty of fun and exercise! My schedule is currently pretty flexible, I am available during the day most of the week and have some weekend availability. I am happy to discuss your needs of when your pet needs care! About: Hi! Like most of us here i’ve been looking after dogs and cats for most of my life. From my own, to family, to friends and roommates pets. Recently i had the experience of looking after an elderly dog for a friend, he was 12 and had a failing hing leg, cataracts and arthritis. His eyes required drops, and pain meds with his food. Walking him was hard, but only to see him struggle, it gave me great joy to be able to give him all of my patience and attention in love in such a difficult time. I recently moved to Anchorage and haven’t been working here yet, taking time to enjoy being able to explore and have fun with winter sports. My schedule is completely open, i have no other obligations at this time, other than taking care of my own pets We have a large backyard here that our dog can run around and play in during the potty breaks, which is great for her as she loves to run. I take Chuli with me for most all of my hikes and drives around the area.

About: I have lived with cats my entire life, and own two currently. I regularly check on friends cats and dogs when they are out of town (for the past 10 years), so I am confident in my abilities to give your pets the attention they need while you're away. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with patience, attention, and respect. I work remotely as a postdoc for UAF and my schedule can be flexible to work with yours/your pets needs! About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve spent years caring for pets for friends and family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I make sure every animal gets plenty of exercise, affection, playtime, and care while their family is away. I love creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for every animal I watch. I am great with any communication requests/requirements and I hope to help make this process easy and smooth :) As a General Manager in retail, I have a very flexible schedule and am able to create my own work hours. I can adjust my day as needed and take breaks when necessary, making it easy for me to return home for feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and general care. My schedule typically ranges between the hours of 9am to 9:30pm, but I have the flexibility to structure those hours around the needs of my pet. I worked in child care for a couple years and I am the oldest four siblings. I also grew up with our family dog named Pookah. While I understand that caring for humans and dogs are different, I have experience caring for others with the upmost respect, care, kindness, and patience. I love taking walks and getting outside. About: I’ve worked at 1 different doggy daycares/1 rescue group for over 8 years. I’m always around dogs, of different sizes, temperaments, I’m great with all dogs, even dogs that don’t like other animals. etc..I will still walk them or dog sit them at their houses (I can’t board them at my house if they can be aggressive because I have other dogs). I love dogs so spending time with them is amazing. Im free all weekend to do anything for or with your pets. On the weekdays I get off work at 2pm so anytime after that I’d love to work! I have a fully fenced yard, 2 dog friends for your pet to play and cuddle with. I also have crates if needed for your dog.

About: I’ve been an animal lover since I can remember. I’ve owned a golden retriever and Shih Tzu poodles. I will care for your pet like it’s my own. I’m a stay at home mom to two kiddos, a 4 and 7 year old. I’m also a mama to an 8 year old shitzu poodle. I have lots of time in my day to be flexible and walk your pup or check on your loved one! I have a fenced in yard. I’m also able to easily walk, bike or drive over to your loved ones home. My day is very flexible.

About: I have been taking care of pets for family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors for as long as I can remember. I am reliable, consistent and build relationships with the pets to keep them comfortable while you are away. My full-time job has summers off, so I have more open availability. Barring the 4 or 5-hour gaps in my day with my part-time job, I can give your pet the care they need/require. I have two medium-sized dogs and a geriatric cat (he is 26!). Caring for them brings me joy and purpose. I promise to carry over that same kindness and compassion that I have with my pets to your pets. I also understand what is necessary to take care of older pets, so if they need a little extra help, I am up for it.

About: Our dog passed away and I miss her very much. Recently relocated to Alaska and loving it! Have extra time on my hands to care for your furry bundle. I’ll take care of her/him/them like my own. Sorry I can’t commit to a reoccurring schedule at this time. Currently between jobs (indefinitely!) so I have plenty of time until then to give your loved ones attention. I love being outdoors so plenty of fresh air is not an issue or playing inside and curling up on sofa with your fluff ball is cool too. No problem if your pet prefers their own space, I am open to all types of personalities. Happy to care for pets in your home according to your normal routine. About: Hello! My name is Elise! I’m from Alaska, I moved here in October. I grew up with many different animals. I’ve had many dogs, cats, as well as bunnies, horses and I’ve cared for birds. I love animals very much and I am very good at taking care of them. I’ve been pet sitting since I was about 14 but not really officially since I was 16. I’ve trained quite a few puppies and I’ve helped birth a lot of cats and dogs. About: Hello Rover! I have spent my entire life around dogs of all breeds and have experience taking care of a wide variety of personality types! I have a 10 year old Australian Shepherd named Oliver so I am very familiar with high maintenance/active dog breeds. I'm currently taking a month long break from work before starting a new job. What better way to make some extra money in the down time than taking care of dogs? I am located close to several wooded trails as well as Kincaid park, where I frequent with my own Australian Shepherd Oliver. With such an active breed, we are out and about multiple times each day.

About: Ive had dogs in my life for just about all of it. I figured why not walk dogs and make some side cash while I walk around. Taking care of pets and walking dogs is more of just a part time thing I'm doing to pass the time and get to hang out with animals. Before I moved to Anchorage my family had 4 dogs that I took care of on a daily basis. I always make sure the dog is secured to a lease before I bring them out. Currently on a part time seasonal schedule with more time going to be available in the winter. Figured this would be a great way to stay active and outside while going into the winter months I've have plenty of experience with dogs and their care growing up in northwest Alaska. My siblings and I all had dogs growing up from newborn pups to our fathers dog that lived until he was 21.

About: I am a Certified Veterinary Technician with many years of experience in the veterinary field and a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, giving me a strong background in animal care and behavior. I have raised and cared for dogs for over 20 years and love playing, walking, pottying, and spending quality time with them. I am also trained to help animals in emergency situations. My dog, Pico de Gallo, is the love of my life, and I would treat your dog/cat/animal with the same care, patience, and love as if they were my own. I work for myself, so any animal that needs care would be worked into my schedule. I can do stop-ins, walks, play time, anything that is needed for your pets to be taken care of. As my calendar fills up, I ensure the times requested for pets come first before overloading my schedule. I would take care of pets in my clients' homes. I would do potty breaks and ensure the house was not used. I would take the dogs for walks and play with them to burn off some energy before bringing them back home, if the owner allowed it. I would also feed and make sure they drank water before I left, updating the owner on how they are doing. Otherwise, I would utilize the spaces given to me ( a fenced yard, etc.). For cats, I would check in on them and make sure they are fed and watered. i would play with them with their toys and then update their owner on how they are doing.
