“Erica agreed to help me out on relatively short notice, walking my dog Percy while I was out of town, and Percy's other parent was at work for 11 hours/day. It was so great to get the Rover cards she sent, with the cutest photos (Erica has a knack)! The peace of mind this gave me while I was out of town was priceless. I would love to have Erica care for Percy again anytime.”

About: I am a 41yo Born & Raised Florida Boy. Brought up on a farm with everything from chickens, cows, Horses, pigs, sheep to Chow chews, English Mastiffs & Pugs. I genuinely love all animals but Dogs in general steal my heart so fast. I currently do not work so I am available 24 x 7 at this time. Plenty of time to offer love & care to your fur babies. I am also available to stay or visit your place if you feel more secure that way. I'm looking for a few ongoing visits as to not only build a relationship with the fur babies but as to make the stays as stress free as possible for both human & pet. I have a 1 bed flat. Plenty of dog parks and places to go for a walk. I do not have a fenced in yard but the dog parks and outside is where we like to he as a family.

ADDITIONALLY: I prefer to cycle to clients close to my home so I'd greatly appreciate knowing of any secure places I can lock my bike while providing services. I do have a car and can drive, but enjoy a good bike ride much more. I will follow whatever directions you need to be sure your pet is properly taken care of. As a nurse, I am comfortable with providing whatever care is required and will be learning skills specific to pets to be able to care for them as best I can. I do not have the ability to crate or host pets in my own home. I am, however, willing to house sit in the Anchorage area, Wasilla, and Girdwood. If in Wasilla or Girdwood, I'd prefer a longer (week plus) gig to make the drive worth it but definitely reach out and check. I may be able to swing it!

“Lindsey did a great job walking my rambunctious 10 month old Aussie. She was communicative and rolled with unexpected changes to my schedule and apartment access. I really appreciated her ability to meet my last minute booking request and will definitely use her again in the future.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and started caring for them when I was just a kid. Over the years, I’ve become the person friends, family, and neighbors trust to look after their pets. Whether it’s walking energetic puppies, feeding senior dogs, or comforting anxious rescues, I always show up with patience and care. I also work with dogs and cats in my current job, so I’m very comfortable handling a variety of needs and personalities. I treat every pet like my own, with love, attention, and a focus on making them feel safe and happy. I work part time so I have a pretty flexible schedule currently! I’m able to do walks, check ins, or extended stays for the more anxious pets. I don’t care for pets in my own home, but when I’m in someone else’s, I treat it like my own and make sure your pet feels safe and loved. I have two cats who are spoiled in the best way—they get time outside, lots of love, and all the attention they need. That same care carries over into how I treat every animal I look after. I’ll always follow your routine and make sure your pet feels comfortable and at ease while you’re away.

My rates have been the same for 3 years, and as I continue to navigate these services, these prices are the most appropriate currently. Thank you for understanding.‼️ *I work 8am-5pm in an office setting. There is no guarantee that I will be able to leave campus to let out kiddos for potty breaks* I absolutely love animals and I’m so happy that I am able to continue dog walking/sitting services in Alaska! From Ohio all the way to Alaska, I have been walking/dog sitting since I was a Junior in college! However, with a new job and being a board member for a nonprofit, my schedule is not as flexible as it used to be. I always make sure to respect animal space and clients requests regarding the care of their pet. I appreciate loads of information, directions, and care routines.

About: I love all animals, with proper direction I’m positive I can give adequate care to any and all animals and ensure their safety and health. I work full time with a nonprofit organization downtown that helps unhoused youths. My schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 2:30 pm - 10:30. My days off are Friday and Saturday. I can take one break depending on the how far the location is from my work to give a potty break. In my free time I’m devoted to whatever may come and is needed for any and all pets ❤️ I’ve worked with the state for most of my adult life and always have passed a background check. My resume includes elderly care, hospital healthcare, in home healthcare, and most recently three years as a domestic violence/homeless shelter advocate with a non profit organization in rural Alaska. I’ve had animals my entire life and enjoy the company of all! I have experience with not only cats and dogs but fish, rodents and reptiles as well. I am open and eager to learn and care for all different kinds of animals and am confident in my abilities to do so with adequate information from the pet parents.

“Sharika is great with my 5-month old Samoyed puppy who can be very disobedient and stubborn at times. She is incredibly accommodating in terms of walk times, and is flexible which I sincerely appreciate. Would recommend Sharika 100%!”

Joshua S.
“Watching Joshua interact with my mother's elderly pug and my baby kitten was truly a joy to behold. His ability to connect with animals on a emotional and physical and psychological level is anything short of amazing. Joshua has a cheery and adoring disposition along with a passionate soul that dogs and cats and animals of all kind can really connect with. His experience in the medical field has been proven to showcase his abilities and capabilities when it comes to caring for animals and their needs. He is a devoted and caring owner when it comes to his own pug Deku, these two share a bond that is unmatched by any pairing of human and animal kind I have ever seen in my life. On many occasions I have witnessed Joshua put Deku's needs and other animals needs before his own. I have the utmost respect for Joshua and his loving and caring demeanor and passion for animals. I highly recommend him for anybody who wants someone to be focused on their furry companion. Thank you. Jordan Cote”
