About: I've had companion dogs for most of my adult life. Usually two dogs at a time. My oldest dog was a Red Healer cattle dog who eventually became blind and deaf, living to be almost 19yo. I've also had Australian Shepherds (2) and Border Collies (2) and enjoy the smart dog challenge. I consider my experience well rounded from training puppies to caring for older dogs who have special needs. I love them all like they are one of a kind and deserve the best this life has to offer. Thank you in advance for considering me as part of your pet's care! I work during the day M-F close to home. Home on the weekends. Daily walks are provided with additional play time and potty breaks as needed. I have a fenced yard and usually accompany the dog outside so they are not alone in the yard. Play time also occurs in the fenced yard space. Dogs are free to roam the house and be part of our family while boarding but I also offer containment to an area of the house or crate if needed.

About: My husband and I lost our great Pyrenees last year :( We miss him. We would like to watch another dog because our shihtzu is getting older and does not like to hike anymore. She does enjoy her walks tho. We like all types of dogs as long as they are well behaved and get along with cats and other dogs. Our home is 2,800 sq ft and we have a 10,000 sq ft yard. We can only host 1 dog so your dog will be well taken care. We prefer only one at a time since we also have a cat but may make an exception if from the same family . I am currently working part time but work from home most of the time. My husband also works from home . We walk our dog 2 -3 times a day. We like to hike and during the summer and in winter we walk the trails that are right next to our home. I have a fenced yard , but can also crate your baby if you prefer. We have everything needed for a big or little dog.

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and have been caring for them since I was a little kid. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and they are truly family to me. One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my late dog, Roo, who battled cancer for about a year before we lost her in September. During that time, I gained experience providing medication, extra comfort, patience, and specialized care. I have a 1 year old puppy named Tilly and a 14 year old dog named Leo who keep me active and remind me every day how important exercise, playtime, routine, and affection are. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own! I have a secure fenced backyard for supervised play and plenty of space for dogs to relax indoors. My own dogs are friendly, playful, and very accustomed to being around other dogs. I grew up with dogs (and a variety of other pets) and understand the commitment involved in taking good care of your beloved pet. I love watching Cesar Milan and know that rules, boundaries and limitations are also a key part of making a dog feel at ease. That being said, I'm quite a softy so there are generally very few rules as far as the house goes! :) My yard is completely fenced with lots of room to play. About: I got a golden doodle when I was very young. Ever since then I’ve had a huge love for dogs and all animals. I’ve grown up with one, we got a second one shortly after. We basically had a mini farm at home, including ducks and bunnies. Once I moved out of my parents house I got a cat and a border collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I’ve been around animals all of my life. And I couldn’t imagine life without them. I work a full-time job Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with an hour lunch. I work Fridays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. I usually go home for lunch to make sure all pets are cared for. After work, I usually stay home for the rest of the night. I live in an apartment on the second floor with a balcony. It is a very safe environment. And cozy place. It is in a closed balcony, so there is no risks of animals falling off. I have two different windows that are big and both open for fresh air.

About: Roughly two years ago, I received a call from a colleague asking to house sit for a weekend after a previous bad experience with boarding two dogs. Both with health issues and one of them not sociable with other dogs. My colleague came back to a clean home, garden watered, mail organized and the dogs very well loved and walked everyday. Ever since, I have housesat for anywhere from 48hrs to nearly 30 days at a time with zero issues. Bed time rituals, feeding songs, walking a slightly reactive dog, cuddling very closely at night were the priorities at the top of the to-do list. Now that two years have passed since that first call I have decided to try my hand at truly making dog walking/house sitting/drop-in playdates a side gig! I work 12hrs a day, rotating weeks 3 days or 4 days a week. Typically Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday off every week. I am up early most mornings in my time off, can make myself available for late nights Wednesday-Friday as well. In your home, I will follow all requests diligently, check all doors and windows before leaving or before bed. I am MANDT de-escalation trained, CPR/BLS certified and will soon be training to further my EMS-adjacent skillsets. In emergencies, I understand the importance of prioritizing the fur babies and keeping them out of harm’s way.

“Rachael did great with our sometimes challenging dogs. The Meet and Greet started a little rough as Rachael had some transportation issues but she communicated well. I was very impressed with her determination to make the Meet and Greet happen, which did the next day. She interacted well with both dogs and one dog quickly took to her. About: Since childhood my family has always had a dog. I am very used to running, walking, snuggling and playing! Let's meet and see our compatibility! **I work full time, Monday- Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm** So please take this into consideration before booking with me for any service. I am always free FULL DAYS on weekends and the evenings of the work week. If the home is not far from my job (midtown Anchorage) during my lunch hour I could go to check on the dog/let them outside as I have a 1 hour lunch break at 1:00pm during the work week. I do not have a fenced yard and live in a pet free property, so all my pet sitting will need to be done at the pet's home and/or parks. I am available for over night stays, general dog walking on weekends/play time, or to do drop in visits.

I am great with any communication requests/requirements and I hope to help make this process easy and smooth :) As a General Manager in retail, I have a very flexible schedule and am able to create my own work hours. I can adjust my day as needed and take breaks when necessary, making it easy for me to return home for feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and general care. My schedule typically ranges between the hours of 9am to 9:30pm, but I have the flexibility to structure those hours around the needs of my pet. I worked in child care for a couple years and I am the oldest four siblings. I also grew up with our family dog named Pookah. While I understand that caring for humans and dogs are different, I have experience caring for others with the upmost respect, care, kindness, and patience. I love taking walks and getting outside. Overall, I strive to create a very warm and fun environment for any pet I care for.

“Zoe & I did a meet & greet with Stacey & her dog before booking & Zoe seemed ok with her. She has a yard for the dogs to run around in. Stacey is very personable! Stacey was great about sending updates & pictures. She included Zoe in any outdoor activity she & her dog went on. Zoe is nervous with new people, but Stacey said Zoe warmed up to her & her dog quickly. Stacey let me know that I may not have packed Zoe enough food (mom fail) & asked what brand I fed her vs. just feeding Zoe what her dog ate, which I greatly appreciated (Zoe did have just enough, lol). She gave me thorough rundown when I picked Zoe up. I highly recommend Stacey & Zoe will be definitely staying with her again.”

“This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs with other people, let alone strangers. We went to do a meet and greet beforehand and didn’t know quite what to expect. Ryan and Chelsea were great with both of them from the start. Ryan answered all of our questions and was very open. While we were away he kept us updated with how they were doing and sent us photos and videos often. That made it so much easier to enjoy our trip and not have to worry how they were doing. When we went to pick them up, our dogs were excited to see us, but made sure to get last pets from Ryan. We know they are in good hands with Ryan and Chelsea.
