About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience caring for dogs who may be reactive or selective around other animals. I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust when your dog requires extra awareness and responsibility. I’m attentive, proactive, and committed to keeping every dog in my care safe by avoiding risky situations and managing walks and interactions thoughtfully. I also grew up in a dog-loving household with four or more dogs at any given time. Our home was the go-to place for family and friends to leave their dogs while traveling or working, and at times we even cared for entire litters of puppies. Because of this, I have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, and I’m comfortable providing dependable, attentive care tailored to each dog’s individual needs. I currently work from home on freelance engineering design projects, and my own home improvement projects. This means I have a heaps of availability to pay attention to your pet! I am an active individual that recently moved to Anchorage, I love walking with dogs to explore neighborhoods and get exercise. I also have a yard at my home, which is unfenced, and I look forward to romping around with leashed dogs. Regarding situations where dogs stay at my house, I currently have two young cats which any visiting dogs will have to be okay with. Because my house has two levels, I do have the ability to block the stairway and provide my cats with a sanctuary if the cats get tired of dog games.

About: I’ve grown up with many dogs, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I understand their behavior, needs, and how to keep them comfortable, safe, and happy in different situations. About: I've had companion dogs for most of my adult life. Usually two dogs at a time. My oldest dog was a Red Healer cattle dog who eventually became blind and deaf, living to be almost 19yo. I've also had Australian Shepherds (2) and Border Collies (2) and enjoy the smart dog challenge. I consider my experience well rounded from training puppies to caring for older dogs who have special needs. I love them all like they are one of a kind and deserve the best this life has to offer. Thank you in advance for considering me as part of your pet's care! I work during the day M-F close to home. Home on the weekends. Daily walks are provided with additional play time and potty breaks as needed. I have a fenced yard and usually accompany the dog outside so they are not alone in the yard. Play time also occurs in the fenced yard space. Dogs are free to roam the house and be part of our family while boarding but I also offer containment to an area of the house or crate if needed.

Your pet will receive top care while being set-up for success when spending time with me! Book with me & I’ll help make your life a little less stressful — your pet has a friend in me! I have a very flexible schedule and can take care of your pets in the afternoon or evenings during Monday-Friday. With ample notice, I can even take care of your pet in the mornings Monday-Friday. On weekends, I can take care of your pet at any time! I’ll make sure to provide a safe environment for everyone. I will care for your pet according to your instructions. If I am at your home, I will abide by your house rules and care for your pet accordingly. Your pet will be safe and cared for in my care.

About: I love all animals, with proper direction I’m positive I can give adequate care to any and all animals and ensure their safety and health. I work full time with a nonprofit organization downtown that helps unhoused youths. My schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 2:30 pm - 10:30. My days off are Friday and Saturday. I can take one break depending on the how far the location is from my work to give a potty break. In my free time I’m devoted to whatever may come and is needed for any and all pets ❤️ I’ve worked with the state for most of my adult life and always have passed a background check. My resume includes elderly care, hospital healthcare, in home healthcare, and most recently three years as a domestic violence/homeless shelter advocate with a non profit organization in rural Alaska. I’ve had animals my entire life and enjoy the company of all! I have experience with not only cats and dogs but fish, rodents and reptiles as well.
