My name is Jacob and I have 15 years of experience caring for mine and my family's pets. I also have approximately 4 years of volunteer experience at shelters caring for cats and dogs. I have experience walking and caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and energy levels. From tiny pups to large, strong dogs, I'm confident handling them safely and calmly. I've worked with dogs that have behavioral challenges such as leash reactivity, anxiety, fearfulness and high energy. I'm patient, attentive, and always focused on understanding each dog's unique needs. I'm autistic, and I've found that this often allows me to connect especially well with animals. I'm very attentive to body language, routines, and subtle behavior changes, which helps me respond calmly and consistently- particularly with dogs who need a little extra understanding. My goal is to make every walk a positive, stress-free experience.
