“Sorona is so professional and thorough. Our dogs are happy and healthy and our home was spotless! She asks really good questions and sends photos and videos which really helps who we are missing our dogs so much.”

“Jayda always takes such good care of my house and pup! I can tell everything is cared for as if it was her home and gives my dog lots of lovings. Being away is always nerve-racking for me but I feel at ease knowing my baby is being well taken care of!”

“Freya was great with my two pups! She is excellent at communicating and providing updates. Our dogs were well taken care of and I didn’t have to worry once when being away. Will be booking again!”

“Natalie is a wonderful house and pet caregiver. She took great care of our animals and was communicative and conscientious. We are already trying to rebook her for our next trip out of town.”

“They were great! Our cat was well cared for, our house was left very clean and neat. They sent us photos of our cat which we really appreciated. They even picked up our packages from our neighbor. They were awesome!”

“I have a difficult time with leaving my animals behind when I travel but she did a great job and my animals did great with her, especially my dog. More than happy to have her as a sitter again!”

“We had Jakob and Ida dog/housesit for a few days and was pleased with their service. Jakob kept me informed and as promised dogs were tired from their walk when we got home. Plan to continue to use them for dog walking as well as house sitting services.”

About: Roughly two years ago, I received a call from a colleague asking to house sit for a weekend after a previous bad experience with boarding two dogs. Both with health issues and one of them not sociable with other dogs. My colleague came back to a clean home, garden watered, mail organized and the dogs very well loved and walked everyday. Ever since, I have housesat for anywhere from 48hrs to nearly 30 days at a time with zero issues. Bed time rituals, feeding songs, walking a slightly reactive dog, cuddling very closely at night were the priorities at the top of the to-do list. Now that two years have passed since that first call I have decided to try my hand at truly making dog walking/house sitting/drop-in playdates a side gig! I work 12hrs a day, rotating weeks 3 days or 4 days a week. Typically Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday off every week. I am up early most mornings in my time off, can make myself available for late nights Wednesday-Friday as well. In your home, I will follow all requests diligently, check all doors and windows before leaving or before bed. I am MANDT de-escalation trained, CPR/BLS certified and will soon be training to further my EMS-adjacent skillsets. In emergencies, I understand the importance of prioritizing the fur babies and keeping them out of harm’s way.

About: I got a golden doodle when I was very young. Ever since then I’ve had a huge love for dogs and all animals. I’ve grown up with one, we got a second one shortly after. We basically had a mini farm at home, including ducks and bunnies. Once I moved out of my parents house I got a cat and a border collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I’ve been around animals all of my life. And I couldn’t imagine life without them. I work a full-time job Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with an hour lunch. I work Fridays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. I usually go home for lunch to make sure all pets are cared for. After work, I usually stay home for the rest of the night. I live in an apartment on the second floor with a balcony. It is a very safe environment. And cozy place. It is in a closed balcony, so there is no risks of animals falling off. I have two different windows that are big and both open for fresh air.
“A+ Emma was excellent. We needed an in-home dog sitter to look after our puppy for a week and she did an incredible job looking after our puppy and home. She was communicative and flexible with the handful of requests we threw her way. 100% will book her again!”

“Traveled out of state for Christmas and had the best gift from Izabelle! She stayed over in our home caring for our little Milo, who can be a little much and who needs someone with a lot of patience and understanding. Izabelle did just that and more, during the busiest time of year! Izabelle was a great house guest and dog sitter and would very much so, recommend her to care for your 🐾 loved ones!”

“Nancy was super reliable, communicated well, & is a very nice person. My home was in great condition. I’ve had a number of rough experiences with prior sitters, so it meant a lot to not have to worry about my dog at all while on a work trip. I highly recommend Nancy!”

“Madeleine did a wonderful job house sitting for a weekend and took amazing care of my dogs! She is reliable, easy to communicate with, and left my house super tidy. She went above and beyond to help me out when my flight was delayed unexpectedly.”

“Cory was amazing! He took care of my dogs and house as if it was his. He kept us updated, left my house better than what it was. I will definitely be reaching out again to have him stay with the animals. Thank you Cory!! I appreciate you so much!”

“Sarah took excellent care of our pup, chickens, and home! She sent lots of pics everyday and was very communicative. Our doggy is shy but she won him over :)”

“Jazmine did great with my two dogs! I was in an area with spotty cell service all week and felt very comforted knowing Jazmine was caring for my dogs! She even had little report cards for them when I returned. It was so sweet!”

“We loved having Kerry house sit for our dogs. She is very good with them and we can tell our old ladies were well taken care of. She is observant and communicates well.”

“Jennifer was awesome with our pup! She took him on a nice walk. We really appreciated that she kept us informed on how he was doing and sent us pictures throughout the day.”
“Eric was fantastic with my dogs. He sent me great pictures multiple times a day and I could tell they were loving their time with him! Eric made being away from home feel easy knowing that they were in good care.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Rogers Park
Aspen is very kind with a gentle demeanor. She came over to meet us and our 2 dog babies a week or so before we needed a sitter. She was calm and warm. She dog sat in our home for a little over a week and we got photos and messages during the trip updating us on how the dogs were doing. She was quick to reply when we would check in as well. She left our dogs happy and our home clean. Aspen is fairly new to Rover but I would recommend her to anyone. Thanks Aspen for a great job.

Tanya was amazing with our kids! She was conscientious in our home, and asked clarifying questions to ensure she was adhering to our routines. Our animals are all older and she was able to make sure they were comfortable and got extra love while we were away.
Bridget was fantastic! She took great care of our two dogs while we were away and gave us real peace of mind during our vacation. She was communicative, reliable, and clearly cared about our pups. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for dogs, and we wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!

Amy did an excellent job caring for our pets. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about their well-being. We appreciated the updates and photos while we were away, and it gave us great peace of mind. Our pets were happy and well cared for when we returned. We highly recommend Amy and would gladly book with her again!

Grateful we hired Jen, and absolutely would hire her again. She was communicative, responsive, took a great care of my dogs, my fish, and my house… She followed instructions well, made sure to reach out whenever she did have questions, and took initiative to take care of other things around the house that I didn’t explicitly ask for, but that were simple and appreciated. Things like taking out trash and bringing the mail in. My dogs seemed happy and she sent me photo updates throughout our trip away. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for care.

Katrina is the absolute best!! She always takes such great care of my dog Lilly and is so thoughtful and detail oriented. Lilly adores her, and Katraena always sends so many cute pics and videos. I have booked with her multiple times now and I always feel at ease knowing she’s watching my girl while I’m away! 10/10 recommend her

Eric watched our dogs for a couple days and was reliable and communicated well. He let us know when he arrived at our house and sent lots of pictures putting me at ease. Dogs were clearly in good hands and we would not hesitate to have Eric watch the dogs or walk them again in the future.

I had an emergency and had to leave town very suddenly and was not sure when I could return home. Bobby accepted my last minute request to book and she was here the next morning. Callie and Bobby’s pup got along great and I think having a 4-legged friend here helped Callie. I returned 2 days before the booking ended and Bobby was very flexible and accommodating.
