I typically work from home in the morning, then go into the office. My office is dog friendly if that environment would make sense with the dog’s personality. They would be gated in my office, and only interacting with others supervised. My work schedule is very flexible, and arraignments can be made to spend more time in your home with your pets if planned ahead of time. I typically do something active mid-day/evening depending on weather and sunlight. Unfortunately, my apartment does not allow pets so I will be care for your pets in your home.

I think it makes sense to have consistent rules, so I’m happy to follow the pet care rules you typically have in your home. I would prefer to meet your pets prior to me caring for them. I’m not a novice, I can handle basically any situation with pets, just let me know it might happen so it can be avoided, minimized, and/or prepared for. Allergies, medication/special care, symptoms to watch for, vet information, if they are used to a specific routine, personality, reactiveness.
A typical day
I really miss having a dog, so I’m excited to spend time with pets and get to know them and what they like to do. I love taking dogs for walks, cuddling, playing, training. It will totally depend on what the dog enjoys doing.

Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs throughout my whole life. I have taken care of injured, senior, puppies, special care animals in my home and other’s. I have trained the past two family dogs from puppies. I have done extensive house/dog/cat sitting for neighbors, friends, and family. I am comfortable with all sized dogs. I have taken care of dogs that were on and off leash dogs. I am comfortable handling dogs in a variety of environments, including dog parks (if that fits with your dog). Big fan of positive reinforcement with a sharp ‘No’ at times. I work in emergency management so I am very calm under pressure.

Bridget is amazing!!! The dogs love her and she takes such good care of them. She is in tune with the dogs' patterns and communicates when things seem off. I feel very at ease when we are away knowing she is able to handle any situation!
Bridget took wonderful care of our two dogs, including our puppy who can definitely be a bit of a handful. We really appreciated the updates and photos while we were away. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend Bridget to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.
