“Ileah is great with our dogs, we have 2 Australian shepherds that are high energy, they respond well to her and she keeps good control over them. She is punctual, calm, responds quickly and is professional.”

“Sarah is an amazing dog walker!! She agreed to do 4 days of walks just a day before. We met up and Sarah asked great questions, which really showed me her solid knowledge of pet care. She was always on time and gave descriptive post walk summaries with photos. She even broke her toe half way through the week but continued to finish up the walks for the week. Would recommend!”

About: Having spent years working in my uncle's urban farm, I learned how to handle and care for all kinds of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, goats and more. I consider my dogs, kitty and hens to be part of my family and treat them with love and kindness. I enjoy walking dogs, throwing the ball around or just snuggling up with a good movie. I am currently focusing on animal care exclusively. Animals are my passion along with pet photography. My daily routine is 100% dedicated to creating safe, rewarding experiences for the animals in my care. Our home sits on a 1/3 acre lot with both front and back yard fully fenced. Our hens have a dedicated safe fenced yard all their own to ensure the health and safety of all critters. In a client's home, I take pride in caring for the home as well as the animals, and will respect and treat your spaces as I would my own.

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals just about my whole life. I’ve taken care of cats & dogs from the puppy/kitten stage all the way to senior. I have taken care of my friends and family’s pets as well and id love to meet and care for yours too :) I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter. Currently I am available any day, anytime. This may change if I get another job but right now I’m available whenever someone needs me :) I currently have a cat at home. And I take care of my family’s dogs whenever they need it. I also volunteer with animals. . I try to spend as much time with animals as I can.

“Maggie arrived on time & was great with Coco!”

About: I have been watching the dogs and cats of friends and family since I was in middle school, and have stayed overnight with a 6 month old puppy to make sure she was comfortable. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my number 1 priority. I always make sure to open the door slowly and make sure your pet can’t escape, and will follow any tips and tricks you provide as an owner. Please consider me when you’re planning your next trip, scheduling your next walk, or just want someone reliable to check in on your pup or kitty! I work full time and am always on call, but I have three dogs at home and make sure I can make time for the fur babies! I always ensure dogs are as at-home as possible and move at their pace, whether they need a run or just to hop outside and then curl back on the couch.

“Erica really helped me out in a pinch by walking Kenai on short notice! I really appreciated her intentional positivity and skilled interaction with my dog. She worked really hard to ensure Kenai had positive interactions with other dogs. It’s obvious she knows what she’s doing and cares greatly.”

About: Howdy! I'm a professional house-sitter/pet sitter who has been traveling the world and taking care of fur-babies everywhere! I love on dogs, cats, small rodents. No snakes, please. During my visits or stays, I'll send you pictures and notes. During my extended stays, I'll share a 'conversation' I've had with your pet. (I'm fluent in dog and cat, and I know a little Spanish. I can record these/facetime you). Need your dog to be active? No problem! I'm always looking for a walking/running partner! Stop and smell the roses? Don't mind if we do! All I ask is if you tell me if your dog is animal or human aggressive (or any other information) before my first visit. Does your pet need medication in the middle of the day? No worries. I have reliable transportation and can be at your house at whatever time (traffic dependent) you desire to administer medication. *UPDATE: I have a 11-3pm dog-walking job where I won't be able to walk your pet. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. While I'm not available for long-term-stays right now, I would love to care for your pet while you are out of town!

About: ‼️As of June 20, 2023 I increased my rates to $50 a night. My rates have been the same for 3 years, and as I continue to navigate these services, these prices are the most appropriate currently. Thank you for understanding.‼️ *I work 8am-5pm in an office setting. There is no guarantee that I will be able to leave campus to let out kiddos for potty breaks* I absolutely love animals and I’m so happy that I am able to continue dog walking/sitting services in Alaska! From Ohio all the way to Alaska, I have been walking/dog sitting since I was a Junior in college! However, with a new job and being a board member for a nonprofit, my schedule is not as flexible as it used to be. I always make sure to respect animal space and clients requests regarding the care of their pet. I appreciate loads of information, directions, and care routines.

About: I take this job seriously, it’s my primary source of income. Hire me & you can take that summer trip stressfree, or whatever the situation. I’ll take full care of your animal while you’re gone & respect your home/privacy. I send fun daily video updates. People love them. I do reoccurring walks too, if you want. Looking for repeat & nearby clients. I am 32 yrs old. Old enough to be 100% reliable & responsible. No-nonsense. Good karma is real. I love animals & animals love me too, either right away or with time 🐾 I train, if needed. I like listening to music, minding my business, & doing a good job for you. Former operations safety manager in heavy industrial manufacturing sector. I’m seeking repeat/routine clients, within a 1 mile range of downtown Anchorage (skateboard distance), who can compensate high quality pet care service. My 1st priority is keeping your pet(s) safe, happy, & in their routines. My 2nd is keeping you stress-free while you’re away via fun text-video updates. Former factory manager. Nowadays, I’m either working on my computer in my apartment or working out. I stayed in hundreds of peoples homes the past few years vía travel work. Every host on Airbnb has given me excellent reviews. You can trust me to be clean & leave your place as I found it.

“Eric was able to walk Tugboat on short notice. So helpful and kind. I appreciated the help. Eric also was able to get Tugboat to not be interested in pulling. Can't thank Eric enough. Tugboat was always excited to see Eric and knew the time was coming. Can't recommend Eric enough.”

ADDITIONALLY: I prefer to cycle to clients close to my home so I'd greatly appreciate knowing of any secure places I can lock my bike while providing services. I do have a car and can drive, but enjoy a good bike ride much more. I will follow whatever directions you need to be sure your pet is properly taken care of. As a nurse, I am comfortable with providing whatever care is required and will be learning skills specific to pets to be able to care for them as best I can. I do not have the ability to crate or host pets in my own home. I am, however, willing to house sit in the Anchorage area, Wasilla, and Girdwood. If in Wasilla or Girdwood, I'd prefer a longer (week plus) gig to make the drive worth it but definitely reach out and check. I may be able to swing it!

About: I am a 41yo Born & Raised Florida Boy. Brought up on a farm with everything from chickens, cows, Horses, pigs, sheep to Chow chews, English Mastiffs & Pugs. I genuinely love all animals but Dogs in general steal my heart so fast. I currently do not work so I am available 24 x 7 at this time. Plenty of time to offer love & care to your fur babies. I am also available to stay or visit your place if you feel more secure that way. I'm looking for a few ongoing visits as to not only build a relationship with the fur babies but as to make the stays as stress free as possible for both human & pet. I have a 1 bed flat. Plenty of dog parks and places to go for a walk. I do not have a fenced in yard but the dog parks and outside is where we like to he as a family.

“I want to give Callen 1 star just because I don’t want to share her! She is so kind and loved on my dogs as if they were hers. Finding her was a huge relief and after meeting with her ahead of the first walk, I was confident that my dogs were in great hands!”

“Rachael is reliable and extremely patient in getting to know my dog. I would trust her with my dog any day:)”

About: Growing up with dogs, cats, horses and even goats - I’m no stranger to pet care and all that it entails. As a nurse, I have a rotating schedule that allows me to have frequent weekdays off so I can help you with your pets! Additionally, it means I have no qualms about veterinary care such as medications or special precautions for any pups who need it. I have my own Alaskan Husky, Dash, so I’m no stranger to puppy training, either. I’m happy to do whatever I can to make sure your doggo has the best day. My work schedule varies week to week, but I always have 4 days a week off to help out with your pup. On those days, my days are pretty free to accommodate your dog’s care needs! Refer to my Rover calendar for availability. I have a fenced yard as well as a very sweet young pup named Dash who can play with your dog if you would like! I live right near a great trail system for dog walks, but I also love to go for hikes if that’s what your dog needs, and I have a comfy couch for those who rather snuggle up with me while I read.

15. Joshua S.
“Watching Joshua interact with my mother's elderly pug and my baby kitten was truly a joy to behold. His ability to connect with animals on a emotional and physical and psychological level is anything short of amazing. Joshua has a cheery and adoring disposition along with a passionate soul that dogs and cats and animals of all kind can really connect with. His experience in the medical field has been proven to showcase his abilities and capabilities when it comes to caring for animals and their needs. He is a devoted and caring owner when it comes to his own pug Deku, these two share a bond that is unmatched by any pairing of human and animal kind I have ever seen in my life. On many occasions I have witnessed Joshua put Deku's needs and other animals needs before his own. I have the utmost respect for Joshua and his loving and caring demeanor and passion for animals.
