Dog Walking Spenard

About: I've had companion dogs for most of my adult life. Usually two dogs at a time. My oldest dog was a Red Healer cattle dog who eventually became blind and deaf, living to be almost 19yo. I've also had Australian Shepherds (2) and Border Collies (2) and enjoy the smart dog challenge. I consider my experience well rounded from training puppies to caring for older dogs who have special needs. I love them all like they are one of a kind and deserve the best this life has to offer. Thank you in advance for considering me as part of your pet's care! I work during the day M-F close to home. Home on the weekends. Daily walks are provided with additional play time and potty breaks as needed. I have a fenced yard and usually accompany the dog outside so they are not alone in the yard. Play time also occurs in the fenced yard space. Dogs are free to roam the house and be part of our family while boarding but I also offer containment to an area of the house or crate if needed.

About: Hi, I’m Sarah and I’m a lifelong Alaskan. I have a small dog of my own that will welcome your best friend as one of the pack! I grew up with pets, I’ve attended dog behavioral training and first aid courses, and there’s never been a time in my life when I didn’t have a dog. I have a fenced property with a big yard in a convenient midtown location. We’d love to have your dog stay with us! I am now home and dog sitting full-time every day. I can accommodate almost any schedule necessary and can work with your needs for drop off and pick up. I have a fenced property with a large yard for your dog to enjoy. Typically I don’t use crates unless requested by the owner and your pet is welcome to make themself at home. I also love taking photos so you can expect lots of pics of your pup while they’re staying with us.

About: I’ve worked at 1 different doggy daycares/1 rescue group for over 8 years. I’m always around dogs, of different sizes, temperaments, I’m great with all dogs, even dogs that don’t like other animals. etc..I will still walk them or dog sit them at their houses (I can’t board them at my house if they can be aggressive because I have other dogs). I love dogs so spending time with them is amazing. Im free all weekend to do anything for or with your pets. On the weekdays I get off work at 2pm so anytime after that I’d love to work! I have a fully fenced yard, 2 dog friends for your pet to play and cuddle with. I also have crates if needed for your dog.

About: Our dog passed away and I miss her very much. Recently relocated to Alaska and loving it! Have extra time on my hands to care for your furry bundle. I’ll take care of her/him/them like my own. Sorry I can’t commit to a reoccurring schedule at this time. Currently between jobs (indefinitely!) so I have plenty of time until then to give your loved ones attention. I love being outdoors so plenty of fresh air is not an issue or playing inside and curling up on sofa with your fluff ball is cool too. No problem if your pet prefers their own space, I am open to all types of personalities. Happy to care for pets in your home according to your normal routine. I am currently renting so care in my home is not an option. Thanks for understanding.

About: I dog sit my friends and family. Now with the summer I have more time on my hands and would like to try out this app. I’ve had dogs, kittens, birds. I’m just an animal friendly lady. One of my old dogs had 3 puppies and she was an amazing mama. One of her puppies was born blind and boy was that an experience. He heavily depended on my voice to show when to step up and down on to curbs on the street. I’ve also got experience with dogs who know sign language as I am fluent in ASL. I’m fine with tiny animals all the way up to the big friendly giants. I have taken care of dogs that growl when excited and what they really want is for you to get on their level. Some dogs just feel safer if you greet them while crouched down with them. It all depends on their temperament. You can trust me with your fur baby and I’ll make sure they have the best walkies! I am available Friday through Monday. I’m available any time during those days. I usually walk around Westchester Lagoon, Fish Creek, or Earthquake park (to name a few places), but I’m willing to take a drive to walk elsewhere. I have a fenced yard and live in a quiet neighborhood. The service I offer is dog walking. If you’d like your dog to stay closer to home or if you prefer a more enriching experience for your dog I can go longer distances. I walk at a fast pace but am willing to slow down according to your fur babies needs.

About: I got a golden doodle when I was very young. Ever since then I’ve had a huge love for dogs and all animals. I’ve grown up with one, we got a second one shortly after. We basically had a mini farm at home, including ducks and bunnies. Once I moved out of my parents house I got a cat and a border collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I’ve been around animals all of my life. And I couldn’t imagine life without them. I work a full-time job Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with an hour lunch. I work Fridays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. I usually go home for lunch to make sure all pets are cared for. After work, I usually stay home for the rest of the night. I live in an apartment on the second floor with a balcony. It is a very safe environment. And cozy place. It is in a closed balcony, so there is no risks of animals falling off. I have two different windows that are big and both open for fresh air.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve spent years caring for pets for friends and family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I make sure every animal gets plenty of exercise, affection, playtime, and care while their family is away. I love creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for every animal I watch. I am great with any communication requests/requirements and I hope to help make this process easy and smooth :) As a General Manager in retail, I have a very flexible schedule and am able to create my own work hours. I can adjust my day as needed and take breaks when necessary, making it easy for me to return home for feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and general care. My schedule typically ranges between the hours of 9am to 9:30pm, but I have the flexibility to structure those hours around the needs of my pet. About: Hello Rover! I have spent my entire life around dogs of all breeds and have experience taking care of a wide variety of personality types! I have a 10 year old Australian Shepherd named Oliver so I am very familiar with high maintenance/active dog breeds. I'm currently taking a month long break from work before starting a new job. What better way to make some extra money in the down time than taking care of dogs? I am located close to several wooded trails as well as Kincaid park, where I frequent with my own Australian Shepherd Oliver. With such an active breed, we are out and about multiple times each day.

About: I have lived with cats my entire life, and own two currently. I regularly check on friends cats and dogs when they are out of town (for the past 10 years), so I am confident in my abilities to give your pets the attention they need while you're away. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with patience, attention, and respect. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, medication reminders, enrichment, or just some extra companionship while you're away, I’ll make sure they feel safe and cared for. I work remotely as a postdoc for UAF and my schedule can be flexible to work with yours/your pets needs! I enjoy spending time outdoors, and I’m happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, and active outings tailored to your pet’s needs. I’m reliable, communicative, and will always send updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away. I have two cats and will generally not be accepting any stay-over visits at my own house. They are really friendly and love humans but other pets would be stressful for everyone!

About: I grew up on a farm in Rupert, Idaho running around with cows, chickens, horses, and dogs. I love working on the farm with my Dad and taking care of all of the animals. Being a caretaker is a large part of who I am. As I have also worked in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. Being a caregiver is not about you. It is about who you take care of. Each individual is different and should be treated that way. I currently live in a spacious apartment that has a fenced in dog park where they can play and make friends. I could also provide one on one activities if that is preferred, so whether your dog is large or small, young and active, or aged and tired, or just tired, or whatever. About: Hello! My name is Elise! I’m from Alaska, I moved here in October. I grew up with many different animals. I’ve had many dogs, cats, as well as bunnies, horses and I’ve cared for birds. I love animals very much and I am very good at taking care of them. I’ve been pet sitting since I was about 14 but not really officially since I was 16. I’ve trained quite a few puppies and I’ve helped birth a lot of cats and dogs.
