Pet Sitting Spenard

About: I've had companion dogs for most of my adult life. Usually two dogs at a time. My oldest dog was a Red Healer cattle dog who eventually became blind and deaf, living to be almost 19yo. I've also had Australian Shepherds (2) and Border Collies (2) and enjoy the smart dog challenge. I consider my experience well rounded from training puppies to caring for older dogs who have special needs. I love them all like they are one of a kind and deserve the best this life has to offer. Thank you in advance for considering me as part of your pet's care! I work during the day M-F close to home. Home on the weekends. Daily walks are provided with additional play time and potty breaks as needed. I have a fenced yard and usually accompany the dog outside so they are not alone in the yard. Play time also occurs in the fenced yard space. Dogs are free to roam the house and be part of our family while boarding but I also offer containment to an area of the house or crate if needed.

About: Hi there! Life long Alaskan and animal lover. I grew up around dogs and cats my whole life, and love spending time with all animals. I have a bunny of my own as well! Love taking my family dogs out, playing with them, and just spending time with them. I work part time, so my schedule can be pretty flexible with notice. I love to go on daily walks anyways, so definitely would love to bring a pup out with me as well! I will treat your pets as if they are my own because I know how special they are to you! I treat my own pets with lots of love and affection, as well as attention.

About: I got a golden doodle when I was very young. Ever since then I’ve had a huge love for dogs and all animals. I’ve grown up with one, we got a second one shortly after. We basically had a mini farm at home, including ducks and bunnies. Once I moved out of my parents house I got a cat and a border collie/Australian Shepherd mix. I’ve been around animals all of my life. And I couldn’t imagine life without them. I work a full-time job Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with an hour lunch. I work Fridays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. I usually go home for lunch to make sure all pets are cared for. After work, I usually stay home for the rest of the night. I live in an apartment on the second floor with a balcony. It is a very safe environment. And cozy place. It is in a closed balcony, so there is no risks of animals falling off. I have two different windows that are big and both open for fresh air.

About: I've been a dedicated pet caregiver for 5 years, including 2 years caring for a senior dog in North Carolina - managing medication schedules and gentle exercise routines - plus ongoing care for my own cat at home. I also have experience training puppies on basic commands like sit, stay, and come, using positive reinforcement. I'm committed to attentive, compassionate care and treat every pet like family. When caring for pets in my own home, I ensure that they have plenty of food and fresh water, clean litter boxes (if applicable), and comfortable bedding. I also provide daily playtime and exercise, as well as regular grooming to keep them looking and feeling their best. When providing care in my clients' homes, I follow their specific instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any other special needs their pets may have. I make sure to provide plenty of attention and affection to make the pets feel comfortable and happy in their own environment.

About: I grew up with dogs in the house and have walked and house sat for many clients. I have experience with puppy training, working with reactive dogs, working with high energy dogs and senior dogs, and have a special love for vizlas and other bird dogs My daily and weekly schedule vary from week to week since I’m a freelance worker but I’m typically free weekends and mornings and mid- afternoons. I like to prioritize keeping the space very clean, if not cleaner than I found it when caring for a home. In my home I’ve kept a very demanding pet which entailed early bathroom breaks, at least two 5+ miles a day, and plenty of reactivity training that entailed practicing meeting new people and dogs in comfortable environments. I also have experience with both cats and dogs that aren’t big people pets and know how to approach with respect to their autonomy and read their body language.

Since I don’t currently have pets of my own or a house, I provide care in my client’s home. I make sure to follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, litter box care, and giving them plenty of attention and companionship. I respect each client’s home and make sure it stays clean, secure, and comfortable while they’re away. Most importantly, I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and the same care I would want for my own.
